Edible coating based on Alyssum homalocarpum seed gum (AHSG) and chitosan for coating of fresh apricot was optimized using response surface methodology (RSM). The independent variables included concentrations of AHSG and chitosan in coating solution. The response variables studied were total soluble solid, weight loss, titratably acidity, pH, reducing sugar, moisture content, and firmness. Results indicated that RSM models were significantly (p < .05) qualified for all response variables, except for total soluble solid and titratable acidity. The regression models demonstrated R2 ranging from .78 to .99. AHSG concentration influenced the weight loss, pH, and firmness, while chitosan concentration had an effect on pH and moisture content. This study showed that the coating can improve apricot firmness and stability in terms of weight loss, pH, and moisture content. The study suggested that a combination of AHSG 1.02% (w/w) and chitosan 0.33% (w/w) is the best one to achieve the desirable responses.  相似文献

A fish roe protein hydrolysate from rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss) trout roe protein hydrolysates (TRH) was produced by pepsin and Alcalase. Proximate, amino acid compositions, protein digestibility and molecular mass distribution of the hydrolysates were determined. The degree of hydrolysis was found to be 44.08% and 27.62% (pepsin and Alcalase, respectively). The two hydrolysates contained a high amount of essential amino acids (33.53% Alcalase–29.39% pepsin). The results showed that TRH by different enzymes is a good source of the leucine and lysine amino acids. The pepsin produced a white powder with higher brightness (L* = 89.50). Alcalase hydrolysate was brownish yellow in colour (L* = 52.85, a* = 10.30, b* = 26.25). The hydrolysates represented excellent antioxidant activities in various concentrations. TRHs showed a good foaming and emulsification properties. The results thus revealed that protein hydrolysates from rainbow trout roe could be used as food additives possessing essential amino acids and antioxidant activity.  相似文献

Carbon nanomaterials exhibit extraordinary mechanical and electronic properties desirable for future technologies. Beyond the popular sp2‐scaffolds, there is growing interest in their graphdiyne‐related counterparts incorporating both sp2 and sp bonding in a regular scheme. Herein, we introduce carbonitrile‐functionalized graphdiyne nanowires, as a novel conjugated, one‐dimensional (1D) carbon nanomaterial systematically combining the virtues of covalent coupling and supramolecular concepts that are fabricated by on‐surface synthesis. Specifically, a terphenylene backbone is extended with reactive terminal alkyne and polar carbonitrile (CN) moieties providing the required functionalities. It is demonstrated that the CN functionalization enables highly selective alkyne homocoupling forming polymer strands and gives rise to mutual lateral attraction entailing room‐temperature stable double‐stranded assemblies. By exploiting the templating effect of the vicinal Ag(455) surface, 40 nm long semiconducting nanowires are obtained and the first experimental assessment of their electronic band structure is achieved by angle‐resolved photoemission spectroscopy indicating an effective mass below 0.1m0 for the top of the highest occupied band. Via molecular manipulation it is showcased that the novel oligomer exhibits extreme mechanical flexibility and opens unexplored ways of information encoding in clearly distinguishable CN‐phenyl trans–cis species. Thus, conformational data storage with density of 0.36 bit nm?2 and temperature stability beyond 150 K comes in reach.  相似文献

Mesoporous nanocrystalline MgSiO3 with high surface area was synthesized by a hydrothermal method and employed as support in dry and steam reforming of methane. Ni/MgSiO3 catalysts were prepared by an impregnation method and characterized by different techniques. N2 adsorption analysis indicated that addition of nickel shifted the pore size distributions to smaller sizes. Temperature‐programmed reduction analysis revealed that a higher nickel loading enhanced the reducibility of the catalyst. The catalytic performance was improved with increasing the nickel content. The Ni/MgSiO3 catalyst exhibited high stability in dry reforming but methane conversion declined with time‐on‐stream in the steam reforming reaction. Temperature‐programmed oxidation profiles of spent catalysts indicated that the high amount of carbon deposited on the catalyst surface in dry and steam reforming was assigned to whisker‐type carbon.  相似文献

The effect of preliminary ascorbic and citric acid (AA and CA, respectively) soaking treatments on the rancidity development in Wels catfish ( Silurus glanis ) fillets during further frozen storage (−18 °C; up to 6 months) was studied. Rancidity development was measured by biochemical quality indices (formation of free fatty acids, peroxides and secondary oxidation products) and compared with sensory analysis (appearance, rancid odour and consistency) and general chemical analyses (pH, expressible moisture and heme iron contents). When compared with control samples, AA- and CA-treated samples showed a lower ( P  < 0.05) formation of primary and secondary lipid oxidation compounds that was corroborated by a longer ( P  < 0.05) shelf-life time as a result of a lower rancid odour formation. According to these results, control samples showed a higher ( P  < 0.05) heme iron breakdown (months 3–6) and a lower ( P  < 0.05) water-holding capacity (higher expressible moisture value) (month 6).  相似文献

