The collections created by patients that in the past were locked up until death, and the few spontaneous productions by characters who shut themselves away, but whose pieces of work are being discovered by chance still today (Jeannot's floorboard, work by Henri Darger), are distinguishing by their consistency, whilst the evolution of medical care for patients with psychotic disorders allow gifted teenagers eager to make a career in arts and exhibit their paintings, to express themselves in diversified ways e.g. frequency of self-portraits, incompletion, etc. Even though images allegedly convey a sense of maturation, this representation is to be found amid themes dictated by modernity which are substituting subject matters that are no longer topical for painting.     

« Melting-PainTherapy » à l’unité pour malades difficiles de Cadillac : le patient est un artiste !

In Melting-PainTherapy workshop, we offer an innovative art therapy activity set in the unit for difficult patients in Cadillac, Gironde, France. Our hospital hosts patients with mental issues that let them, or may lead them, to commit one or more dangerous acts. Organized by nurses with a strong and highly developed artistic sensitivity, it is aimed towards patients who voluntarily participate, once, or more, or on a regular basis to our art project, while working alone with a nurse. In this workshop, the patient is an artist. He gets to create, express himself, realize and manage his possibilities, limitations, frustrations, constraints and relationship to himself and others. The Melting-PainTherapy concept revolves around the elaboration of collective art pieces meant to advance the individuals on rotative canvases.     

Water Specific Therapy Halliwick (WSTH) : intérêt de la thérapie dans l’eau pour enfants paralysés cérébraux

The Halliwick method, created in England in 1949 by J. McMillan, engineer, who offered his services at the Halliwick swimming school for young girls cp, is based on the physical properties of water and consists of a program in ten points (TPP) for swimming initiation; WSTH is a learning engine in water which facilitates the management of the movements and activities of daily life on earth. It's in agreement with the normal motor development of the child, the levels of motor evolution (NEM), International Classification of Functioning, disability and health (ICF) proposed by the WHO in 2001 as well as with Huber's positive health (2011). Several scientific studies attest to the efficientness of the Halliwick method and of the WSTH on motor skills. Four field studies, published, compared WSTH to conventional aquatic therapy (CAT), randomized, in children with cp: (1) on spasticity (elbow/wrist/knee/ankle measurement), WSTH shows a decrease HS specifically on the wrist and ankle after WSTH; S results for CAT; (2) on the range of motion, the measurements show a S increase proximally, especially on the UE after WSTH; (3) on the active trunk recovery, the WSTH shows an action THS in th12, S in th8 and c7; NS in CAT; (4) on the head control, the results are, after WSTH, HS in flexion/extension/inclinations and S in rotations; they are NS for CAT.ConclusionThe Halliwick method and the WSTH have been proven to be efficient on motor skills; our 4 field studies show significantly better effects with WSTH – probably thanks to “its rotation points” – than with CAT.

【摘要】 湿包疗法治疗特应性皮炎安全有效，但如何合理、有效、安全地使用已经成为临床工作中受关注的问题。为此，我国皮炎湿疹领域部分专家依据国内外研究数据和临床经验，结合中国患者的特点，在深入讨论的基础上制定本共识，涉及湿包疗法的作用机制、适应证和禁忌证、治疗方法、疗效与安全性、特殊人群以及家庭湿包疗法等方面，为临床医生提供具体的指导意见。     

张树泉教授治疗偏头痛临床经验浅议

偏头痛是临床常见疾病,反复发作,严重影响患者生活质量。张树泉教授认为肝郁气滞,血瘀痰阻,上扰清窍,拘挛作痛是偏头痛基本病机,以行气活血,化痰开郁,柔筋缓急,通络止痛为基本治疗大法,在此基础上自拟通窍蠲痛汤加减治疗偏头痛多能取得较显著的疗效。     

恶性腹膜间皮瘤的诊疗现状及进展

恶性腹膜间皮瘤是一种临床罕见，与石棉暴露密切相关的高侵袭性肿瘤。由于前期石棉材料的广泛应用，目前发病率呈明显上升趋势。该病起病隐匿，临床确诊时多为晚期，预后较差，中位生存期仅为12月。恶性腹膜间皮瘤治疗方法主要是肿瘤细胞减灭术联合腹腔热灌注化疗，目前多项免疫及分子靶向治疗正在研究中。本文就恶性腹膜间皮瘤的诊治现状作一综述，以期提高对该病的认识，进而为恶性腹膜间皮瘤的诊治提供参考。     

