通过考察碳素工具钢的表面滑移、疲劳破坏及表面裂纹的扩展条件,以统一的局部应力讨论了光滑试样和裂纹试样的疲劳特征。分析和实验结果表明,在裂纹试样的名义应力小于光滑试样表面滑移门槛应力的范围内,线弹性断裂力学是有效的,对应裂纹扩展门槛值的裂尖性区为一常数。  相似文献

Fatigue crack growth behaviors in electron beam weldments of a nickel-base superalloy are. studied. The objective of this paper is to discuss effects of the inhomogeneity of mechanical performance on fatigue crack growth (FCG) rate and crack path deviation (CPD). The base metal served in a turbine disk of aerospace engine was selected to fabricate bead-on-plate weldments by using electron beam welding. Some wedge-type opening loading specimens, notched in three different zone of weld metal, HAZ and base metal, were employed and performed fatigue crack growth tests at 650℃. The results show that the fatigue crack growth of electron beam welded joints is instable due to the influence of mechanical heterogeneities. Owing to the crack deviation at the weld metal and heat-affected-zone (HAZ), the effective growth driving force at the tip of fatigue crack was reduced with the reduction of the effective stress intensity factor (SIF) which finally causes fatigue crack rate decrease. Fatigue crack was strongly affected by size and the symmetrical characteristics of the plastic zone at the crack tip, which means that the integrity of the welded structure containing the fatigue crack mainly depended on the toughness of the low strenqth zone.  相似文献

研究了高温合金电子束焊接接头区的疲劳裂纹扩展行为,深入分析了接头区力学失配对疲劳裂纹扩展方向及疲劳裂纹扩展速率的影响规律。结果表明,由于力学不均匀性的影响,电子束焊接接头的疲劳裂纹扩展具有不稳定性,位于高匹配焊接区的疲劳裂纹偏离原裂纹扩展方向,跨越焊接区与母材,呈复合型扩展;焊接区疲劳裂纹的集团使得裂纹尖端有效应力强度因子减小,因而焊缝区裂尖局部有效裂纹扩展驱动力下降,导致接头的疲劳裂纹扩展速率下  相似文献

The effect of ferrite content in ferrite-martensite dual-phase steel on the initiation and prop-agation of fatigue crack and the plastic deformation at crack tip has been studied.In the rangeof ferrite content from 24.2 to 41.5%,the optimum seems to be 33.8%,of which the crack ini-tiation will be prolonged,the threshold value increased,the propagation rate decreased and theclosure stress intensity factor increased.As the propagation force is described by effectivestress intensity factor,three steels with various ferrite contents will show the same propagationbehaviour on da/dN vs △ K_(eff)curve.It is shown that the closure effect increases with thedecrease in △K at the fatigue crack tip.When △K equals to △K_(th),the closure effect reachesa maximum value of0.7 in a dual-phase steel with 33.8%ferrite.  相似文献

The effect of proportional and non-proportional overloading on mode l fatigue crack growthhave been studied,and the influences of crack tip plastic zone,crack tip blunting as well ascrack closure were discussed.Proportional(model I)overloading may cause more seriouscrack growth retardation than non-proportional(mixed mode)overloading.Therefore,forestimating the fatigue life of engineering structures to simplify a real overload which may of-ten be non-proportional as a proportional one is not always safe.  相似文献

钛制承压设备在制造和服役过程中会产生塑性变形,影响其抗疲劳性能。为了研究预应变对工业纯钛TA2疲劳裂纹扩展行为的影响,本文对原始材料、预应变量为10%、20%和30%的材料进行疲劳裂纹扩展试验,结合数字图像相关(Digital image correlation, DIC)技术获取裂纹尖端应变场,研究预应变对裂纹尖端应变场的影响。结果表明:随着预应变量的增加,稳态疲劳裂纹扩展阶段的扩展速率减小,裂纹张开位移减小,裂纹张开载荷增大,裂纹尖端塑性区、塑性变形量以及循环塑性应变累积量均减小。因此预应变抑制了裂纹尖端的塑性变形及循环塑性累积,致使裂纹闭合效应愈加明显,从而抑制了裂纹的扩展。研究结果对钛制承压设备的安全评定具有参考意义。  相似文献

应用散斑干涉技术,在常幅载荷下对疲劳裂纹扩展过程中的一个循环周期内,不同加载阶段的裂尖应变、裂纹张开位移进行了原位测量,给出了裂纹闭合对裂纹张开位移及裂尖形变的影响规律。结果表明:由于裂纹闭合和残余压应力的存在,疲劳裂尖应变与外加载荷的平方并不成正比,在加载初期,裂纹处于闭合状态,裂尖应变无明显变化,随着载荷的增加,裂纹逐渐由远离裂尖处张开并向裂尖发展,一旦裂纹完全张开,裂尖应变迅速增加,对裂尖应力-应变状态的分析表明,裂尖材料的应力-应变关系类似于光滑试样低周拉压疲劳应力-应变滞后关系。  相似文献

基于裂纹闭合效应,利用ABAQUS软件建立用于预测残余应力场中疲劳裂纹扩展特性的弹塑性有限元模型。考虑塑性和残余应力场对裂纹闭合的作用,分析残余应力、应力比和裂尖单元尺寸对裂纹闭合效应的影响。研究结果表明:未喷丸试样的裂纹闭合类型为塑性诱导裂纹闭合,喷丸残余应力场中的裂纹闭合为塑性和残余压应力共同作用,且裂纹张开力的大小与残余应力的分布相对应;正应力比越大,裂纹闭合效应越不明显,疲劳裂纹扩展速率越快;裂尖单元尺寸小于塑性区范围时可以真实反映裂尖的闭合状态;喷丸残余压应力通过提高裂纹闭合力,增强裂纹闭合效应,抑制疲劳裂纹扩展。  相似文献

