本文主要从实验上研究了封闭的简并二能级铯原子系统中的电磁感应吸收效应(EIA)。当泵浦和探测光作用于铯原子的6S1/2 F=4 à 6P3/2F′=5跃迁时,获得了EIA信号,同时研究了泵浦光的频率失谐和强度对EIA信号的影响。在6S1/2 F=4 à 6P3/2 F′=4和6S1/2 F=4 à 6P3/2 F′=3两个开放的二能级系统中也观察到了EIA信号。在6S1/2 F=3 à 6P3/2 F′=4的跃迁上增加一个repumping 激光,将使EIA信号增加。  相似文献

基于铯原子6S1/2 -6P3/2 -8S1/2的阶梯型能级系统,对室温下铯原子气室中的电磁感应透明(EIT)谱进行了研究.由于探测光的频率锁定于基态6S1/2(F=3)到中间态6P3/2的超精细跃迁线上,耦合光在中间态6P3/2和激发态8S1/2之间扫描,得到的EIT谱具有平坦的背景,提高了光谱的精度.理论上,采用了一个多能级的EIT模型,将其计算结果与所观察的实验现象进行了比较,二者符合得比较好. 关键词: 电磁感应透明 光抽运 超精细结构 阶梯型系统  相似文献

本文主要研究了调制探测激光场中铯Rydberg 原子阶梯型三能级系统的电磁感应透明(EIT) 效应. 铯原子基态6S1/2, 第一激发态6P3/2 和Rydberg 态形成阶梯型三能级系统, 探测光作用于6S1/2 (F = 4)→6P3/2(F' = 5) 的跃迁, 耦合光在Rydberg 跃迁线6P3/2→49S1/2 附近扫描, 形成Rydberg 原子EIT. 当对探测光频率施加一个几kHz 的调制时, 调制解调后的EIT 信号分裂为两个峰, 双峰间距与调制频率无关,而与调制幅度导致的失谐量大小(频率调制幅度) 成正比, 双峰间隔的一半等于探测光频率调制幅度的λpc = 1.67 倍. 实验结果与理论计算相一致. 本文的研究结果可应用于激光线型和频率抖动的实时监测.  相似文献

基于铯原子6S1/2-6P3/2跃迁线,在商用型空心阴极灯中,实现了工作波长为852 nm的法拉第反常色散原子滤光器(FADOF):当铯空心阴极灯工作电流在1~4 mA范围内时,可获得单峰、共振的线芯式FADOF;当铯空心阴极灯工作电流在6~10 mA范围内时,可获得线翼式FADOF。实验上系统测量了工作电流、轴向磁场强度、信号光功率对FADOF性能的影响,优化参数下该滤光器的透射率高达77%。  相似文献

在室温下的原子气室中, 基于铯原子6S1/2-6P3/2-7S1/2(852.3 nm+1469.9 nm) 阶梯型能级系统, 利用电光调制器的主频和±1级边带分别产生的三套双共振吸收光谱, 当驱动电光调制器的信号源频率严格等于7S1/2态超精细分裂的能级间隔时, 三套谱线中的一些超精细跃迁谱线重叠且线宽最窄, 利用这一现象很好地避免了激光器频率扫描时非线性效应的影响, 测量出了7S1/2 态超精细分裂能级间隔: 2183.72 MHz±0.23 MHz, 并计算出该态的磁偶极超精细常数: Ahfs= 545.93 m MHz±0.06 MHz, 与文献中报道的测量结果一致.  相似文献

在室温铯原子蒸气池中, 由铯原子基态、激发态和里德堡态构建了阶梯型三能级系统, 研究了里德堡原子阶梯型三能级系统的电磁感应透明(EIT). 在实现电磁感应透明的基础上, 利用16.9 GHz的射频电场耦合相邻的原子里德堡态, 实现49S1/2→47D3/2的双光子跃迁, 测量了里德堡原子的射频双光子光谱, 观察到了电磁感应透明光谱的分裂, 进一步研究了电场强度对射频双光子光谱的影响. 利用里德堡原子的EIT效应可实现对射频电场幅值和极化的精密测量, 具有潜在的应用前景.  相似文献

