Effects of colored noise on the dynamics of quantum entanglement of a one-parameter qubit—qutrit system

We analyzed the effect of colored noise on the negativity dynamics of a hybrid system consisting of a qubit-qutrit and not interacting, prepared from the start in an entangled one-parameter state and acting with noise in local and non-local environments. In this pink and brown noise we investigated two different situations: in the first situation, the noise is produced by a bistable oscillator with an unknown exchange rate; however, in the second situation, the noise is generated by a set of bistable oscillators. We found that entanglement decreases with time to zero, and undergoes the phenomenon of sudden death and rebirth. The pink noise is more prone to entanglement than the brown noise and the non-local environment is more prone to entanglement than the local one. When the number of fluctuators is increased, entanglement decays faster and finally, for certain parameters of the initial state, the subsystems are not affected by the noise. 相似文献

We present a comparative study of the dynamics of entanglement and quantum discord in a bipartite system in the presence of mixed classical noises. In particular, the joint effects of three different types of classical noises, namely, random telegraphic noise (RTN), Ornstein–Uhlenbeck noise (OU), and static noise, are studied by combining them in two different ways. In each case, one marginal system is coupled with random telegraphic noise, and the other marginal system is coupled with either OU or static noise. We make a comparison between the behaviors of both correlations in the two setups. In the weak coupling regime, the qualitative behavior of entanglement is unaffected by switching the coupling of only one marginal system from OU to static noise, and vice versa. However, the behavior of quantum discord strongly depends on whether it is coupled with OU or static noise. On the other hand, in the strong coupling regime, the static noise is more fatal to the survival of both correlations as compared to the other two noises. 相似文献

By means of linear approximation method, we derive and discuss the intensity correlation function, correlation time, and power spectrum for the gain-noise model of a single-mode laser driven by multiplicative colored and additive white noises with δ-correlation form. It is found that: (1) The negative correlation between noises makes the evolution of the intensity correlation function with the time showing two forms: the monotonic attenuation and presence of the positive maximum value; while corresponding to all points on the critical line of the parameter graph for illustrating two forms, the evolution curve of the intensity correlation function with the time exhibits the initial plateau. (2) Due to the existence of the negative correlation between noises, an obvious character for the change of the intensity correlation time with the pump noise strength is that it has a crest value, and the relaxation process of the laser is slower-down than that of two independent noises. We consider a system of three uncoupled entangled qubits undergoing a decoherence process (DP) induced by a classical environmental noise portrayed by a Gaussian distributed fluctuating field with either Ornstein–Uhlenbeck (OU) or Gaussian (G) autocorrelation function. The impacts of such a DP on the entanglement of the qubits are analyzed in detail when they are initialized either in the GHZ- or W-type states and interact with the fluctuating field in three different scenarios namely, common, independent and mixed environment(s). We found that: (i) the way the qubits interact with the noise as well as their initial state play an important role towards the protection of entanglement; (ii) there are optimal parameters which permit to delay or totally avoid the disentanglement of the qubits; (iii) irrespective of the qubit-noise coupling (QNC) scenario and the initial prepared state considered, the OU noise is more injurious to the survivorship of entanglement than the G one. Specifically, we show that, irrespective of the QNC scenario and the character of the noise considered, the DP disentangles the qubits more quickly when they are initialized in the W-type states than in the GHZ-type one. Furthermore, we show that when the initial state of the qubits is considered to be a W-type state, the disentanglement occurs more rapidly in the common environment (CE) scenario followed by the mixed environments (MEs) scenario than in the independent environments (IEs) one. 在Levins模型的基础上研究了色交叉关联噪声对集合种群稳定性的影响, 应用Fokker-Plank方程得到了系统的稳态概率密度函数, 运用最快下降法得到了平均灭绝时间的解析式. 结果表明: 两噪声色关联时, 加性噪声强度和乘性噪声强度均弱化集合种群的稳定性; 噪声关联强度强化集合种群的稳定性. 两噪声之间负关联时, 平均灭绝时间是加性噪声强度和乘性噪声强度的减函数, 是噪声关联时间的增函数; 两噪声之间正关联时, 平均灭绝时间是加性噪声强度和噪声关联时间乘性噪声强度的减函数, 是乘性噪声强度的非单调函数.

