A stable silica sol with 3-5 nm in diameter, which can form homogeneous film without crack, was prepared and characterized. Then, the inorganic-organic hybrid aqueous dispersion composed of such a silica sol and an emulsion of styrene (St) and acrylate (Ac) copolymer was prepared and the hybrid effect between the silica sol and poly(St-co-Ac) was observed by Fourier transform infra-red (FT-IR) spectroscope. The toughness of the film prepared by this kind of hybrid aqueous dispersion was excellent, as it was enhanced appreciably by commixing with a small amount of poly(St-co-Ac) emulsion. Some amino-polysiloxane modified hybrid aqueous dispersions were also prepared and the properties of the modified dispersions and their films were investigated. The experimental results showed that the film prepared with such an amino-polysiloxane modified hybrid dispersion exhibited excellent hydrophobicity and low surface energy after heat treatment for 1.5 h, during which the formation of the graft copolymer was observed. The surface energy of this film decreases as a result of the enrichment of siloxane segments on the film surface.  相似文献

A fluorine-containing polyacrylate copolymer emulsion was synthesized by a seed emulsion polymerization method, in which methyl methacrylate (MMA) and butyl acrylate (BA) were used as main monomers and hexafluorobutyl methacrylate (HFMA) as fluorine-containing monomer. The structure and properties were characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectrum (FT-IR), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), particle size analysis, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), contact angle (CA), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and thermogravimetry (TG) analysis. The FTIR and TEM results showed that HFMA was effectively involved in the emulsion copolymerization, and the formed emulsion particles had a core-shell structure and a narrow particle size distribution. XPS and CA analysis revealed that a gradient concentration of fluorine existed in the depth profile of fluorine-containing emulsion film which was richer in fluorine and more hydrophobic in one side. DSC and TG analysis also showed that a clear core-shell structure existed in the fluorine-containing emulsion particles, and their film showed higher thermal stability than that of fluorine-free emulsion.  相似文献

A novel polymer/SiO2 hybrid emulsion (PAES) was prepared by directly mixing colloidal silica with polyacrylate emulsion (PAE) modified by a saline coupling agent. The sol-gel-derived thin films were obtained by addition of co-solvents into the PAES. The effects of γ-methacryloxypropyltrimethoxysilane (KH-570) content and co-solvent on the properties of PAES films were investigated. Dynamic laser scattering (DLS) data indicate that the average diameter of PAES (96 nm) is slightly larger than that of PAE (89 nm). Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) photo discloses that colloidal silica particles are dispersed uniformly around polyacrylate particles and some of the colloidal silica particles are adsorbed on the surface of PAE particles. The crosslinking degree data and Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) spectra confirm that the chemical structure of the PAES is changed to form Si-O-Si-polymer crosslinking networks during the film formation. Atomic force microscope (AFM) photos show the solvent induced sol-gel process of colloidal silica and the Si-based polymer distribution on the film surface of the dried PAES. Thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) curves demonstrate that the PAES films display much better thermal stability than PAE.  相似文献

A poly (St-co-BA) latex was successfully synthesized by using an organic-inorganic hybrid compound (OIHC), an aliphatic carboxylate sodium/nano-silica composite, as the emulsifier, and investigated by particle size analyzer, transmission electron microscope (TEM), optical contact angle measurement (OCA) and dynamic mechanical analyzer (DMA). It was found that the protective agent, sodium polyacrylate (PA),could obviously improve the polymerization stability and the functional monomer, glycidyl methacrylate (GMA), could enhance the store stability of the latex. The particle size of poly(St-co-BA) latex decreased and then leveled off as OIHC content increased. TEM shows that the prepared polymers were a~:tually organic-inorganic nanocomposites, and these films have better waterproof property than those prepared by traditional poly(St-co-BA) latex or organic silicone modified poly(St-co-BA) latex. The nanocomposite polymer has much higher glass transition temperature than organic silicone modified poly(St-co-BA) polymer containing the same organic silicone content.  相似文献

