As one of the most promising next-generation access network techniques, the user-oriented Ethemet passive optical network (EPON) should pay more attention to its quality of service (QoS). However, now the EPON adopts mostly differentiated services model (Diffserv) that only provides quality control on traffic aggregation, whereas, the quality of user session cannot be guaranteed when the network is overloaded with substantial connections. This article proposes to apply integrated services model (lntserv) in Diffserv-based EPON, which uses per-flow processing to guarantee QoS. In the simulation, a framework of combined Diffserv and lntserv model is employed in an EPON system, with a dynamic bandwidth allocation algorithm that adapts to it. The simulation results demonstrate that the EPON system with the combined models can provide more flexible, various control for user-oriented service quality. 相似文献

Quality of service analysis and improvement with cross layer power allocation in multirelay networks
Quality of service (QoS) guarantee is the main performance metric for designing future wireless networks. For real time applications over wireless links, statistical delay QoS guarantee is the most important QoS metrics. The main goal of this paper is studying the effects of multi‐decode‐and‐forward‐relaying transmission on delay QoS guarantee and user satisfaction. For this end, we first propose an approach to simplify the analysis of statistical delay QoS guarantee by the use of a curve named QoS analysis curve. The QoS analysis curve of any system is based on its effective capacity (EC) function. So, we derive a closed‐form expression for the EC function of a multi‐decode‐and‐forward‐relay network to reduce the computational complexity of finding this quantity. After that, for improving the QoS guarantee performance of a multi‐decode‐and‐forward‐relaying system, the EC of the system is maximized by the use of power allocation (PA) technique. At first, an adaptive PA (APA) algorithm is proposed in which the source and relays PA policies are derived analytically. Although, the overhead of this algorithm is large, it significantly improves the statistical delay QoS guarantee performance. Then, for the systems that cannot tolerate the required large overhead of APA, a fixed PA scheme is presented, which is based on particle swarm optimization algorithm. There is a tradeoff between providing the delay QoS guarantee and the required overhead, in selecting APA or fixed PA schemes. 基于IEEE 802.16协议,研究了宽带无线接入网中保障Qos的上行多用户多业务资源分配和调度问题.首先,对该问题建立跨层分析模型,即基于TDM-OFDMA物理层的多址接入队列调度模型.随后提出了基于凸优化方法的最小剩余聚合工作负载算法.可以证明,只要到达业务的QOS参数值在该算法的稳定域内,那么它就能渐进地保证业务的QoS要求,同时还能最小化调度系统的剩余聚合工作负载.仿真实验的数值结果进一步证明了本算法的确能够在可接受的复杂度范围内保证4类服务的Qos要求. 相似文献

Autonomic networking is one of the hot research topics in the research area of future net- work architectures. In this paper, we introduce context-aware and autonomic attributes into DiffServ QoS framework, and propose a novel autonomic packet marking (APM) algorithm. In the proposed autonomic QoS framework, APM is capable of collecting various QoS related contexts, and adaptively adjusting its behavior to provide better QoS guarantee according to users' requirements and network conditions. 随着科技进步,我国在应急通信系统建设上也正高速发展,当前应急通信网络对多媒体业务有着迫切需求,对网络带宽要求更高。而当网络存在多种不同业务时,传统通用的路由协议不再适用,它们大多以最小跳数为路由度量或者是某个单一度量,未能考虑不同业务的服务质量(Quality of Service, QoS)需求,因而无法同时兼顾不同业务流的传输要求。提出了一种应急通信中业务感知的宽带自组网路由策略,对不同类型业务在路由和转发优先级上进行区分。经多次仿真验证,该策略能使网络在满足应急语音业务QoS需求的同时,也能兼顾承载的视频、数据等其他业务的性能。 相似文献

This paper presents a QoS (quality of service) aware routing and power control algorithm consuming low transmission power for multimedia service over mobile ad hoc network. Generally, multimedia services need stringent QoS over the network. However, it is not easy to guarantee the QoS over mobile ad hoc network since its network resources are very limited and time‐varying. Furthermore, only a limited amount of power is available at mobile nodes, which makes the problem more challenging. We propose an effective routing and power control algorithm for multimedia services that satisfies end‐to‐end delay constraint with low transmission power consumption. The proposed algorithm supports the required bandwidth by controlling each link channel quality over route in a tolerable range. In addition, a simple but effective route maintenance mechanism is implemented to avoid link failures that may significantly degrade streaming video quality. Finally, performance comparison with existing algorithms is presented in respect to traditional routing performance metrics, and an achievable video quality comparison is provided to demonstrate the superiority of the proposed algorithm for multimedia services over mobile ad hoc network. 本文在定义支持多级QoS的弱硬实时系统周期任务模型的基础上,提出基于RM调度策略的弱硬实时调度算法DRM,它具备可调度判定不等式,不限定任务的QoS参数模式,并通过在调度的过程中动态调整任务的优先级来反映其紧迫程度.在系统过载时,DRM调度算法可以采用QoS退化机制,在保证紧要任务以及其所要求的最低QoS执行的同时,适当降低某些任务的服务等级,使得更多的任务可以有效运行,以此来提高系统对负载的适应性.最后,本文通过仿真实验,验证了DRM以及QoS退化机制的有效性. 相似文献
