This paper presents a novel method to determine the relative impact on logical interactions and interrelationships between operations and information systems within a manufacturing environment by formulating an integrated model, in which both operational function and information processing function are modelled and simulated to predict system behaviour and to obtain an optimal solution that maximises system performances. To achieve this, modelling and simulation of a flexible printed circuit board assembly (PCBA) system has been implemented. In this paper, we have developed a production planning and marketing model in unreliable flexible manufacturing systems with inconstant demand rate that its rate depends on the level of advertisement on that product. The proposed model is more realistic and useful from a practical point of view. The flexible manufacturing system is composed of two machines that produce a single product. Markovian models frequently have been used in modeling a wide variety of real-world systems under uncertainties. Therefore, in this paper, the inventory balance equation is represented by a continuous-time model with Markov jump process to take into account machines breakdown. The objective is to minimize the expected total cost of the firm over an infinite time horizon. While the total cost consists of the cost of the product surplus, the cost of the production, and the cost of the advertisement. In the process of finding a solution to the problem, we first characterize an optimal control by a class of linear stochastic system where some parameter values are subject to random jump. By defining quadratic cost functions and characterizing the associated limiting optimal control problem, a discrete-time approximation model and an asymptotic optimal control model are developed. It is clear that such a solution exists and can be obtained as a limit of a monotonic sequence with solving the steady-state Riccati equation.  相似文献

The traditional manufacturing system research literature generally assumed that there was only one feasible process plan for each job. This implied that there was no flexibility considered in the process plan. But, in the modern manufacturing system, most jobs may have a large number of flexible process plans. So, flexible process plans selection in a manufacturing environment has become a crucial problem. In this paper, a new method using an evolutionary algorithm, called genetic programming (GP), is presented to optimize flexible process planning. The flexible process plans and the mathematical model of flexible process planning have been described, and a network representation is adopted to describe the flexibility of process plans. To satisfy GP, it is very important to convert the network to a tree. The efficient genetic representations and operator schemes also have been considered. Case studies have been used to test the algorithm, and the comparison has been made for this approach and genetic algorithm (GA), which is another popular evolutionary approach to indicate the adaptability and superiority of the GP-based approach. The experimental results show that the proposed method ispromising and very effective in the optimization research of flexible process planning.  相似文献

在运行条件下对自动化立体仓库巷道堆垛机进行了振动测试。使用频域分解技术(FDD)和时域随机状态子空间辨识技术(SSI)分别从加速度响应数据提取了堆垛机的工作模态参数,包括固有频率、阻尼比和模态振型。在0~87Hz频带内采用两种不同的模态参数辨识方法估计的5个模态相当一致。分析结果表明:两种辨识算法都是有效的,估计的模态参数是可靠的。分析结果对于堆垛机的动力学修改和运行状态监控有重要的应用价值。  相似文献

In the modern manufacturing system, many flexible manufacturing system and NC machines are introduced to improve the production efficiency. Therefore, most parts have a large number of flexible process plans. However, a part can use only one process plan in the manufacturing process. So, the process planning problem has become a crucial problem in the manufacturing environment. It is a combinatorial optimization problem to conduct operations selection and operations sequencing simultaneously with various constraints deriving from the practical workshop environment as well as the parts to be processed. It is a NP-hard problem. In order to solve this problem effectively, this paper proposes a novel modified particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm to optimize the process planning problem. To improve the performance of the approach, efficient encoding, updating, and random search methods have been developed. To verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed approach, seven cases have been conducted. The proposed algorithm has also been compared with the genetic algorithm and simulated annealing algorithm. The results show that the proposed modified PSO algorithm can generate satisfactory solutions and outperform other algorithms.  相似文献

This paper presents the design, development, and implementation of an integrated control framework that provides a real-time supervisory control model with limited look-ahead capability for flexible manufacturing systems. Control goals and policies are modeled and characterized by a fuzzy rule base, which is integrated with the control model. The framework consists of a finite state machine generator and a controller. The generator model is equipped with an output function and output sets. The controller model has a four-stage decision-making structure. The controller monitors performance measures of the manufacturing system and reacts according to the changes in the system states in order to keep the performance measures at desired levels. The integrated framework has been implemented on a software platform in order to validate its effectiveness. The performance of the framework has been tested on a hypothetical flexible manufacturing system using a simulation .  相似文献
