The rapid growth of video data demands both effective and efficient video summarization methods so that users are empowered to quickly browse and comprehend a large amount of video content. In this paper, we formulate the video summarization task with a novel minimum sparse reconstruction (MSR) problem. That is, the original video sequence can be best reconstructed with as few selected keyframes as possible. Different from the recently proposed convex relaxation based sparse dictionary selection method, our proposed method utilizes the true sparse constraint L0 norm, instead of the relaxed constraint L2,1L2,1 norm, such that keyframes are directly selected as a sparse dictionary that can well reconstruct all the video frames. An on-line version is further developed owing to the real-time efficiency of the proposed MSR principle. In addition, a percentage of reconstruction (POR) criterion is proposed to intuitively guide users in obtaining a summary with an appropriate length. Experimental results on two benchmark datasets with various types of videos demonstrate that the proposed methods outperform the state of the art.  相似文献

In current society, artificial intelligence processing technology offers convenient video monitoring, but also raises the risk of privacy leakage. Theoretically, the data used in intelligent video processing methods may directly convey visual information containing private content. For the above problem, this paper uses a multi-layer visual privacy-protected (VPP) coding method to blur private content in the video at the visual level, while avoiding the loss of important visual features contained in the video as much as possible. And this provides a guarantee of the quality of the subsequent keyframe extraction step. Then a visual evaluation algorithm is proposed for assessing the quality of VPP-encoded video privacy protection. And the experiment shows that the results are consistent with those of subjective evaluation. In addition, for VPP-encoded video, we propose an unsupervised two-layer clustering keyframe extraction method with corresponding performance evaluation index. Finally, an association model is established to balance the privacy protection quality and the keyframe extraction performance.  相似文献

In this paper, we present a new approach for dynamic hand gesture recognition. Our goal is to integrate spatiotemporal features extracted from multimodal data captured by the Kinect sensor. In case the skeleton data is not provided, we apply a novel skeleton estimation method to compute temporal features. Furthermore, we introduce an effective method to extract a fixed number of keyframes to reduce the processing time. To extract pose features from RGB-D data, we take advantage of two different approaches: (1) Convolutional Neural Networks and (2) Histogram of Cumulative Magnitudes. We test different integration methods to fuse the extracted spatiotemporal features to boost recognition performance in a linear SVM classifier. Extensive experiments prove the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed framework for hand gesture recognition.  相似文献

This paper describes a system for modeling, animating, previewing and rendering articulated objects. The system has a modeler of objects that consists of joints and segments. The animator interactively positions the articulated object in its stick, control vertex, or rectangular prism representation and previews the motion in real time. Then the data representing the motion and the models is sent to a multicomputer [iPSC/2 Hypercube (Intel)]. The frames are rendered in parallel, exploiting the coherence between successive frames, thus cutting down the rendering time significantly. Our main aim is to make a detailed study on rendering of a sequence of 3D scenes. The results show that due to an inherent correlation between the 3D scenes, an efficient rendering can be achieved.  相似文献

该文对虚拟人行走的运动控制方法进行了研究,对人体行走过程进行了详细的分析。根据Bruderlin对行走过程的分析,该文对其进行了简化,把行走过程的支撑期和摆动期各分成两个阶段,即Heel_Strike阶段和Toe_Down阶段构成支撑期,Toe_Above_Toe阶段和Knee_Straighten阶段构成摆动期。然后,用关键帧、逆运动学和简单动力学相结合的运动控制方法,实现了逼真的虚拟人行走运动。  相似文献

The first step in the analysis of video content is the partitioning of a long video sequence into short homogeneous temporal segments. The homogeneity property ensures that the segments are taken by a single camera and represent a continuous action in time and space. These segments can then be used as atomic temporal components for higher level analysis like browsing, classification, indexing and retrieval. The novelty of our approach is to use color information to partition the video into segments dynamically homogeneous using a criterion inspired by compact coding theory. We perform an information-based segmentation using a Minimum Message Length (MML) criterion and minimization by a Dynamic Programming Algorithm (DPA). We show that our method is efficient and robust to detect all types of transitions in a generic manner. A specific detector for each type of transition of interest therefore becomes unnecessary. We illustrate our technique by two applications: a multiscale keyframe selection and a generic shot boundaries detection.  相似文献

为实现基于最佳关键帧集合的人体运动的紧致表示,提出一种遗传算法与单纯形法结合的人体运动捕获数据关键帧提取方法。以重构误差最小化和压缩率最优为目标,定义适应度函数,度量重构运动与原始运动之间的重构误差,通过关节位置和关节速率加权计算,并考虑数据的运动特性。利用背景知识对初始种群的个体进行优化,保证进化的良好基础和种群的多样性。将遗传算法和局部搜索技术结合,提高算法运行效率和求解质量。实验结果表明,该方法能够高效地从运动捕获数据中提取出最优的关键帧集合,较好地满足运动数据的紧致表示,且能高质量重构其它帧。  相似文献
