This paper presents physics based analytical model for center potential, electric field and subthreshold drain current of Junctionless Accumulation Mode Cylindrical Surrounding Gate MOSFET (JAM‐CSG). The expressions are derived from Poisson's equation in cylindrical co‐ordinate system based on parabolic potential approximation (PPA). The influence of technology parameter variations such as gate length, silicon pillar diameter and oxide thickness on electrical characteristics is studied in detail. To increase the unit area illumination of solar ray on PV panel, it is required to track the sun throughout the day. So to reach the goal various type of sun tracking mechanism is already developed but in this paper we designed two different types of sun tracking mechanism: single axis and dual axis tracking using programmable logic controller (PLC) as it has numbers of unique advantages like??it is faster, reliable, requires less maintenance and reprogrammable. Here we report a comparative study of the healing kinetics of surgically created artificial defects in the tibia of New Zealand white rabbits. Comparison of the healing kinetics was made for uncoated conventional SS316L intramedullary pins, and the same pins with microplasma sprayed (MIPS) pure hydroxyapatite (HAp) and beta-tri calcium phosphate (β-TCP) coatings. After thorough material characterizations including XRD, FTIR, SEM, etc., MIPS coated pins were implanted to such animals. Serum biochemistry, radiology and fluorochrome labelling were used to evaluate the comparative healing kinetics of these implants in vivo. In comparison to those of the uncoated pins, the pins coated with both MIPS HAp and β-TCP showed significant increment of alkaline phosphatase up to 15th postoperative day, insignificant changes in serum phosphorus and calcium with uneventful healing of bone defect. There was development of Havarsian canals and well-defined peripherally placed osteoblasts along with evidence of angiogenesis and comparatively more new bone formation in the defect site. On a comparative scale, the performance of the β-TCP coated intramedullary pins was much better than that of the pure HAp coated pins than the uncoated intramedullary pins.  相似文献

To develop an all organic active matrix light emitting display required for large area thin display, electronic paper and electronic paints, Si-based thin film transistor has to be replaced with organic thin film transistor (OTFT). The most important issues in OTFT are the low charge carrier mobility and poor stability under ambient conditions, which critically depend on how organic thin films are grown on different substrates. Here we show that both these issues are correlated and can be overcome by certain surface morphology which can only be achieved through anisotropic growth. Careful control of different growth parameters can lead to unprecedented control on thin film morphology which has been shown to be engineered reversibly and reproducibly. High temperature and low evaporation rate increase the diffusive mobility of molecules, which are responsible for the stacking of molecules to higher length scales. By carefully choosing a temperature and evaporation rate, elongated rod-like grains were grown for achieving high performance and stable thin film transistors.  相似文献

This research investigates the equilibrium solubilization behavior of naphthalene and phenanthrene from multicomponent nonaqueous-phase liquids (NAPLs) by five different polyoxyethylene nonionic surfactants. The overall goal of the study was to achieve an improved understanding of surfactant-aided dissolution of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) from multicomponent NAPLs in the context of surfactant-enhanced remediation of contaminated sites. The extent of solubilization of the PAHs in the surfactant micelles increased linearly with the PAH mole fraction in the NAPL. The solubilization extent and micelle-water equilibrium partition coefficient of the PAHs increased with the size of the polar shell region of the micelles rather than the size of the hydrophobic core of the micelle. The presence of both PAHs in the shell region of the micelles was confirmed by 1H NMR analysis. This is an important observation because it is commonly assumed that in multi-solute systems the solutes with relatively greater hydrophobicity are solubilized only in the micellar core. A comparison of the 1H NMR spectra of pure surfactant solutions and solutions contacted with various NAPLs demonstrated that the distribution of PAHs between the shell and the core changed with the concentration of PAHs in the micelles and in the NAPL. Competitive solubilization of the PAHs was observed when both PAHs were present in the NAPL. For example, in surfactant solutions of Brij 35 and Tween 80, the solubilization of phenanthrene was decreased in the presence of naphthalene as compared to systems that contained phenanthrene as the only solute. In contrast, with micellar solutions of Tergitol NP-10 and Triton X-100, phenanthrene solubilization was enhanced in the presence of naphthalene. The activity coefficients of the PAHs in the micellar phase were generally found to increase with PAH concentrations in the micelle.  相似文献

Several studies have shown that biostimulation in ex situ systems such as landfarms and biopiles can facilitate remediation of petroleum hydrocarbon contaminated soils at sub-Arctic sites during summers when temperatures are above freezing. In this study, we examine the biodegradation of semivolatile (F2: C10-C16) and nonvolatile (F3: C16-C34) petroleum hydrocarbons and microbial respiration and population dynamics at post- and presummer temperatures ranging from -5 to 14 °C. The studies were conducted in pilot-scale tanks with soils obtained from a historically contaminated sub-Arctic site in Resolution Island (RI), Canada. In aerobic, nutrient-amended, unsaturated soils, the F2 hydrocarbons decreased by 32% during the seasonal freeze-thaw phase where soils were cooled from 2 to -5 °C at a freezing rate of -0.12 °C d(-1) and then thawed from -5 to 4 °C at a thawing rate of +0.16 °C d(-1). In the unamended (control) tank, the F2 fraction only decreased by 14% during the same period. Biodegradation of individual hydrocarbon compounds in the nutrient-amended soils was also confirmed by comparing their abundance over time to that of the conserved diesel biomarker, bicyclic sesquiterpanes (BS). During this period, microbial respiration was observed, even at subzero temperatures when unfrozen liquid water was detected during the freeze-thaw period. An increase in culturable heterotrophs and 16S rDNA copy numbers was noted during the freezing phase, and the (14)C-hexadecane mineralization in soil samples obtained from the nutrient-amended tank steadily increased. Hydrocarbon degrading bacterial populations identified as Corynebacterineae- and Alkanindiges-related strains emerged during the freezing and thawing phases, respectively, indicating there were temperature-based microbial community shifts.  相似文献

A novel image-based defect identification and coding technique has been proposed for fluted ingots, which are used for the production of locomotive wheels. The edge density map has been used for defect identification and an object-based coding approach has been applied for the storage of defective ingots.
