Zeolites have been successfully employed in many catalytic reactions of industrial relevance. The severe conditions required in some processes, where high temperatures are frequently combined with the presence of steam, highlight the need of considering the evolution of the catalyst structure during the reaction. This review attempts to summarize the recently developed strategies to improve the hydrothermal framework stability of zeolites.

Nano structured Ni52.6Mn23.7Ga24.3 alloy was prepared using the ball milling technique. High martensitic transition temperatures are observed in the range between 336 and 367 K. The X-ray diffraction profile revealed that annealed Ni–Mn–Ga powder at 1073 K displays mixture phases of austenite and martensite. Annealing at 1173 K induces phase transformation from mixture phase to Heusler L21 structure, which confirms the high-temperature shape memory effect. On the contrary, the milled sample shows no evidence of shape memory effect. Furthermore, annealing at higher temperature (1273 K) shows the accumulation of oxidation, which leads to the loss of shape memory effect. The grain size increases with increasing annealing temperature and causes deterioration in the soft magnetic properties.  相似文献

A one‐pot, multicomponent, convergent microwave synthesis of some new pyranyl‐ and chromenyl‐substituted quinolines has been reported. Twenty compounds were prepared by the reaction of 2‐methoxy‐3‐formyl quinoline ( 1a‐d ), malononitrile ( 2 ), and kojic acid ( 4a‐d )/1,3‐cyclohexadione or dimedone ( 6a ‐ h )/α‐ or β‐naphthol ( 8a ‐ d , 8e ‐ h ). The structures were confirmed by infrared (IR), 1H nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), 13C NMR, mass, and single‐crystal X‐ray analyses. On comparison with the use of conventional Lewis acid catalysts and various metal triflates under microwave conditions, the latter contributed to good yields, in specific use of the recyclable Yb(OTf)3 catalyst attributed to high yields of the desired product. The protocol reported herein is solvent free, cost effective, and eco‐friendly.  相似文献

An expedient route toward the synthesis of 4-hydroxyquinolone grafted spiropyrrolidines or pyrrolizidines has been accomplished through 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition reaction of various azomethine ylides derived from isatin or acenaphthalene and sarcosine with 4-hydroxyquinolone derivatives as dipolarophile. The regio and stereo chemical outcome of the cycloaddition reaction is ascertained by X-ray crystallographic studies and spectroscopic techniques of the cycloadducts. Furthermore, cytotoxicity evaluation of selected compounds showed significant inhibition of cell proliferation against cervical as well as colon cancer cell lines.  相似文献

The preparation of size‐controllable Fe2O3 nanoparticles grown in nanoporous carbon with tuneable pore diameters is reported. These hybrid materials exhibit strong non‐linear magnetic properties and a magnetic moment of approximately 229 emu g?1, which is the highest value ever reported for nanoporous hybrids, and can be attributed to the nanosieve effect and the strong interaction between the nanoparticles and the carbon walls.  相似文献

Here, we report the results of our detailed study on the fabrication of iron oxide magnetic nanoparticles confined in mesoporous silica KIT‐6 with a 3D structure and large, tunable pore diameters. It was confirmed by XRD, nitrogen adsorption, high‐resolution (HR) TEM, and magnetic measurements that highly dispersed iron oxide nanoparticles are occupied inside the mesochannels of KIT‐6. We also demonstrated that the size of the iron oxide nanoparticle can be controlled by simply changing the pore diameter of the KIT‐6 and the weight percentage of the iron oxide nanoparticles. The effect of the weight percentage and size of the iron oxide nanoparticles, and the textural parameters of the support on the magnetic properties of iron oxide/KIT‐6 has been demonstrated. The magnetization increases with decreasing iron content in the pore channels of KIT‐6, whereas coercivity decreases for the same samples. Among the KIT‐6 materials studied, KIT‐6 with 7.5 wt % of iron showed the highest saturation magnetic moment and magnetic remanence. However, all the samples register a coercivity of around 2000 Oe, which is generally observed for the hard magnetic materials. In addition, we have found a paramagnetic‐to‐superparamagnetic transition at low temperature for samples with different iron content at low temperature. The cause for this exciting transition is also discussed in detail. Magnetic properties of the iron oxide loaded KIT‐6 were also compared with pure iron oxide and iron oxide loaded over SBA‐15. It was found that iron oxide loaded KIT‐6 showed the highest magnetization due to its 3D structure and large pore volume. The pore diameter of the iron oxide loaded KIT‐6 support also plays a critical role in controlling the magnetization and the blocking temperature, which has a direct relation to the particle diameter and increases from 48 to 63 K with an increase in the pore diameter of the support from 8 to 11.3 nm.  相似文献