Synthesis, Structure and Properties of Fluorinated Thermoplastic Elastomer
Abstract: This paper described the synthesis methods of block and graft structure type fluorinated thermoplastic elastomer, and introduced the structure characteristics, properties and application of commercial fluorinated thermoplastic elastomer. The block copolymer which was prepared using VDF copolymer as soft segment and PVDF as hard segment by active free radical polymerization had micro phase separation characteristics with the copolymer which had graft copolymer chain which was formed using VDF copolymer containing peroxide group grafting PVDF, was top grade thermoplastic elastomer material which had elasticity at room temperature, and could melt process at high temperature, which had applications in chemical industry, semiconductor industry, electronic and electrical industry.  相似文献

N-isopropylacrylamide (NIPAAm) was used to synthesize NIPAAm homopolymer (nonionized) and NIPAAm-sodium methacrylate copolymer (ionized). The swelling equilibria for both gels were obtained in aqueous solution of ethanol with concentration ranging from 0 to 100%(by mass) at 25℃. The swollen gel in water shrank first with the addition of a small amount of ethanol and then reswelled with further addition of ethanol showing not only a discontinuous volume phase transition but also a typical reentrant phenomenon. A thermodynamic model based on the UNIQUAC with the “free-volume“ contribution was applied to correlate and predict the swelling behavior of the poly(NIPAAM)-gels in ethanol-water mixture.  相似文献

A series of cross-linked polyether-polyester polyurethane dispersions modified with organosiloxane were prepared based on hydroxyl-terminated polydimethylsiloxane (HTPS) as hydrophobic component and 3-aminopropyl-triethoxysilane (APTS) as cross-linker as well as a bridge between polyurethane (PU) and polysiloxane (PSIL). It was discovered that polydimethylsiloxane segments were incorporated into PU chains chemically and organosiloxane was preferentially oriented toward the surface layer of the film by making a comparison of attenuated total reflection (ATR) spectra between the copolymer and the blend of PU and PSIL, which was further confirmed by investigation of electron spectroscopy for chemical analysis (ESCA). The relationships between surface properties of the film formed from polyurethane dispersion and organosiloxane content were also studied. The results showed that water contact angle of the film increased with the increase of organosiloxane content. Interestingly, it was also found that water contact angle of PUS film increased firstly and then decreased when film-forming temperature varied from 25℃ to 55℃.  相似文献

Production of 6-aminopenicillanic acid (6-APA) by hydrolysis using penicillin acylase (PA) was studied as a model of an enzymatic emulsion liquid membrane (ELM) process. The loss of PA activity was examined for various membrane compositions (organic solvent, surfactant, carrier). The effects of some experimental variables on the stability of emulsion were investigated. It was found that the choice of organic solvent greatly affected tilestability of the emulsion. Increasing the concentration of the carrier in the membrane phase increases the transfer rate of substrate and products but also has a destabilizing effect on the emulsion. The recovery of 6-APA obtained by a di-carrier system (N263-N1923) was much higher than those when either of the di-carriers was used separately.The whole process was controlled both by the enzymatic reaction rate and by the transfer rate of the substrate and the products, however, the ratio of them could be changed by varying the composition of the system. For an optimum condition, it was obtained that the recovery ratio of 6-APA was over 80% and the conversion of benzyl penicillin (PG) was up to 90% in the external phase after 30 minutes. Meanwhile, the breakage percentage of the emulsion was less than 2%.  相似文献

The rubber composites with good thermal conductivity contribute to heat dissipation of tires. Graphite filled natural rubber composites were developed in this study to provide good thermal conductivity. Graphite was coated with polyacrylate polymerized by monomers including methyl methacrylate, n-butyl acrylate and acrylic acid. The ratios between a filler and acrylate polymerization emulsion and those between monomers were varied. Eight types of surface modification formulas were experimentally investigated. Modification formula can affect coating results and composite properties greatly. The best coating type was achieved by a ratio of 1:1 between methyl methacrylate and n-butyl acrylate. The coating of graphite was thermal y stable in a running tire. Filled with modified graphite, the tire thermal conductivity reached up to 0.517–0.569 W·m-1·K-1. In addition, the mechanical performance was improved with increased crosslink density, extended scorch time and short vulcanization time.  相似文献

