High frequency RFID sensors are attractive in diverse applications where sensor performance is required at a low cost and dimension restriction. An approach adapting commercial passive 13.56 MHz RFID tags has been developed for sensing corrosion stage. This investigation includes balance of sensing and positioning of RFID sensors for corrosion detection by analysing real and imaginary parts of the complex impedance. With passive HF RFID sensors, real part and imaginary part of complex impedance have been extracted from the reader coil with VNA (vector network analyser) and delivering a unique capability for corrosion sensing with different atmospheric exposure time steel samples (1 month, 6 months, 10 months and 12 months). With different positioning (5–25 mm), features extraction based on the complex impedance with PCA (principal component analysis) has been designed for position-independent corrosion evaluation.  相似文献

RFID technology is currently one of the most progressively growing identification technologies. It provides a huge potential of use in various fields of industry. The positive impact of its implementation can be monitored also by the rationalization of processes and it became the main basis for the concept of Industry 4.0 for this reason. The article concerns the experimental verification of qualitative properties of the RFID transponder by using regression analysis and experiment in laboratory conditions of expert laboratory. On the basis of experimental measurements, they were created regression models of the impact of external factors acting on the readability of the RFID transponder. The main objective of this study is to present the results of mathematical and statistical approach for verification the declared properties of the RFID transponder are which intended to serve as a basis for implementation of the proposed system into real conditions of the practice.  相似文献

Many large retailers decided to adopt RFID as their new supply chain technology, but RFID adoption by all industries did not spread as rapidly as initially expected. We believe that its benefits constituted the major barrier to its adoption, and argued that a major contributor to the delay has been its inappropriate implementation. Our study reports the result of six in-depth case studies, which, together with case content analysis of 88 reported RFID applications, provided us with a clear view of the RFID implementation landscape, suggesting that organizations often mindlessly adopted RFID applications that were misaligned with their supply chain strategies, leading to unsatisfactory benefits. Insights into how organizations should adopt RFID were developed from our results and were discussed.  相似文献

We extended the application of Roger's model for evaluating the institutional forces influencing the adoption intention of RFID by retailer's suppliers. Drawing on institutional theory, we examined how different institutional forces experienced by retailer's suppliers were related to their relational investment on inter-organizational information sharing. Data collected from 130 major Taiwanese suppliers was used in our empirical analyses. We found that relational investment was the most critical adoption factor, which also indirectly enhanced organizational readiness for technological adoption intention. From a Taiwanese perspective, our findings should be helpful in understanding what factors significantly impact the adoption of RFID technology.  相似文献