基于铯原子基态6S1/2的两个超精细能级(F=3与F=4)与激发态6P3/2的超精细能级(F′=4)构成的Λ型三能级系统,采用室温下的未充缓冲气体和充有分压为266.6 Pa的氖气作为缓冲气体的铯原子气室对于相干布居俘获(CPT)的参数依赖关系进行了实验研究和理论分析.主要研究了CPT信号的半高全宽和幅度对于频率差为铯原子基态6S1/2的超精细分裂(9.19263177 GHz)且位相锁定的两激光束的功率、光强比值、光斑直径、磁屏蔽之后的剩余磁场以及是否充缓冲气体等实验参数的依赖关系.在优化的实验参数条件下获得了约340 Hz的CPT信号半高全宽.  相似文献

文章分析了满足Fg=2Fe=1跃迁的开放简并二能级原子系统在磁场作用下的量子相干效应。该模型中,驱动场的偏振方向平行于磁场方向且与探针光偏振方向相互垂直。由于驱动场和塞曼分裂对原子的耦合作用,在不同驱动场拉比频率作用下将会分别出现电磁诱导透明(EIT)和电磁诱导吸收(EIA)效应,同时伴随相应的正常色散和反常色散。通过控制驱动场强度可以有效控制系统的量子相干效应,同时实现光速调控。  相似文献

The density dependence of the line shift of the cesium D2 line is studied with sub-Doppler selective reflection spectroscopy. By use of wavelength modulation and sixth-harmonics detection we observed the coefficient of the pressure-induced shift of the 6S1/2(F=4)→6P3/2(F'=3) hyperfine transition of the cesium D2 line Δδ/ρ=-0.9(5)×10-8cm3. In the limit ρ=0 a frequency shift about -3MHz remains, which may be attributed to long-range atom-surface interactions. The experimental results can be used in measurements of the local field-induced frequency shift at high atomic densities with sufficient accuracy.  相似文献

The displacement of Rb atoms in a magneto-optical trap (MOT) caused by the force of a finite time series of counter-propagating frequency modulated light pulse pairs is measured as a function of the chirp of the pulses. The frequency modulated light pulses induced 85Rb 52S1/2 F=3 ↔ 85Rb 52P3/2 F'=2, 3, 4 excitation and de-excitation of the atoms. The result of this excitation de-excitation process is a force causing the acceleration and, consequently, the displacement of the maximum of the spatial distribution of the trap atoms. The time dependence of the populations of the levels of the atom are calculated — including also the 85Rb 52S1/2 F=2 and F'=1 states — as the result of the interaction with the finite train of counter propagating frequency modulated light pulses by the solution of the Bloch equations. As the result of the measurement the interval of the chirp of the frequency modulated light of given intensity where the transitions take place, are determined. The results of the experiment and the expectation on the basis of model calculations are in qualitative agreement.  相似文献

利用铯原子D2线的调制转移光谱的鉴频特性,实现了光栅外腔式主振荡器-功率放大型(MOPA)半导体激光器相对于铯原子62S1/2F=4→62P3/2 F’=5超精细跃迁的偏频锁定,在100 ms内激光频率的相对起伏小于±280 kHz.相对于一般的饱和吸收锁频方法而言,调制转移光谱在锁频中的应用不仅彻底消除了Doppler背景对锁频的影响,而且还避免了对激光器直接进行频率扰动而带来的附加频率噪音.  相似文献

为了得到在高背景噪音下对弱信号光的提取,实验研究了基于87Rb D1线5S1/2F=2→5P1/2 F'=1跃迁的795 nm法拉第反常色散光学滤波器.充铷的样品池所含87Rb的比例高于自然铷,样品池处在均匀的磁场中并且夹在两个相互正交的偏振片之间.入射的探测光通过样品池,与原子相互作用,由于法拉第旋转效应实现滤波功能.改变实验条件,透射结果随之明显变化.当温度从340 K升高到360 K,透射谱的变化情况被细致记录,并且分析了导致透射情况变化的原因.在适当的工作温度以及磁场条件下,得到线宽为约220 MHz的超窄带透射谱线,谱线透过率约为48%.87Rb D1线的实验结果优于85Rb的吸收线.  相似文献

