Complex reaction schemes in heterogeneous, homogeneous or enzymatic catalysis often contain reaction routes, which do not result in chemical transformations. Existence of these empty routes imposes thermodynamic constraints on the values of kinetic parameters, e.g. rate coefficients in the steps, which constitute the empty routes. The polycrystalline ceramic specimens of three different alumino-silicate solid solutions (Al0.70Si0.30O, Al0.73Si0.27O and Al0.75Si0.25O) consisting of different alumina and silica concentrations have been synthesized by thermal plasma sintering technique. From structural analysis carried out by X-ray diffraction, the ceramics are mostly found to consist of two different phases of mullite and sillimanite. SEM images of these ceramics reveal a high dense and less porous microstructure with homogeneous distribution of grains throughout their surface. These materials exhibit high dielectric constant value (>103) with low dissipation factor. The AC conductivity analysis reveals that Al0.70Si0.30O and Al0.75Si0.25O ceramics possess room temperature conductivity values of the order of 10?5, whereas Al0.73Si0.27O has conductivity of 10?7 order that increases with rise in temperature. From the Nyquist plots, the grain and grain boundary conductivities are distinguished and negative temperature coefficient of resistance behavior is identified in these ceramics with small positive temperature coefficient of resistance effect. 相似文献

本文研究了几种无机 有机复合粒子与聚氯乙烯共混复合材料力学性能的变化规律。结果表明 :SiO2 /HPMC PMMA(SiO2 经SDS预处理 )和HPMC g PMMA使材料力学性能下降 ,而SiO2 /HPMC PMMA(未经SDS处理 )、TiO2 /HPMC PMMA、ZnO/HPMC PMMA复合粒子使材料的力学性能有所提高。经柔性设计后的SiO2 /HPMC PBA/PMMA和ZnO/HPMC PBA/PMMA使材料的冲击强度提高的幅度更大。SEM提供的证据也表明 :ZnO复合粒子使材料出现较好的塑性变形 ;经柔性设计的SiO2 复合粒子比未经柔性设计的SiO2 复合粒子使材料的塑性变形也更加显著 相似文献

The use of non-viral delivery systems has numerous advantages in the area of gene therapy as this approach could circumvent the safety issues that may occur when using viral vectors. Hydrophobically modified chitosan containing five deoxycholic acid groups per 100 anhydroglucose units was synthesized to prepare self-aggregated nanoparticles in aqueous media and utilized to form complexes with plasmid DNA. Formation and various characteristics of DNA/chitosan self-aggregate complexes were investigated by electrophoresis, zeta potential measurement, and dynamic light scattering method. It was hypothesized that complex formation between DNA and chitosan self-aggregates can be strongly dependent on the charge ratio, pH, and incubation time. Migration of DNA on an agarose gel was completely retarded over a charge ratio (+/−) of 4/1 at pH 7.2, and the mean diameter of the complexes was determined to be 350 nm with unimodal size distribution (+/−=4/1; pH 7.2; incubation time, 30 min). The complex formation behavior was also regulated by pH of the media. The incubation time was unlikely to be the critical factor affecting the complex formation behavior due to the instant electrostatic interactions between negatively charged DNA and positively charged chitosan self-aggregates. This approach to controlling the characteristics of DNA/self-aggregate complexes could be critical in the design and tailoring of novel gene delivery systems using non-viral vectors. 相似文献