Hepatic epithelioid hemangioendothelioma: Update on diagnosis and therapy

With an estimated incidence of only 1-2 cases in every 1 million people, hepatic epithelioid hemangioendothelioma (HEHE) is a rare vascular endothelial cell tumor occurring in the liver and consisting of epithelioid and histiocyte-like vascular endothelial cells in mucus or a fibrotic matrix. HEHE is characterized as a low-to-moderate grade malignant tumor and is classified into three types: solitary, multiple, and diffuse. Both the etiology and characteristic clinical manifestations of HEHE are unclear. However, HEHE has a characteristic appearance on imaging including ultrasound, magnetic resonance imaging, and positron emission tomography/computerized tomography. Still, its diagnosis depends mainly on pathological findings, with immunohistochemical detection of endothelial markers cluster of differentiation 31 (CD31), CD34, CD10, vimentin, and factor VIII antigen as the basis of diagnosis. Hepatectomy and/or liver transplantation are the first choice for treatment, but various chemotherapeutic drugs are reportedly effective, providing a promising treatment option. In this review, we summarize the literature related to the diagnosis and treatment of HEHE, which provides future perspectives for the clinical management of HEHE.     

SCI源期刊近5年关于针刺偏头痛的RCT类研究

目的:通过分析SCI源论文为今后的临床研究提供借鉴、参考;方法:通过Pub Med数据库检索近5年偏头痛的SCI源论文,分析其中的临床治疗类论文(即RCT类论文),进行归纳整理、总结分析。结果:①SCI源论文中假针刺组的设置没有统一的标准,具有随意性;②SCI源论文中对针刺治疗偏头痛疗效有客观指标进行评估;③针刺的安全性及紧急治疗需要列入考虑。结论:针刺治疗对照组的设置仍需进一步的考量与完善。客观评价指标的出现是一大进步,但检查指标还需要更多的试验甚至多中心的试验进行验证。     

Plant extract incorporated into glass ionomer cement as a photosensitizing agent for antimicrobial photodynamic therapy on Streptococcus mutans

BackgroundA plant extract (EB) incorporated into glass ionomer cement (GIG) could be a potential photosensitizer for Antimicrobial PDT (aPDT) against caries-microorganisms, replacing methylene blue (MB), due to the presence of chlorophyll. GIC + EB + aPDT could be an therapeutic alternative to dentin decontamination and sealing, allowing reduction of operative time.ObjectiveEvaluate Dioscorea altissima (EB) incorporated into GIC as a photosensitizer for aPDT against Streptococcus mutans.MethodsGroups (n = 24; ntotal = 192): G1-GIC; G2-GIC + LASER; G3-GIC/EB; G4-GIC/EB + LASER; G5-GIC+MB; G6-GIC + aPDT; G7-GIC/EB + MB; and G8 – GIC/EB+aPDT. In aPDT groups, MB was the photosensitizer. In LASER groups, MB was not used. The irradiation protocol was 660 nm/100 mW/5 J/150 J/cm²/50 s, with a 5-min pre-irradiation time for the MB groups. Antibacterial assays were carried out in 24-well microplates. The wells were completed with one milliliter of a S. mutans in BHI at 1.3 × 10⁸ CFU/mL suspension. After incubation, PDT or laser was performed. After MTT bacteria viability test, the data were submitted to the Kolgomorov-Smirnoff normality test, followed by one-way ANOVA and Tukey's posterior test, α < 0.05.ResultsGroup G6 showed significant inhibition (p < 0.001), followed by groups G4, G5, G7, and G8, which did not show significant differences among them (p > 0.05). Groups G2 and G3 also showed similar results (p > 0.05) and were the least active compared to the others.ConclusionsEB potentiated the antimicrobial action of GIC against S. mutans and laser irradiation over GIC/EB presented better antimicrobials results. The results indicate that EB could be a potential photosensitizer for aPDT.