Magnetic starch microspheres(AAM-MSM) were synthesized via an inverse emulsion graft copolymerization by using mechanically activated cassava starch(MS) as a crude material, acrylic acid(AA) and acrylamide(AM) as graft copolymer monomers, and methyl methacrylate(MMA) as the dispersing agent and used as an adsorbent for the removal of Cd(II) ions from aqueous solution. Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS), scanning electron microscopy(SEM), and vibrating sample magnetometry(VSM) were used to characterize the AAM-MSM adsorbent. The results indicated that AA, AM, and MMA were grafted to the MS, and the Fe_3 O_4 nanoparticles were encapsulated in the AAM-MSM adsorbent microspheres.The adsorbent exhibited a smooth surface, uniform size, and good sphericity because of the addition of the MMA and provided more adsorption sites for the Cd(II) ions. The maximum adsorption capacity of Cd(II) on the AAM-MSM was 39.98 mg·g~(-1). The adsorbents were superparamagnetic, and the saturation magnetization was 16.7 A·m~2·kg~(-1). Additionally, the adsorption isotherms and kinetics of the adsorption process were further investigated. The process of Cd(II) ions adsorbed onto the AAM-MSM could be described more favorably by the pseudo-second-order kinetic and Langmuir isothermal adsorption models, which suggested that the chemical reaction process dominated the adsorption process for the Cd(II) and chemisorption was the rate-controlling step during the Cd(II) removal process.  相似文献

以2种不同玻璃化转变温度的乳液共混作为成膜物质,加入防火助剂、无机填料和增强材料,制备了一种水性防火阻尼双功能涂料。采用防火性能测试装置、动态黏弹谱仪(DMA)和扫描电镜(SEM)等手段研究了乳液和碱式硫酸镁晶须(MHSH)对涂料防火及阻尼性能的影响。结果表明:低玻璃化转变温度乳液的加入可以提高涂料低温区的阻尼性能,但会降低涂料的防火性能。在此基础上加入适量MHSH,涂料的防火性能和阻尼性能均有提升。当乳液加入量为24%,MHSH加入量为3%时,可得到防火和阻尼综合性能均较优的双功能涂料。  相似文献

The silica sol/fluoroacrylate core?Cshell nanocomposite emulsion was successfully synthesized via traditional emulsion polymerization through grafting of KH-570 onto silica particles. Comparing the performance of the polyacrylate copolymer, the fluorinated polyacrylate copolymer and the silica sol/fluoroacrylate core?Cshell nanocomposite emulsion, we can come to a conclusion that the silica sol/fluoroacrylate core?Cshell nanocomposite emulsion presents significantly excellent performance in all aspects. The products were characterized by Fourier transform infrared (FTIR), photon correlation spectroscopy (PCS), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), thermogravimetry (TGA), Contact angle and UV?Cvis analyses techniques. The chemical structure of polyacrylate copolymer, fluorinated polyacrylate copolymer and silica sol/fluoroacrylate nanocomposite were detected by FTIR. The size and stability of emulsion latex particles were determined by PCS technique. TEM analysis confirmed that the resultant latex particle has the core?Cshell structure, obviously. The water absorption and contact angle data also showed that the silica sol/fluoroacrylate nanocomposite film has good hydrophobic performance. TGA analysis indicated the weight loss of the silica sol/fluoroacrylate nanocomposite film begins at around 350?°C which testifies its good thermal stability. The UV?Cvis spectroscopy analysis showed that the silica sol/fluoroacrylate nanocomposite film possess UV?Cvis shielding effect when the added volume amount of KH570 modified silica sol is up to 5?mL. Therefore, the excellent properties of hydrophobicity, thermodynamics and resistance to ultraviolet provide the silica sol/fluoroacrylate nanocomposite film with potential applications in variety fields. In addition, the formation mechanism of core?Cshell structure silica sol/fluoroacrylate nanocomposite latex particles was speculated.  相似文献

采用经典的St(o)ber法在常温下制备纳米级硅溶胶,用3-(甲基丙烯酰氧)丙基三甲氧基硅烷对其改性.在阴离子乳化剂和非离子乳化剂共同存在下,通过乳液聚合制备了硅溶胶/含氟聚丙烯酸酯复合乳液.表征了乳胶粒形貌,测试了共聚物组成及性能、乳液稳定性和乳胶膜性能.结果表明:乳胶粒有明显的核壳结构,乳液有良好的储存稳定性、稀释稳定性、高温和低温稳定性;硅溶胶/含氟聚丙烯酸酯复合乳胶膜吸水率达12.50%,对水的接触角为93 5°;复合物的热稳定性高于普通聚丙烯酸酯共聚物和含氟聚丙烯酸酯共聚物.  相似文献

