摘    要:旅游英语翻译与地方旅游文化相关密切,只有充分掌握当地旅游文化知识,深入了解中西方文化差异,才能更好地进行旅游英语翻译.杭州著名的景区涵盖了历史人物事迹、地理风光、宗教、中国古代诗歌文化等不同文化因素,因此杭州景区名称翻译应多采用意译、释译、旁注、改译、省译等翻译策略.

Abstract:Tourism English translation has become a major focus in the field of translation studies due to the rapid development of China's tourist market. Tourism English translation is closely related to the local tourist culture. In order to translate tourism English better, it is necessary to grasp the local tourism and cultural knowledge fully and understand the cultural differences deeply between China and the West. The cultural factors and translation strategies in tourism English translation are analyzed in this paper by the case study of Hangzhou scenic spots.