In this paper, we investigate a mathematical model for describing the growth of tumor cell under immune response, which is
driven by cross-correlation between multiplicative and additive colored noises as well as the nonzero cross-correlation in
between. The expression of the mean first-passage time (MFPT) is obtained by virtue of the steepest-descent approximation.
It is found: (i) When the noises are negatively cross-correlated (λ<0), then the escape is faster than in the case with no correlation (λ=0); when the noises are positively cross-correlated (λ>0), then the escape is slower than in the case with no correlation. Moreover, in the case of positive cross-correlation,
the escape time has a maximum for a certain intensity of one of the noises, i.e., the maximum for MFPT identifies the noise
enhanced stability of the cancer state. (ii) The effect of the cross-correlation time τ

We study one-dimensional single-humped maps near the boundary crisis at fully developed chaos in the presence of additive weak Gaussian white noise. By means of a new perturbation-like method the quasi-invariant density is calculated from the invariant density at the crisis in the absence of noise. In the precritical regime, where the deterministic map may show periodic windows, a necessary and sufficient condition for the validity of this method is derived. From the quasi-invariant density we determine the escape rate, which has the form of a scaling law and compares excellently with results from numerical simulations. We find that deterministic transient chaos is stabilized by weak noise whenever the maximum of the map is of orderz>1. Finally, we extend our method to more general maps near a boundary crisis and to multiplicative as well as colored weak Gaussian noise. Within this extended class of noises and for single-humped maps with any fixed orderz>0 of the maximum, in the scaling law for the escape rate both the critical exponents and the scaling function are universal. 相似文献

We study the thermal activation problem of a bistable system driven by correlated additive and multiplicative noises by means of numerical simulation. We find that in the colored noise case the suppression effect of the positive correlation decreases and finally is released as the autocorrelation time tau of the colored noise grows. When tau is large enough, negative correlation becomes more suppressive than the positive correlation. Such phenomena are ascribed to the collaboration between noises as well as the memory effect of the multiplicative colored noise. 相似文献

We provide a detailed analysis of the dynamics of entanglement and quantum correlations for one-parameter qubit-qutrit states under independent or common classical noises influence. Namely the static noise, the Ornstein-Uhlenbeck (OU) noise and the random telegraph noise. Independently of the intrinsic features of the noises, entanglement measured by negativity and quantum correlations measured by measured-induced disturbance (MID) vanish after a finite time under the effects of independent noise environments. In a common environment setup, we show the existence of specific and very important features of perfect insulation of the systems quantum properties from noise effects, for suitable range of the entanglement parameter. We refer these phenomena to as frozen entanglement and frozen quantum correlations. The dichotomy between entanglement (separability) and quantum correlations is strengthened by our results, with the robustness of MID over entanglement and existence of separable qubit-qutrit states with non-zero quantum correlations. 相似文献

研究了色关联的乘性高斯色噪声和加性高斯色噪声驱动的分段非线性系统中, 噪声强度和相关时间对平均首次穿越时间的影响. 利用一致有色噪声近似方法和最速下降方法, 推导出系统平均首次穿越时间的表达式. 研究结果表明: 系统的平均首次穿越时间随着乘性噪声的增加会出现单峰结构, 即“共振”现象, 峰值会随着加性噪声强度和噪声之间关联强度的增加而减小. 而平均首次穿越时间作为加性噪声的函数呈单调曲线, 说明乘性噪声和加性噪声对平均首次穿越时间的影响不同. 此外, 乘性和加性噪声关联时间以及互关联时间在正关联时和负关联时 对系统平均首次穿越时间的影响是不同的.

Considering an optical bistable system with cross-correlated additive white noise and multiplicative colored noise, we study the effects of correlation between the noises on the correlation function C(s) using the unified colored noise approximation and the Stratonovich deeoupling ansatz formalism. The effects of the self-correlation time τ of the multiplicative colored noise and the correlation intensity λ between the two noises are studied with numerical calculation. It is found that C(s) increases with the increase of the self-correlation timeτ, but decreases with the increase of the correlation intensity λ. At large value of τ, there is almost no change for C(s) when τ changes. 相似文献

采用线性化近似,计算了由具有色关联的受偏置信号调制的色泵噪声和色量子噪声驱动 的单模激光增益模型的光强相对涨落,发现相对涨落随噪声强度的变化曲线中存在极小值,分析了偏置信号的强度、周期信号频率、噪声间的互关联强度和互关联时间对曲线的影响; 对单模激光增益模型在偏置信号调制和直接信号调制两种方式下的输出光强相对涨落进行了比较,发现光强涨落与偏置信号的强度密切相关.
