利用天然橡胶(NR)与环氧化天然橡胶(ENR)良好的相容性,以及不同环氧化程度的ENR的玻璃化温度(Tg)梯度差异,选用NR和3种不同环氧化程度的ENR(ENR-25,环氧化程度为25%;ERN-40,环氧化程度为40%;ENR-50,环氧化程度为50%)制得NR/ENR-25/ENR-40/ENR-50四元并用阻尼材料,研究由于NR和各ENR的Tg和用量差异产生的阻尼加和效应对并用胶在室温及以上温度的阻尼温域的拓宽情况。结果表明,当NR/ENR-25/ENR-40/ENR-50并用比为55/5/15/25,同时添加40份炭黑N330时,四元并用胶具有较好的综合性能,其有效阻尼温域(损耗因子大于0.3)为66℃(-15.3~50.7℃),拉伸强度可达17.2 MPa,拉断伸长率为571%。 相似文献

At present, the rubber toughening of plastics has become an attractive field of study in polymer science and technology because brittleness is known to be a drawback in many engineering plastics; it can cause premature failure during application. Among existing rubber materials, epoxidized natural rubber (ENR) has been widely used as an impact modifier or toughening agent in a large number of engineering plastics; in particular, it enhances the impact strength, which deteriorates with the incorporation of other additives, such as fillers and flame retardants. ENR is a modification product from natural rubber produced via an epoxidation reaction. ENR also has good chemical resistance. Telechelic oligoisoprenes were successfully prepared by the selective controlled degradation of natural rubber, a renewable source, via epoxidation and cleavage reactions. The molar mass of the oligoisoprene product obtained depends on the degree of epoxidation of the starting materials. The chemically modified structures obtained via epoxidation, hydrogenation, and ring opening of epoxide groups were also studied, and the chemical structures and thermal properties of the oligoisoprene products were determined. Moreover, the preliminary study of preparation of hydroxytelechelic natural rubber (HTNR)‐based polyurethane foam was performed. A novel HTNR‐based polyurethane foam was successfully prepared and its thermal properties were investigated and the results indicated that the HTNR‐based polyurethane foam has a good low temperature flexibility. © 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Studies in the epoxidation of natural rubber latices are described. Investigated epoxidation routes include the use of bromohydrin intermediates, hydrogen-peroxide-catalyzed systems, and preformed peracetic acid. The latter reagent allows almost quantitative epoxidation of natural rubber up to high modification levels with no detectable side reactions. Kinetic studies show that the peracetic acid epoxidation is second order in peracid and rubber hydrocarbon with an overall activation energy of 56.2 kJ/mol. Epoxidation leads to a progressive increase in Tg and polymer density with increase in modification level. The effect of modification on solvent swelling and mechanical properties of the DICUP-crosslinked rubbers are reported. 相似文献

Epoxidation has been applied to modify the surface of natural rubber laces. When very thin laces of fractionated bleached rubber are used, about 6% of the double bonds could be modified. Using 1H nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) and infrared (IR) analysis the best condition for the reaction was worked out. Both 13C NMR and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) results indicate that the 6% epoxide groups are placed in a predominantly block manner. Modification in yellow fraction rubber however gives lower epoxy contents. Increase in glass transition tempreature by epoxidation results in more damping and better abrasion resistance. The resultant polymer acts very similar to a 90/10 natural rubber/50% epoxidized natural rubber (NR/ENR-50) blend. 相似文献