In this paper, a new neuro‐based approach using a feed‐forward neural network is presented to design a Wilkinson power divider. The proposed power divider is composed of symmetrical modified T‐shaped resonators, which are a replacement for quarter‐wave transmission lines in the conventional structure. The proposed technique reduces the size of the power divider by 45% and suppresses unwanted bands up to the fifth harmonics. To verify the concept, a prototype of the power divider has been fabricated and tested, exhibiting good agreement between the predicted and measured results. The results show that the insertion loss and the isolation at the center frequency are about 3.3 ± 0.1 dB and 23 dB, respectively.  相似文献

A Schottky-type ultraviolet (UV) light sensor is fabricated on a thermally oxidized titanium chip. The device is of Ag-TiO2-Ti structure, and the Schottky junction between silver and rutile is formed subsequent to the vacuum deposition of silver on the thermally grown rutile layer by a controlled thermal annealing in air. The device operates at −300 mV biasing established between silver and titanium electrodes. The dark reverse current of this diode increases four orders of magnitude when illuminated with UV light (355 nm) of 10 μW/mm2 intensity. The device is almost insensitive to visible light and requires no filtering when used for ambient UV level detection. The operation mechanism of the device is described by photonic electron-hole pair generation in the carrier depleted titanium dioxide layer adjacent to the silver electrode. The electrode-to-electrode distance is 1 μm only affording much faster performance compared to photoconductive UV detectors fabricated based on titanium dioxide; the response and recovery times of the device are 10 ms and 17 ms, respectively. At its standby mode, a 1 mm2 active area device consumes less than 10 pW of electric power. Sensors with sensitive areas as large as ∼10 mm2 are easy to fabricate. The fabricated devices are rugged, resistant to UV degradation, and cost effective.  相似文献

In this research gasoil desalting was investigated from mass transfer point of view in an eductor liquid–liquid extraction column (eductor-LLE device). Mass transfer characteristics of the eductor-LLE device were evaluated and an empirical correlation was obtained by dimensional analysis of the dispersed phase Sherwood number. The Results showed that the overall mass transfer coefficient of the dispersed phase and extraction efficiency have been increased by increasing Sauter mean diameter (SMD) and decreasing the nozzle diameter from 2 to 1 mm, respectively. The effects of Reynolds number (Re), projection ratio (ratio of the distance between venturi throat and nozzle tip to venturi throat diameter, Rpr), venturi throat area to nozzle area ratio (Rth-n) and two phases flow rates ratio (RQ) on the mass transfer coefficient (K) were determined. According to the results, K increase with increasing Re and RQ and also with decreasing Rpr and Rth-n. Semi-empirical models of drop formation, rising and coalescence were compared with our proposed empirical model. It was revealed that the present model provided a relatively good fitting for the mass transfer model of drop coalescence. Moreover, experimental data were in better agreement with calculated data with AARE value of 0.085.  相似文献

Industrial wastewaters from the Merox process are heavily polluted by toxic cobalt‐tetrasulfonated phthalocyanine (CoTsPc) dye catalyst, and in this article, we describe the synthesis of novel chitosan hydrogels and their adsorption capabilities against CoTsPc as biosorbents. In this study, novel chitosan hydrogels were crosslinked by 3,3′,4,4′‐tetracarboxybenzophenone dianhydride and used for the first time. The adsorption capacities of the hydrogels were significantly improved, and they exhibited excellent sorption behavior with ammonium sulfate modification. The adsorption behavior was observed to be pH dependent, and the optimum pH was found to be 8. Moreover, the swelling studies indicated that the hydrogels are superabsorbent. The aim of the present study was to investigate the effect of wall materials composition on physicochemical characteristics of fish oil microcapsules produced by spray drying (180 °C). Four different combination of coating materials (fish gelatin, chitosan, combination of gelatin and chitosan, and a mixture of microbial transglutaminase (MTGase) with maltodextrin) were applied to two different fish oils to produce 40 % solid emulsions. Scanning electron microscopy and extraction of surface and encapsulated oils revealed that fish gelatin provided the highest preserving effect on the covering fish oil. Meantime, addition of MTGase to gelatin could also increase this ability and reveled less surface oil than chitosan treatment (2.63 and 2.80 % versus 4.66 and 5.23 %, respectively; P?<?0.05). Mixture of gelatin and maltodextrin with MTGase as wall material led to the highest encapsulation efficiency, being selected as the best microencapsulation condition; meantime, application of chitosan with maltodextrin provided the worse encapsulation efficiency (P?<?0.05). All indices of powders (encapsulation efficiency, surface morphology, and particle size) showed that powders prepared from gelatin and gelatin with MTGase increased the encapsulation efficiency and would increase the stability of microcapsule powders.  相似文献
