摘    要:儿童文学是文学的重要组成部分,但目前由于儿童文学翻译缺乏充分的理论指导,其翻译质量不容乐观.目的论是功能主义翻译学派发展的重要组成部分,它注重功能主义和社会文化因素,将翻译视为人类有目的的行动.作者简要介绍了儿童文学翻译特点及目的论基本意义,并分析了目的论对儿童文学翻译的指导意义以说明目的论是一种适合指导儿童文学翻译的理论.

Abstract:Children' s literature is a special branch of general literature. However its translation practice lacks ade- quate academic studies to support, which leads to the decline of its quality. Skopos theory played an important part in the development of functionalist approaches to translation. It regards translation as a kind of human action with specific goal and it emphasizes the important position of target readers. After a brief introduction to the features of children' s literature translation and skopos theory, the author points out that skopos theory is a proper theoretical basis to guide children' s literature translation and prove its superiority over other traditional translation theories.
