Recording the war effort: immigrant communities in Latin America and the memory of the Great War

ABSTRACT

This paper aims to analyse the initiatives undertaken by some immigrant communities residing in Latin America to record their mobilisation around the First World War. After the armistice, European communities in Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay and other countries gathered detailed information about their activities during the conflict, published as profusely illustrated books of remembrance, offered to their governments as proof of their loyalty. The article intends to establish the peculiar nature of these publications as records of the war effort, and analyse the agents and processes of their elaboration, and their role as commemorative but also as archival documents.     

美国《图书馆杂志》“年度图书馆”奖获得者服务特色分析

[目的/意义] 对美国《图书馆杂志》从1992年开始设立的"年度图书馆"奖的评选标准以及获奖图书馆的特色服务进行研究，旨在为我国图书馆开展特色化服务提供借鉴。[方法/过程] 通过网络调查法和案例分析法，对2000-2018年获得"年度图书馆"奖的19所图书馆开展的特色服务进行比较分析。[结果/结论] 获奖图书馆的服务特色：重视公民教育，强化教育职能；强调均等服务理念，体现人文关怀；提供多元社区信息服务，参与社区建设；树立品牌意识，打造品牌项目。对我国图书馆界的启示：科学合理地进行角色定位；积极参与社区贫困计划；强化特色服务品牌意识；拓宽合作领域。     

数据管理与数据治理的比较分析及其对制定科学数据开放共享政策的启示

[目的/意义] 比较分析数据管理与数据治理差异与联系，为制定科学数据开放共享政策提供参考。[方法/过程] 运用比较分析法，解析数据管理与数据治理在定义与内涵、功能、目标、原则、焦点领域5个方面的异同，由此解析其对制定我国科学数据开放共享政策的启示。[结果/结论] 数据管理与数据治理在定义与内涵、功能、目标、原则、焦点领域上都有显著差异，但两者也有内在联系。数据治理是成功实施数据管理的关键。认清两者的关系有助于明晰目前我国科学数据管理政策的不足之处，为今后完善科学数据管理办法提供参考，从而规划与制定实用的科学数据开放共享细则。

在浙江私家藏书史上,有关女性藏书的记载不多。但在男性藏书家一统天下的背后,却有不少优秀的女性。本文旨在对这些优秀的女性进行收集和梳理,并对她们在这段辉煌历史中所发挥的作用,进行较深入地分析与探讨。     

Press Credentials and Hybrid Boundary Zones: The Case of WorldNetDaily and the Standing Committee of Correspondents

ABSTRACT

Press credentialing practices are a vital, yet understudied site of scholarly research on journalistic norms and practices. Press credentialing not only structures internal professional hierarchies, but they also signify the boundaries of the journalistic field itself. This paper explores the legal and theoretical implications of press credentialing to cover the United States Congress, drawing on the concepts of boundary work and journalistic authority to demonstrate the material impact of the space between fields on professional legitimation in journalism. Using WorldNetDaily (WND) as a case study, I argue that the Standing Committee of Correspondents (SCC) occupies a hybrid boundary zone between the journalistic and political fields, generating a unique tension in First Amendment jurisprudence that places journalists in a paradoxical role as both the professional embodiments of free speech and its constitutional steward. The resulting jurisdictional conflict between the SCC and WND extends the relational model of journalistic authority by articulating how journalist-state relations can fundamentally augment the process of legitimation at its fuzzy boundaries. The relevance and implications for press credentialing practices in the digital age are discussed.     

唐诗知识图谱的构建及其智能知识服务设计

[目的/意义]立足于当前大数据环境下的唐诗知识服务需求，以大规模唐诗数据为基础构建唐诗知识图谱并提供智能知识服务，推动人工智能环境下唐诗知识管理和知识服务方式的创新。[方法/过程]本文在对领域知识服务需求调研的基础上，设计领域知识服务驱动的唐诗本体模型，然后利用从Web上爬取的多源异构数据，采用知识抽取、知识融合、知识推理等技术自动构建唐诗知识图谱，统一表示和组织唐诗领域数据，实现对大规模唐诗数据的语义化处理。[结果/结论]本文设计基于唐诗知识图谱的智能知识服务平台KnowPoetry，提供唐诗领域的知识探索、时空轨迹、语义查询等智能化知识服务，推动人工智能环境下唐诗数字人文研究方法的创新转型。     

Assessing Determinants of Perceived Ease of Use of Institutional Repositories by Lecturers in Nigerian Universities

Abstract

Institutional repositories (IRs) present platform to disseminate research findings to complement the traditional scholarly communication model. The use of IRs is beneficial to authors, host institutions, libraries and society at large. Despite the numerous benefits of IRs, there is low deposit of scholarly works by lecturers and the investment on IRs seems to be a waste. This study examined determinants of perceived ease of use (PEOU) of IRs by lecturers in Nigerian universities. A survey of lecturers received 857 respondents. Awareness, anchor and adjustment factors were found to be determinants of PEOU of Institutional repositories by lecturers in Nigerian Universities.     

“健康中国2030”战略下健康数据协同治理体系研究

[目的/意义] 提升公民健康水平是经济社会发展到一定程度后的必然要求，健康数据协同治理体系的构建有助于从信息科学角度达成这一要求，治理体系需要以国家战略为宏观指导，全方位服务于公民健康水平提升的总体目标。[方法/过程] 通过对《"健康中国2030"规划纲要》文本精神的领会，在分析了各治理主体对健康信息治理需求的基础上，提出一种面向"健康中国2030"战略的健康数据协同治理体系，并针对关键环节提出保障措施。[结果/结论] 协调各层级、各部门与各利益主体的健康数据治理体系构建与保障，有助于在推动国家健康战略目标的同时实现健康数据的社会价值，拓展健康信息学的研究范畴。

《放妻书》是唐代敦煌地区出现的一种特别的离婚协议形式,它所反映的是一种唐代特有的"和离"制度,男女双方以"两愿离"的方式和平离婚。通过对《放妻书》文本的分析,本文阐明了《放妻书》可能的形成条件及其折射的唐代社会风貌。同时,基于对《放妻书》的分析,本文将探讨其与现代离婚声明之间的联系,并进一步提出,无论是《放妻书》还是现代离婚声明,它们都是发布者塑造和维护自身"人设"的媒介工具。     

佉卢文书所见鄯善王施政特点

鄯善乃西域古国之一,新疆出土的佉卢文书多涉及其国政治、经济、军事、文化和法律等诸多方面的问题,这批文书很好地反映了鄯善王的施政特点:鄯善王通过在全国建立严密的行政管理系统,使用严格细致的法律体系,再加上极力武装的胜兵体制、“专车”专用的交通制度以及事无巨细的统一管理使得鄯善逐渐富裕,成为西域城邦大国之一。
