IP QoS标准进展

由于电信级IP QoS是实现多业务网络的关键技术,文章分别介绍了国际上主要标准组织IETF、Internet2、ETSI、ITU-T在IPQoS标准化方面的进展,给出了中国IP QoS的研究现状,阐明了IP QoS的研究前景.     

城域IP网的QoS实施策略

目前,我国各大电信运营商都在进行大规模的城域IP网的建设,如何提供具有QoS保证的IP业务问题也就接踵而至。本文在IPQoS的定义及其体系结构论述的基础上,就MPLS与IntServ及DiffServ相结合在实施IPQoS方面的一些措施和方案进行了探讨,并提出了城域IP网QoS的实施策略,以供服务提供商参考。

信息网络时代促使服务经济转向体验经济,IP网络的QoS越来越受到业界的关注.从研究IP网络QoS的评价方法出发,分别介绍了国际上主要标准组织ITU-T、ETSI、IETF、TMF在IP网络QoS标准化方面的进展,并重点解析了QoS的概念、IP网络QoS的分类和模型,阐明了IP网络QoS评价方法的研究方向.     

控制功能在NGN QoS架构中的实现

下一代网络必然是以基于IP的分组交换为核心的网络,为IP网络提供严格的Qos保证是NGN的必然要求,而引入控制机制、加强控制功能是实现IPQoS的关键所在。在给出NGN的QoS需求和QoS参考模型的基础上,对网络的QoS控制方式以及具有研究前景的几种QoS控制模型的思路、优缺点及可行性进行了分析。     

IP网络的QoS研究

针对目前国内外IPQoS的研究现状及IP网络存在的不足,提出了研究IP网络QoS所需要解决的问题,并着重研究了基于MPLS的下一代网络模型,它是一种将IntServ模型、DiffServ模型与MPLS技术相结合的模型,该模型着眼于全局网络,能够提供完全的端到端的QoS保证。

UTRAN QoS的性能分析

对IP电话、视频电话、网络浏览及FTP业务进行了仿真分析。基于仿真结果,分析研究了ATMQoS和IPQoS的实现对应用层的QoS的影响、不同的无线连接方式对QoS的影响、采用不同带宽的无线链路应用层对QoS的影响以及拥塞对应用层QoS的影响。     

IP网络中的QoS

IP网络上多媒体业务的出现对IP环境中的服务质量(QoS)提出了更高的要求,IPQoS是指IP数据流通过网络时的性能,其目的是向用户业务提供端到端的服务质量保证。本文简要介绍了实现以太网QoS业务保证的技术原理和在实际工程中的应用。     

基于策略的QoS管理技术及其在宽带业务中的应用

本文从IPQoS技术发展及国外运营商的QoS解决思路角度出发,引出基于策略的QoS管理技术.在此基础上提出了广义的基于策略的QoS管理概念。阐述了宽带业务基于策略的QoS管理的需求,基于策略的QoS管理系统部署及在宽带业务中的应用。展望了基于策略的QoS管理的发展方向。

目前各大通信运营商已经建立了IP化核心网,并向全网IP化阶段演进,QoS技术是IP网络发展的重要基础技术之一,既要加强研究又要注重实用性。本文从QoS技术在3G业务IP网络上的应用出发,分析了3G的IP承载网QoS保证机制及其可靠性。     

Managing IP traffic in radio access networks of next-generation mobile systems

The strong research, standardization, and development activity currently focusing on the enabling technologies for the transition to a new generation of mobile networks represent a great opportunity to accomplish the goal of IP multimedia service provisioning to mobile users. This will contribute to the migration toward an all-IP platform with guaranteed end-to-end QoS provisioning, and will definitively fuel the deployment of new multimedia mobile applications and the further development of multimedia ubiquitous communications. This objective is not easily achievable, mainly due to the difficulties in handling IP multimedia applications in a mobile environment with a guaranteed QoS level. To contribute to this issue, in this article we discuss an evolutionary scenario from the current UMTS system to a next-generation QoS-aware mobile platform based on IP as the transport solution in the radio access network, UTRAN. Furthermore, we propose to fit the IntServ-over-DiffServ approach, in order to best manage the QoS level inside the UTRAN.     

