Assignment of signals in aliphatic region of 1H NMR spectrum for epoxidized natural rubber was carried out through NMR spectroscopy. The epoxidized natural rubber was prepared by epoxidation of purified natural rubber with peracetic acid in latex stage followed by degradation with propanal and ammonium persulfate. The resulting liquid epoxidized natural rubber was characterized through 1D- and 2D-NMR spectroscopy. The unknown signals in the aliphatic region of the 1H NMR spectrum were assigned through 13C NMR and two-dimensional heteronuclear shift correlation (HETCOR) measurement. The assignments were proved by two-dimensional inverse detected heteronuclear long-range shift correlation (HMBC) and two-dimensional homonuclear shift correlation (COSY) measurements, and they were supported with epoxidized squalene as a model compound through NMR spectroscopy. 相似文献

Reaction between epoxidized natural rubber and poly(L ‐lactide) (PLLA) was investigated quantitatively in terms of conversion of the epoxidized natural rubber. The epoxidized natural rubber was prepared by epoxidation of high ammonia natural rubber (HA‐NR) or deproteinized natural rubber (DPNR) with peracetic acid followed by depolymerization with ammonium persulfate. The resulting liquid HA‐NR having epoxy group (LENR) or liquid DPNR having epoxy group (LEDPNR) were subjected to heating at 473 K for 20 min, after blending with PLLA. The products were characterized through morphology observation, DSC measurement, and 1H‐NMR spectroscopy. The conversions of the rubbers were estimated from intensity ratio of signals in 1H‐NMR spectrum for the products after removing unreacted rubber with toluene. Difference in the estimated conversion between the LENR/PLLA and LEDPNR/PLLA blends was interpreted in relation to proteins present in the rubber. © 2009 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. 利用环氧化天然胶乳作为硅藻土的界面改性剂,制备了硅藻土/天然橡胶复合材料,通过无转子流变仪、电子万能材料试验机和橡胶动态压缩生热仪,研究了复合材料的硫化特性,物理机械性能和温升特性。结果表明,硅藻土/天然橡胶复合材料的焦烧与正硫化时间随着硅藻土含量的增加,先增后减;最大与最小扭矩随硅藻土含量的增加而增加;硅藻土/天然橡胶复合材料的拉伸与撕裂强度均有提高,当硅藻土含量为4phr时,拉伸强度最高,为28.5MPa;当硅藻土的含量为2phr时,撕裂强度最高,为37.9N/mm;由于硅藻土的加入,材料的内生热显著降低。 相似文献

The present work highlights the preparation of the epoxidized natural rubber conjugated spent coffee biocomposites (ENR-g-SC) via one-pot synthesis to control petroleum oil spills. The structural determination of the spent coffee grafted epoxidized natural rubber (ENR-g-SC) was confirmed through FTIR and 1H-NMR spectroscopic analyses. The thermal performance, tensile tests, and morphological properties of the synthesized (ENR-g-SC) biocomposites were performed. The data revealed that ENR-g-SC biocomposite with 20 phr of spent coffee (SC) exhibited the highest tensile properties due to maximal chemical linkages of spent coffee and epoxide groups in ENR. The epoxidized natural rubber conjugated spent coffee copolymers were evaluated as oil sorbers for oil absorbency applications in chloroform, toluene, and 10% crude petroleum diluted with toluene. The data revealed that the oil absorbency increased slightly with chloroform or toluene instead of 10% crude oil diluted with toluene. Furthermore, swelling and network parameters including the maximum oil absorbency (Qmax), swelling rate constant (k), polymer-solvent interaction (χ), effective crosslink density (ύe), equilibrium modulus of elasticity (GT), and average molecular weight between crosslinks (Mc) and theoretical crosslink density (ύt) were determined, and correlated to the efficiency of the synthesized epoxidized natural rubber conjugated spent coffee. 相似文献

The processability characteristics and physico‐mechanical properties of natural rubber (NR) modified with raw rubber seed oil and epoxidized rubber seed oil have been studied. The modified mixes showed higher scorch time and lower cure rate, crosslink density, and ultimate state of cure compared to an unmodified mix.
