二维多丝室探测器读出方法的优化

中国散裂中子源将建设一台基于~3He气体的二维多丝室,作为多功能反射谱仪束线的中子探测器.基于已有的研究,为优化选择二维多丝室探测器的丝结构,本文研究了三种不同的丝结构,并采用重心读出方法和数字读出方法进行了探测器的性能测量,得到了满足多功能反射谱仪探测器需求的读出方法.实验结果表明:对同种丝结构的二维多丝室探测器,重心读出方法的位置分辨和成像性能都好于数字读出方法;基于重心法读出的多丝室探测器位置分辨率可以达到约160μm,基于数字读出方法的多丝室探测器位置分辨率可以达到约400μm.优化设计的丝结构为:基于重心读出法的阳极丝间距1.5 mm、读出通道间距4 mm,基于数字读出法的阳极丝间距1.5 mm、读出通道间距2 mm.优化设计的丝结构均能满足谱仪的位置分辨要求.

Testing of a triple gas electron multiplier (GEM) with pixel-pads is described. Images by scanning and suspending radioactive sources were obtained by using 96 channels digital data acquisition (DAQ) system which was composed of 96 8× 8~mm² pads and associated electronics channels.     

A study of the calibration of wire positions for the BESⅢ drift chamber using physics data without magnetic field

A method to determine precisely three-dimensional wire positions in the BESⅢ drift chamber using physics events is introduced. In part the proposed technique takes advantage of the possibility that the magnetic field can be turned off, thereby providing a huge sample of straight tracks for which effects due to multiple scattering, energy loss and non-uniformity of the magnetic field are minimized during the calibration process. A toy Monte Carlo study is performed to demonstrate the viability of the method. As a result of the calibration process, the rms of the distribution of wire position deviation is reduced from 35μm to 10μm.     

BESⅢ漂移室全长模型的建造及基于全长模型的BESⅢ漂移室电子学的测试

建造了BESⅢ漂移室全长模型. 在气体密封, 高压供给及前端电子学安装方面为BESⅢ漂移室的成功建造积累了经验. 另外, 在全长模型上对BESⅢ漂移室电子学进行了测试, 包括噪声, 漂移时间测量, 电荷测量, 以及电子学增益等方面. 测试的最终结果显示了BESⅢ漂移室电子学具有很好的性能, 能够满足它们的设计要求.     

Investigation of GEM-Micromegas detector on X-ray beam of synchrotron radiation

To reduce the discharge of the standard bulk Micromegas and GEM detectors, a GEM-Micromegas detector was developed at the Institute of High Energy Physics. Taking into account the advantages of the two detectors, one GEM foil was set as a preamplifier on the mesh of Micromegas in the structure and the CEM pream- plification decreased the working voltage of Micromegas to significantly reduce the effect of the discharge. At the same gain, the spark probability of the GEM-Micromegas detector can be reduced to a factor 0.01 compared to the standard Micromegas detector, and an even higher gain could be obtained. This paper describes the performance of the X-ray beam detector that was studied at 1W2B Laboratory of Beijing Synchrotron Radiation Facility. Finally, the result of the energy resolution under various X-ray energies was given in different working gases. This indicates that the GEM-Micromegas detector has an energy response capability in an energy range from 6 keV to 20 keV and it could work better than the standard bulk-Micromegas.     

电感耦合等离子体-原子发射光谱法测定陶瓷颜料中的多种元素

采用电感耦合等离子体-原子发射光谱法(ICP-AES)同时测定了陶瓷颜料中的镉、锌、钛、铬、铁、钙、镁等多种元素。样品经王水的缓慢溶解,再加入氢氟酸除硅。在HNO3介质中,用ICP-AES测定其中的多种元素。讨论了溶样条件、基体效应等影响因素。在选定的仪器最佳条件下,该方法测定各元素的相对标准偏差(RSD,n=12)在0.52%—3.06%之间,加标回收率在98.6%—104.3%之间。该方法分析实际样品,分析结果与其他方法一致。     

THE BES ON-LINE DATA ANALYSIS SYSTEM

The paper briefly describes the hardware configuration and software components of the BES (Beijing Spectromenter) on-line data acquisition system,and summarizes the development of this system we completed in the recent two years.A successful run of the on-line system has been performed in the BES'S cosmic ray test.