WCDMA CN标准发展研究

本文概述了国际NGN标准化的最新研究进展,从NGN功能模型、NGN需求、NGN的移动性管理要求和框架、NGN的网络管理以及基于IP网络技术的QoS等方面进行了论述.

文章介绍了IP服务质量的研究背景和意义，然后从用户业务流量控制和网络业务管理两个方面剖析了IP服务质量方面的主要技术，讨论了当前的服务质量研究现状和存在的问题，最后指出了该项技术的发展趋势。

QoS Provisioning in Wireless IP Networks

This paper deals with quality of service (QoS) provision in wireless IP networks. QoS provision is particularly challenging in wireless networks, where network resources are generally limited, variable over time and shared. In the design of possible measures to assure QoS one should consider that standardization is well established for the network layer Internet Protocol and for many underlying technologies of frequent use (e.g. IEEE 802.11, BLUETOOTH or HIPERLAN II). Therefore, as far as research on QoS is concerned, there is little room in both the IP and the link-layers for improved IP over wireless interfaces. In this paper we illustrate a solution in which an intermediate Wireless Adaptation Layer (WAL) is transparently interposed between the IP layer and specific link-layer technologies as a solution to provide QoS. The WAL addresses two main issues: (i) compensation for channel impairments in different platforms in order to enhance wireless channel reliability and (ii) implementation of traffic control and packet scheduling mechanisms to satisfy bandwidth and delay requirements, as well as to enforce a general principle of fairness among the IP associations contending for network resources and achieve optimal exploitation of transmission capacity. The WAL consists of a set of modules, each one in charge of a specific task, which can be enabled or disabled depending on the specific network environment. The novelty of the WAL approach is its capability of adapting itself to different wireless interfaces selecting performance enhancing modules for specific networks. This requires to modify the standard TCP/IP protocol stack by introducing an intermediate layer between the IP layer and the Data Link layer, with performance enhancement purposes. This paper focuses on two modules in particular, namely a traffic control module, which is in charge of performing congestion control and channel state dependent scheduling (CSD) packet scheduling, and a forward error correction (FEC) module, which compensates for channel impairments. This paper presents the proposed architecture provided with these modules and reports some measurements and simulations highlighting benefits resulting from the use of such modules.     

网边缘可控的IP QoS体系结构及其算法

IP QoS要求是综合宽带网发展的重要瓶颈,而现有IP QoS体系不能很好地满足用户需求,因此,本研究将对IP QoS体系做一个新探索.依托当前网络环境、着眼于下一代网络发展,研究一种网边缘控制的自组织IP QoS体系结构及其算法.本体系中采用探测分组、染色分组和信息分组三类分组,并通过智能控制系统来控制三类分组的比例关系,有效地提供用户所需求的QoS. 本体系将克服现有机制的流状态保持,并通过用户的自组织行为来加强网络的自适应性与可扩展性,更好适应网络发展与应用需求.     

电信级IP QoS的研究

在网络发展和业务应用需求的双重驱动下,电信级IPQoS作为实现多业务网络的关键技术得到了越来越多的关注。本文针对电信级IPQoS的相关问题,包括电信级IPQoS的必要性、研究和应用的现状、电信级IPQoS的框架模型进行了思考和研究,并对IPQoS的发展趋势进行了展望。     

从公路网的视角看IP QoS

本文从公路网的视角重新认识IP QoS问题,提出了互联网所需要和所能提供的是一种适合的、相对的、统计意义上的IP服务质量保证能力,并分析目前在网络实际应用中有助于改善IP QoS一些方法的成功之处,包括提高网络的硬件通行能力、提供差异化的服务质量保证、提高网络对流量的控制能力,最后讨论公路网对IP QoS下一步研究的一些启示.     

IPTV技术与标准问题探讨

从“TV”的含义、“IP”承载以及“IP与TV”的关系等三个方面分析了IPTV的内涵。通过对内容制作部分、内容集成部分、内客传送部分以及IPTV终端部分的说明。探讨了IPTV体系结构的标准化问题。阐述了IPTV面临的技术挑战：缺乏良好的网络QoS保证：传统的CDN不适用于IPTV；组播技术有待进一步发展；安全以及网络改造问题。
