Wet‐grinding Technologies with Grinding Media and Visions of Solutions for Centrifuge Mills for the Production of Nanoparticles A complete overview is given on the wet‐grinding technologies with grinding media in stirred‐media mills for comminuting and dispersing of organic and inorganic solid particles in suspensions. With regard to the state‐of‐the‐art and long time experience of the chemical, paint‐ and printing inks industries, it becomes clear that further development of wet‐grinding‐technology is necessary in order to satisfy the requirements of the production of nanoparticles with specific functional properties in the future. Visions of solutions are presented and first results are discussed.
