Ensuring a high manufacturing test quality of an integrated electronic circuit mandates the application of a large volume test set. Even if the test data can be fit into the memory of an external tester, the consequent increase in test application time reflects into elevated production costs. Test data compression solutions have been proposed to address the test time and data volume problem by storing and delivering the test data in a compressed format, and subsequently by expanding the data on-chip. In this paper, we propose a scan cell positioning methodology that accompanies a compression technique in order to boost the compression ratio, and squash the test data even further. While we present the application of the proposed approach in conjunction with the fan-out based decompression architecture, this approach can be extended for application along with other compression solutions as well. The experimental results also confirm the compression enhancement of the proposed methodology.  相似文献

The compatibilization of recycled polypropylene (PP) and high-density polyethylene (HDPE) was studied using two types of compatibilizers: 5 wt% PP-grafted-maleic anhydride (5 wt% MAPP) and 5 wt% HDPE-grafted-maleic anhydride (5 wt% MAHDPE), using a cone and plate rheometer. Maleic anhydride (MAH) was grafted onto PP or HDPE via peroxide initiated melt grafting technique. Blends containing highest amount of pure HDPE exhibited maximum values for tensile strength, complex viscosity, dynamic and loss modulus compared to similar blends developed using recycled HDPE. The latter properties of all the compatibilized blends were higher compared to that of uncompatibilized blends. Studies on rheology of the pure and recycled polymer and its compatibilized blends have thrown some light on the molecular weight distribution of these materials. High shear yielding characteristics were noted for MAHDPE compatibilized blends containing high percentage of HDPE. Scanning electron microscopy showed that blends containing a high percentage of HDPE and HDPE based compatibilizer exhibit a dispersed morphology. Fourier transform infrared spectrometer characterization was conducted to check if compatibilization occurred between recycled PP and HDPE.  相似文献

Hydrogenated amorphous silicon-selenium alloy thin films grown by capacitively coupled radio-frequency glow-discharge are investigated. Nonlinear absorptive effects are evaluated with the help of open aperture z-scan technique in the 525 to 580 nm spectral range. The nonlinear absorption coefficient is found to be very large and reaching the value of 5.14 × 10− 3 cm/W at 525 nm. The origin of the optical nonlinearities is studied and found to be due mainly to two photon absorption in the case of pulsed excitation, whereas thermal effects are thought to be dominant when the sample is excited with a continuous wave laser. Optical limiting potentialities of the thin film are experimentally observed and their thresholds are found to be very low.  相似文献

Summary. A constitutive model is derived for the viscoplastic behavior of rubbery polymers at finite strains. A polymer is treated as an equivalent network of chains bridged by permanent junctions. The elastic response of the network is attributed to the elongation of strands, whereas its plastic behavior is associated with the sliding of nodes with respect to their initial positions. Unlike conventional stress–strain relations in finite viscoplasticity, the rate-of-strain tensor for the sliding of junctions is expressed in terms of the rate-of-strain tensor for macro-deformation. Constitutive equations are developed by using the laws of thermodynamics. These relations are simplified for simple shear of an incompressible medium with finite strains. The governing equations are determined by 3 material constants. To verify the model, a series of shear tests is performed on polycarbonate melts reinforced with short glass fibers. Adjustable parameters in the stress–strain relations are found by fitting the experimental data. Fair agreement is demonstrated between the observations and the results of numerical simulation. The evolution of new SARS-CoV-2 variants around the globe has made the COVID-19 pandemic more worrisome, further pressuring the health care system and immunity. Novel variations that are unique to the receptor-binding motif (RBM) of the receptor-binding domain (RBD) spike glycoprotein, i. e. L452R-E484Q, may play a different role in the B.1.617 (also known as G/452R.V3) variant's pathogenicity and better survival compared to the wild type. Therefore, a thorough analysis is needed to understand the impact of these mutations on binding with host receptor (RBD) and to guide new therapeutics development. In this study, we used structural and biomolecular simulation techniques to explore the impact of specific mutations (L452R-E484Q) in the B.1.617 variant on the binding of RBD to the host receptor ACE2. Our analysis revealed that the B.1.617 variant possesses different dynamic behaviours by altering dynamic-stability, residual flexibility and structural compactness. Moreover, the new variant had altered the bonding network and structural-dynamics properties significantly. MM/GBSA technique was used, which further established the binding differences between the wild type and B.1.617 variant. In conclusion, this study provides a strong impetus to develop novel drugs against the new SARS-CoV-2 variants.  相似文献

