The aim of this work was to investigate the physical and mechanical performance of architectural polyester (PES)–poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC) membranes exposed to different artificial aging conditions. Two commercially available architectural membranes were chosen as research objects. The durability of the PES/PVC fabrics was evaluated by the loss in mechanical performance, scanning electron microscopy, and X-ray diffraction analysis in order to understand the effect of the degradation agents on the surface of the membranes. The mechanical performance of the PES/PVC membranes was unchanged. Scanning electron microscopy images of the tested materials showed initial cracks after aging. The X-ray fluorescence analysis showed that at the time of aging, the amount of Cl and Si decreased slightly, while Ti decreased by half, and Ca by volume increased twice. © 2019 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. In this work, electron beam welding by electron accelerator of tungsten and chromium carbides and subsequent pulse processing by low-energy electrons has been applied for fabrication of nano- and ultradisperse grain structures penetrated by the system of nanosized pores. It has been demonstrated that, in the region of secondary pulse exposure, the nanohardness and elasticity modulus achieve high values. The wear resistance of the modified structure depends on the value of the specific load in the vicinity of contact with indentor.  相似文献

The technology of concentration of the sulfide antimony-arsenic gold-bearing ore containing 3.6 g/tn Au, 0.3% Sb, and 0.4% As is developed. This technology implies the flotation separation of antimonite and arsenopyrite into separate products and allows them to perform in various cycles, increasing production efficiency due to a decrease in consumption of sulfuric acid for bacterial oxidation and cyanide for gold leaching and increasing the recovery of gold and additional profit from the commercial antimony product.  相似文献

The effect of the nature of the support of a Co catalyst on the synthesis of hydrocarbons from CO, H2, and C2H4 was studied in this work. It was found that the introduction of ethylene into synthesis gas resulted in an increase in the yield of liquid hydrocarbons. In this case, the conversion of C2H4 was complete and the degree of its involvement into the synthesis of C5+ hydrocarbons depended on the concentration of this component in the starting mixture and the nature of the support. Specific features of the adsorption of CO and C2H4 on the used Co catalysts were determined using a temperature-programmed desorption method.  相似文献

The results of investigations into processing the nickel-containing ores and concentrates (the sulfide copper-nickel ore of the Shanuch deposit, the nickel-pyrrhotine concentrate of the Talnakh processing plant, and the silicate nickel ore) with the use of microorganisms of immobilized bacteria as surfactants for autoclave leaching and bacterial iron-containing solutions for the utilization of sulfur-containing gases of pyrometallurgic production are presented. The influence of the presence of flotation reagents and nickel ions on the oxidizing activity of biomass is investigated. The combined production flowcharts of processing nickel-containing raw materials applying the bacterial-chemical oxidation are developed.  相似文献

Iron catalysts supported on an activated fibrous carbon material (AFCM) and characterized by high performance in the hydrocarbon synthesis from CO and H2 have been studied. It has been shown that the promotion of Fe/AFCM catalysts with potassium and aluminum oxides or with copper reduces the optimum temperature of Fischer-Tropsch synthesis and enhances the polymerizing activity of the catalysts.  相似文献