The results of an investigation of fluorescence signal at 6S1/2 (Fg = 4) → 6P3/2 (Fe = 5) transition of D2 line of atomic Cs vapor versus the magnetic field (up to B = 90 G), directed along the linear polarization of exciting light are presented. The recorded reduction of fluorescence in the magnetic field, which is especially strong at high intensity of laser radiation, is explained by conversion of the Zeeman optical pumping (the alignment) into the depopulation pumping under conditions, when the Zeeman frequency shift of individual transitions between magnetic sublevels exceeds the homogeneous width of transition. In consequence, the cycling hyperfine transition Fg = 4 → Fe = 5 is transformed into an open one.  相似文献

利用适用于线极化Bell-Bloom测磁系统的布洛赫方程和含有自旋弛豫的速率方程,以铯原子为研究对象,分析了抽运光对磁场灵敏度的影响,并在实验上分别采用与铯原子D1线和D2线共振的线偏光作为抽运光和探测光,用充有缓冲气体的气室进行了实验.实验结果与理论分析一致,均表明只有在一定的光强范围内,增大抽运光光强可以提高磁场灵敏度.且利用这一方法分析了原子的自旋弛豫对磁场灵敏度的影响.这项研究对于深入认识线极化的Bell-Bloom测磁系统,以及如何通过优化系统实现磁场灵敏度的提高具有重要的意义.  相似文献

We report on the emissions near the 5P3/2,1/2–4S1/2 and 4P3/2,1/2–4S1/2 transitions of potassium atoms which are excited by a fs laser beam. The field at the transition 5P3/2,1/2–4S1/2 is mainly the result of a parametric process with an axial profile when the excitation frequency is tuned above resonance and a conical one below resonance. Similar but not identical far-field patterns were also observed for the 4P3/2,1/2–4S1/2 emission. No amplified spontaneous emission was observed for the fs case, in contrast to the ns excitation for the 4P3/2,1/2–4S1/2 transition.  相似文献

Radio frequency induced transitions between 3D 5/2- and 3P 3/2-Zeeman sublevels in He+ have been detected. From the position of the line center of theD 5/2 (m=?1/2)—P 3/2(m=1/2) transition, the splittings 3D 5/2—3P 3/2=(17259±13) MHz and 3P 3/2—3D 3/2=(81±13) MHz have been deduced. The theoretical values are 17254.9 and 85.4 MHz. Three crossings of Zeeman sublevels of the 3S-, 3P- and 3D-states of He+ have been detected both by a magnetic and an electric field modulation method. The crossing-field strengths are in good agreement with the calculated values.  相似文献

Magnetization and neutron diffraction studies have been performed on Ce4Sb3 compound (cubic Th3P4-type, space group I4¯3d, no. 220). Magnetization of Ce4Sb3 reveals a ferromagnetic transition at ∼5 K, the temperature below which the zero-field-cooled and field-cooled magnetization bifurcate in low applied fields. However, a saturation magnetization (MS) value of only ∼0.93μB/Ce3+ is observed at 1.8 K, suggesting possible presence of crystal field effects and a paramagnetic/antiferromagnetic Ce3+ moment. Magnetocaloric effect in this compound has been computed using the magnetization vs. field data obtained in the vicinity of the magnetic transition, and a maximum magnetic entropy change, −ΔSM, of ∼8.9 J/kg/K is obtained at 5 K for a field change of 5 T. Inverse magnetocaloric effect occurs at ∼2 K in 5 T indicating the presence of antiferromagnetic component. This has been further confirmed by the neutron diffraction study that evidences commensurate antiferromagnetic ordering at 2 K in zero magnetic field. A magnetic moment of ∼1.24μB/Ce3+ is obtained at 2 K and the magnetic moments are directed along Z-axis.  相似文献
