Intelligent security systems have evolved enormously in the last few years. Most of these security systems use a group of physics sensors and algorithms for data analysis and communication systems to notify security alarms. Many security systems that are included in doors can detect intruders when they have already opened the door, but not while intruders are forcing upon the door. However, some security systems include preventive systems, which can detect intruders before they open the door. These preventive systems are usually based on video cameras (image processing) or in-presence sensors, which can generate many false positives, for instance, when a person is next to the door for a few seconds, even if this person is not manipulating the door. This research work proposes a novel force door detection system. The system includes a specific device for monitoring door small vibrations and movements; it analyzes these data using neural networks to detect accurately if someone is forcing upon the door. Artificial intelligence must be able to categorize data records without confusing when someone is forcing upon the door with other actions, like knocking on the door.  相似文献

Canelo wood is a highly valued native species in Chile that shows delicate marbling patterns with a pinkish soft silver luster. Due to its decorative qualities, canelo wood is dried for the manufacture of furniture and musical instruments. However, canelo wood lacks vessels cells that typically transport the water in hardwoods. Per its drying behavior, canelo wood is considered a transition species between hardwoods and softwoods. Therefore, this article reports drying schedules that were developed for drying 25-mm and 50-mm canelo lumber. In addition, this article reports experimental overall mass transfer coefficients, so that drying times for each of the drying stages can be easily estimated.  相似文献

A new type of three‐phase quasi‐Z‐source indirect matrix converter (QZS‐IMC) is proposed in this paper. It uses a unique impedance network for achieving voltage‐boost capability and making the input current in continuous conduction mode (CCM) to eliminate the input filter. The complete modulation strategy is proposed to operate the QZS‐IMC. Meanwhile, a closed‐loop DC‐link peak voltage control strategy is proposed, and the DC‐link peak voltage is estimated by measuring both the input and capacitor voltages. With this proposed technique, a high‐performance output voltage control can be achieved with an excellent transient performance even if there are input voltage and load current variations. The controller is designed by using the small‐signal model. Vector control scheme of the induction motor is combined with the QZS‐IMC to achieve the motor drive. A QZS‐IMC prototype is built in laboratory, and experimental results verify the operating principle and theoretical analysis of the proposed converter. The simulation tests of QZS‐IMC based inductor motor drive are carried out to validate the proposed converter's application in motor drive. Copyright © 2013 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

The interaction between the amphiphilic drug amitriptyline hydrochloride (AMT) and the nonionic surfactants used in drug delivery has been investigated. Herein, we report the micellization behavior of AMT in presence of ethoxylated alkyl phenols in aqueous medium and the clouding phenomenon in the absence and presence of different nonionic surfactants in buffer solution. The values of critical micelle concentration (CMC) of AMT obtained using the conductivity method, decrease as nonionic surfactant concentration increases. With an increase in temperature, the CMC first increases and then decreases. At 303.15 K, the maximum CMC values were obtained with or without nonionic surfactant. The results obtained indicate attractive interactions (synergism) between the two mixing amphiphiles in solution. The experimentally obtained critical micelle concentration (CMC) values are always lower than ideal CMC values. Micellar mole fraction (X1) values, calculated by different proposed models, show the contribution of nonionic surfactant concentration. At a fixed drug concentration (50 mmol kg?1) and pH (=6.7) nonionic surfactants show continuous increase in cloud point (CP). Increase in drug concentration and pH, in the presence of fixed amounts of nonionic surfactant, increases and decreases the CP, respectively.  相似文献

In this article we explain our design and their performance, of a Foucault pendulum capable of continuous operation with a following system of the oscillation plane. We have built two pendulums, one of 2.835 m length and other of 4.975 m length. The oscillation amplitudes in either case were 1.8 and 1 deg, respectively. In our latitude the precession speed (9.89 deg/h counterclockwise) can be measured within 0.5 and 0.2 deg/h. The arrangement detected some earthquakes of medium intensity that took place as far as 765 km.  相似文献
