Routine testing for corrosion and wall thickness reduction in refineries A non-destructive, ultrasonic measuring method is described which permits the determination of actual corrosion and wear rates in containers and piping in the chemical industries, especially in refineries and petro-chemical installations. The paper deals with the inspection method and its accuracy, and with automatic devices and their application to parts of the installation carrying hot steam. A systematic inspection method is recommended. In a specific case, a piping or similar system was to be tested systematically for corrosion wear. From a good local knowledge and experience with fractures and accidents, the zones of maximum stress are known. If it is known, e. g. in a high-pressure steam pipe, where the flows normally occur, the – possibly dangerous – wall thickness reductions can be recognized very quickly, and their magnitude and dangerous character assessed. The paper also deals with operational reliability and with the highly economic prefabrication of spare pieces for parts of the installations exposed to thickness-reducing corrosion; this has the effect of minimizing the interruptions to production. 相似文献

针对目前化工生产过程中主要靠人工击打的方式实现结晶产物从结晶罐内壁剥离脱落的情况,设计一款化工结晶罐体自动击打落料装置。此落料装置采用模拟人工击打落料的工艺,装置整体框架支撑于罐体顶部,依靠驱动轮驱动,实现架体绕罐体的旋转运动,升降机构带动击打锤体上下运动;电控系统采用PLC加触摸屏的控制方式,实现了对罐体表面的自动击打。对击打锤的击打力和结构参数进行了分析计算,在保证足够击打力的情况下,优化了锤的结构。经现场应用,满足了无水三氯化铝的生产要求,为相关产品的设计提供了参考。 相似文献
