设计了一种用于测量系统的20位精度带通∑-△调制器。采用低失真离散时间单环4阶1比特量化结构,以实现高精度的指标。对带通调制器中最关键的模块-谐振子进行了研究,设计了一种对电容非线性和失配不敏感并具有精确谐振频率的高Q值谐振子。仿真结果表明,该调制器在100kHz中频处20Hz带宽内实现了20位分辨率。本调制器采用AMI0.35μm标准CMOS工艺实现,整个调制器的总面积仅为2.5mm^2,在3.3V供电电压下,调制器的总功耗仅为4mW。 相似文献

Biphase modulation in an embedded-servo format for hard-disk drives is investigated. It is shown that for biphase, at the low linear densities typical of servo information, near-maximum-likelihood performance can be attained by a simple bit detector consisting of a full-response linear equalizer and a binary slicer. Compared to the commonly used method of dibit coding, a signal-to-noise ratio gain of some 4 dB is achieved. The same equalizer may be used as the basis for near-maximum-likelihood position error signal amplitude estimation and timing recovery. Simulations of a practical servo demodulator based on a fifth-order analog filter show that at typical linear densities, this ideal performance is closely approached. A single-bit fifth-order complex continuous-time IF-to-baseband SigmaDelta modulator for AM/FM/IBOC receivers is presented. The input IF is 10.7 MHz and the sampling frequency is 41.7 MHz. The modulator achieves a dynamic range of 118dB in AM mode (3 kHz BW), 98dB in FM mode (200 kHz BW), and 86dB in IBOC mode (500 kHz BW). The modulator's high dynamic range enables the realization of an AM radio receiver without a VGA and without an AM channel-selection filter, thereby reducing system complexity and cost. The elimination of the VGA also improves the sensitivity and the overall noise figure of the receiver. The modulator's spurious free dynamic range is 88 dB in the bandwidth from 25 to 525 kHz. The IM2 distance is 92 dB, and the IM3 distance is 91 dB. The ADC was fabricated in a one-poly five-metal 0.18-mum CMOS process with an active area of 6.0mm2. In this paper, an offset-stabilized operational amplifier is described. The amplifier employs a chopper amplifier in a low frequency path to cancel the offset of a wide-bandwidth amplifier. A sample-and-hold circuit is used to reduce the chopper ripple, and the low frequency path is also offset-stabilized to further reduce the residual offset. The amplifier has less than 1.5 offset at a 16-kHz chopper frequency, a unity gain frequency of 1.3 MHz with a 50-pF load, and draws 700 from a 5-V supply. The amplifier was realized in a 0.7 CMOS process, and has an effective chip area of 3.6. 相似文献

The influence of packaging on the behavior of a two-dimensional thermal wind sensor has been investigated. Non-ideal packaging increases the thermal asymmetry in the sensor, which in turn distorts its output signal. Such distortion can be compensated for by adjusting the heat distribution in the sensor. Using a combination of CAD modeling techniques, expressions have been derived from which the compensating heat distribution may be directly computed from the uncompensated sensor output. 相似文献