Summary Poly(ethylene terephthalate) PET and poly(methyl methacrylate) PMMA blends were made by melt mixing in a batch reactor. Three different weight ratios of PET : PMMA (25:75, 50:50 and 75:25) were chosen to study the effect of blend composition on the degradation kinetics. A relationship between the fractional volatiles evolved per unit time and the fraction of polymer degraded is established. The kinetic parameters for degradation were found using modified Avrami’s non-isothermal equation. Parameters like degradation rate constant (k) and order of degradation (n), were evaluated for the virgin polymers and the blends.  相似文献

Date powder was produced by foam-mat freeze-dried method without and with carrier agents (maltodextrin and gum arabic) at two concentration levels (40 and 50%). The effect of carrier agents on the physicochemical properties of powder, i.e., hygroscopicity, degree of caking, wettability, dispersibility, solubility, water absorption index, color, and total phenolic content was investigated. Carrier agent-added date powders had lower hygroscopicity that offers good storage stability. Maltodextrin-added powders had lower wettability and higher solubility which indicate good reconstitution properties. The hygroscopicity, degree of caking, wettability, and total phenolic content significantly decreased with an increase in carrier concentration level.  相似文献

Short-chain fatty acid (SCFA) acetate, a byproduct of dietary fiber metabolism by gut bacteria, has multiple immunomodulatory functions. The anti-inflammatory role of acetate is well documented; however, its effect on monocyte chemoattractant protein-1 (MCP-1) production is unknown. Similarly, the comparative effect of SCFA on MCP-1 expression in monocytes and macrophages remains unclear. We investigated whether acetate modulates TNFα-mediated MCP-1/CCL2 production in monocytes/macrophages and, if so, by which mechanism(s). Monocytic cells were exposed to acetate with/without TNFα for 24 h, and MCP-1 expression was measured. Monocytes treated with acetate in combination with TNFα resulted in significantly greater MCP-1 production compared to TNFα treatment alone, indicating a synergistic effect. On the contrary, treatment with acetate in combination with TNFα suppressed MCP-1 production in macrophages. The synergistic upregulation of MCP-1 was mediated through the activation of long-chain fatty acyl-CoA synthetase 1 (ACSL1). However, the inhibition of other bioactive lipid enzymes [carnitine palmitoyltransferase I (CPT I) or serine palmitoyltransferase (SPT)] did not affect this synergy. Moreover, MCP-1 expression was significantly reduced by the inhibition of p38 MAPK, ERK1/2, and NF-κB signaling. The inhibition of ACSL1 attenuated the acetate/TNFα-mediated phosphorylation of p38 MAPK, ERK1/2, and NF-κB. Increased NF-κB/AP-1 activity, resulting from acetate/TNFα co-stimulation, was decreased by ACSL1 inhibition. In conclusion, this study demonstrates the proinflammatory effects of acetate on TNF-α-mediated MCP-1 production via the ACSL1/MAPK/NF-κB axis in monocytic cells, while a paradoxical effect was observed in THP-1-derived macrophages.  相似文献

In this study, epoxidized palm oil (EPO) was utilized as a plasticizer for polylactic acid (PLA) using chloroform as a solvent by solution casting process at six weight ratios of PLA/EPO, 95/05, 90/10, 80/20, 70/30, 60/40, and 50/50, respectively. Fourier-transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy was used to identify the functional groups of PLA, EPO, and PLA/EPO blends. Thermal stability, mechanical, and morphological properties of the blends were investigated by thermogravimetric analyzer (TGA), tensile properties measurements, and scanning electron microscope (SEM) technique, respectively. The FTIR spectra indicate that there are some molecular interactions by intramolecular hydrogen bond between PLA and EPO. All sets of PLA/EPO blends show high thermal stability and significant improvement of mechanical properties compare to pure PLA. The highest elongation at break (about 210%) was obtained when the ratio of PLA/EPO blend was 80/20. Morphological results of PLA/EPO blends show that ESO was good miscible with PLA.  相似文献