High internal phase emulsion (HIPE) copolymer and interpenetrating network foams were prepared from 2‐ethylhexyl acrylate (EHA), styrene (S) and divinylbenzene (DVB) using a unique process. The morphologies, thermal properties and dynamic and static mechanical properties of these foams were investigated. The glass transition temperatures and damping properties of the EHA/S copolymer foams vary with its composition. IPN foams with very broad tan 5 peaks were obtained. The damping properties of IPN foams were tailored through changing copolymer composition and monomer composition. The IPN foams based on a copolymer foam and styrene had a broader tan δ peak, a higher glass transition temperature and a higher modulus than tne copolymer foams of similar overall styrene contents. It is therefore possible to prepare novel damping foams based on polyHIPE foams through the synthesis of interpenetrating polymer networks.  相似文献

将乙二醇二缩水甘油醚分散在水中制成环氧化合物乳液,并以其为交联剂,用以对丙烯酸系单体/胺基单体乳液共聚物的改性,制成了双组分室温固化乳液涂料。研究了乳化剂种类和胺基单体用量对聚合稳定性的影响,结果表明,若采用p 壬基酚聚氧化乙烯醚硫酸钠为乳化剂,且胺基单体用量低于单体总量2 5%时,可以制得稳定的带胺基的共聚物乳液。将丙烯酸系共聚物乳液和环氧乳液复合并在室温下干燥成膜,通过对聚合物膜的DSC和力学性能测试均表明,双组分体系在成膜过程中发生了交朕反应,而未加环氧化合物的单组分聚合物乳液成膜时则不发生交联。  相似文献

该文首先合成了聚硅氧烷阴离子乳液和链中含硅烷偶联剂的(甲基)丙烯酸酯聚合物乳液两种不同的乳液,然后通过乳液接枝共聚的方法,利用硅烷偶联剂水解基团与聚硅氧烷正离子之间的反应合成了一种高硅含量的硅丙聚合物乳液。测试结果表明,有机硅质量分数为20%的聚合物乳液涂膜性能最佳,与不含有机硅的聚合物乳液涂膜相比,其水表面接触角由 77.5。增加到95。,24小时吸水率由4.9%下降到2.3%,耐水性大大增加,同时玻璃化转变温度由8.53℃下降到-1.36℃,聚合物分子链的柔顺性有所提高,说明此方法合成的高硅含量硅丙乳液涂膜可作为一类具有优良耐水性及良好的表面疏水性的功能材料得以应用。  相似文献

A theoretical analysis and a morphological prediction of polyacrylate (PA)/polysiloxane (PSi) latex particles with core/shell morphologies were first conducted based on interfacial tensions and relative volumes of the two polymers in the latex system. The results indicated that the normal core/shell morphology particles (PSi/PA), with hydrophobic polysiloxane as the core and with hydrophilic polyacrylate as the shell, can be easily formed. Although the inverted core/shell morphology particles (PA/PSi) with polyacrylate as the core could not be formed in most cases, even if the fraction volume of polysiloxane was larger than 0.872, which is the smallest value of forming a PA/PSi particle, the PSi/PA particles were unavoidably formed simultaneously with PA/PSi particle formation. The synthesis of PA/PSi particles containing equal amounts of polyacrylate and polysiloxane was then carried out using seeded emulsion polymerization. Before the cyclosiloxane cationic polymerization, 3‐methacryloyloxypropyl trimethoxysilane (MATS) was introduced into the polyacrylate seed latex to form an intermediate layer and chemical bonds between the core and the shell polymers. The characterization by transmission electron microscopy (TEM) demonstrated that the perfect PA/PSi core/shell particle is successfully synthesized when both the core and the shell polymers are crosslinked. The experiments showed that both the hardness and water adsorption ratio characteristics of latex films of the PA/PSi particles are in good agreement with those of the polysiloxane film. © 2001 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