采用微机控制激光散斑干涉技术,对多晶纯铜平板预裂纹试样在空气及在3.5%NaCl溶液中外加阳极电流条件下的裂纹张开位移进行了原位测量,并对比了这两种条件下,裂尖表面应变场的变化,研究了阳极溶解对裂尖材料总体形变和表面形变的影响。结果表明:加阳极电流后,裂尖表面应变量和应变范围都明显增大,而反映裂尖总体形变的张开位移变化很小。阳极溶解对金属内部材料的形变没有直接的影响,只能缓解金属表面的变形硬化,促进金属的表面变形.  相似文献

A computerized digital speckle-interferometry(SPI)system has been set up to determinethe in-plane distribution of displacement and strain at crack tip of CF specimens.Theprinciple and the experimental method of this technique are described in detail.Theeffect of corrosion factors on plastic deformation at crack tip in CF process has beenexamined by comparing the near-tip strain fields of steel A537 before and after hydrogencharging,and of pure copper before and after applying an anodic current in 3.5% NaCl.The results shows that the clasic finite element mathematical models are not suitable todescribe the near-tip deformation under the experimental conditions.Hydrogen chargingmade the crack tip plasticity decreased for steel A537 and the anodic dissolution enhancethe near tip deformation of pure copper specimen.  相似文献

开展了室温下不同应力比(R = 0.1及R = -1)的原位疲劳试验,并结合数字图像相关技术(DIC)分析了选区激光熔化IN718镍基高温合金(SLM-IN718)的细观超高周表面裂纹扩展机制。结果表明:首先,DIC分析表明SLM-IN718受载时裂纹尖端出现了类似于蝴蝶形的塑性应变区,这与采用Von Mises屈服准则相一致;其次,分析裂尖前方应变场特征、位移场特征,确定SLM-IN718存在裂纹闭合效应,并对其裂纹闭合效应进行评估,对SLM-IN718而言,R = 0.1与R = 0条件下载荷分别达到最大载荷的53%与29%时裂纹张开;此外,建立了虑及裂纹闭合效应的裂尖塑性区尺寸评估模型,计算值与实测值一致性较好;最后,结合DIC分析结果探讨了SLM-IN718低应力条件下的表面裂纹扩展机制。  相似文献

在模拟腐蚀疲劳裂尖介质中,分别用铂丝和40CrNiMo钢为辅助电极测定了在不同拉伸速率下中温回火的40CrNiMo钢的腐蚀电流密度i_(a)与应变速率、塑性应变量的关系,其结果为:利用疲劳裂纹尖端应变的弹塑性有限元计算,得到腐蚀疲劳裂尖阳极溶解引起的裂纹扩展与△K的关系,结果表明:中温回火的40CrNiMo钢在3.5%NaCl水容液中裂尖阳极溶解对腐蚀疲劳裂纹扩展的直接贡很小,阳极溶解的主要作用是影响为裂尖断裂区氢致开裂提供氢原子的阴极过程。  相似文献

It is obtained in this paper that the fatigue threshold value of mode H was 1.9 times of that ofmode Ⅰ in dual-phase steel(DPS),and the normal stress intensity factor range oJ mode Ⅱbranch crack tip was 2.2 times of that of mode Ⅰ.Above results illustrate that the resistance ofmode Ⅱ crack growth was higher than that of mode Ⅰ,the former resulting fromroughness-induced shear resistance,the latter,crack closure.The mode Ⅱ component can play two important roles in near-threshold fatigue crackgrowth:(1)increasing crack tip plasticity which accelerates the crack growth and(2)intro-ducing crack surface contact and rubbing to reduce the crack propagation rate.By means ofcrack closure,the quantity of shear resistance was easily solved in this paper.The frictionshear stress strength factor range of mode Ⅱ,K_,is still much higher than the closure stressstrength factor range of mode Ⅰ,K_(Ⅰ,cl).This illustrated that the roughness enlarged the secondrole and played a role of shielding crack tip from mode Ⅱ crack.  相似文献

本文借助于光学显微镜和扫描电镜,全面观察了在热应力的作用下,热疲劳裂纹在GJW50碳化钨钢结理质合金(未经锻造)表面扩展的全过程.观察结果表明,热疲劳扩展方式与硬质合金中的硬质相分布状态有关.小颗粒的硬质相聚集区与钢基体的界面是热疲劳裂纹的主要扩展地;热疲劳裂纹前沿已经开裂的大颗粒硬质相为热疲劳裂纹扩展的必经地.  相似文献

本文开展热处理后工业纯钛TA2不同载荷水平下疲劳裂纹扩展实验,考虑裂尖塑性变形程度,研究疲劳裂纹扩展规律以及热处理状态对疲劳裂纹扩展不同阶段的适应性。结果表明,不同疲劳载荷下热处理对疲劳扩展速率产生不同的影响。A类加载热处理后的疲劳裂纹扩展速率下降是由于近门槛区有效载荷的降低,以及近门槛值的提高。B类加载下热处理对有效载荷以及裂尖塑性变形几乎没有什么影响。C类与D类加载下热处理后裂尖塑性变形受到限制,而导致疲劳裂纹扩展速率下降。  相似文献
