随着用户对射频连接器性能要求的越来越高,以及对射频连接器的研发生产发周期亦越来越短的需求,作为产品设计师必须掌握更加高速的有效的连接器设计方法和思路.利用Ansoft公司的HFSS软件强大的电磁仿真功能,能够快速获得连接器的射频性能,极大地提高了设计的准确性和效率,能更好的服务用户,为用户提供高品质的射频连接器.本文通过为用户设计定制的2.92-KHD型射频连接器的过程,简述了HFSS软件在连接器设计过程中的重要作用,及仿真分析结果与产品实测结果的对比分析,给出了产品实测数据与仿真分析之间产生偏差的原因.  相似文献

本文从理论设计、仿真分析和产品测试三个方面对一种高速背板用高密度数据传输连接器进行了分析设计。通过对连接器差分信号的特征阻抗、串扰、插入损耗等参数的分析,对连接器的插针接触件、PCB传输线和介质体进行了设计。此外,采用电磁场与电路联合仿真的分析方法,从时域、频域和数据域三个方面对所设计的连接器进行了仿真分析。最后,通过测试夹具对所设计的连接器进行了信号完整性测试,测试结果表明:连接器具有良好在高速传输性能,在高速传输通信系统中具有良好的应用前景。  相似文献

A useful and rather new simulation technique for connectors up to 6.25 GHz is presented and discussed in this paper. The proposed model extracts electrical parameters of a connector using time-domain reflectometry (TDR) measurements. A new technique was developed to obtain accurate impedance profiles using TDR and a multisegment approach that is effectively a distributed coupled model. The parameter extraction and characterization of connectors are discussed. The performance of the proposed segmented transmission line model is verified by simulation of the model in SPICE and by experimental measurement. The results show that the proposed model can simulate the electrical characteristics, including crosstalk and impedance, of high-density and high-speed connectors with satisfactory accuracy. Based on the proposed modeling and CAD simulators, the design and analysis of complicated high-density and high-speed connectors can be executed accurately and effectively. Compared with other previous models, the proposed model can significantly improve the accuracy of simulation.  相似文献

A simulation tool in optical networks design and evaluation is suggested. This user friendly software, baptized “SystemBuild”, is a powerful tool to simulate optical fiber communication systems and can be easily used for both educational and research purposes. People modeling optical networks can use it to investigate the usefulness and the accuracy of their model as well as the performances of the system they intend to implement. This Web-based software needs neither a license nor an installation. Merely, a conventional Internet browser supporting Java plug-in is necessary. Moreover, the software can run in all platforms that include the Java Virtual Machine (jvm). Signals and values can be directly checked by moving the mouse pointer over the component’s connectors allowing an easy debugging and assistance to the users to build a complex system. The quality of collaboration is offered thanks to the free code access to the platform.  相似文献

An interconnect model, using the equivalent circuits derived from either the recursive or the nonrecursive evaluations of the convolution integral, is presented to show how arbitrary terminations can be efficiently handled in the high-frequency simulation environment. To achieve robustness in the recursive case, the impulse response is partitioned and Prony's method is applied to extract the exponentials. With the experimental data provided by scattering parameters, the model can be formulated for nonuniform lines, MCM connectors, etc. The equivalent circuit comprises of physically realizable elements available in general-purpose circuit simulators such as SPICE, and simulation performance for several case studies shows the applicability of this model to high-frequency circuit simulation and design.  相似文献

Electrical connectors play a significant role in the electronic and communication systems. As they are often exposed in the atmosphere environment, it is extremely easy for them to cause electrical contact failure. It is essential to carry out the reliability modeling and predict the lifetime. In the present work, the accelerated lifetime testing method which is on account of the uniform design method was designed to obtain the degradation data under multiple environmental stresses of temperature and particulate contamination for electrical connectors. Based on the degradation data, the pseudo life can be acquired. Then the reliability model was established by analyzing the pseudo life. Accordingly, the reliability function and reliable lifetime function were set up, and the reliable lifetime of the connectors under the multiple environment stresses of temperature and particulate contamination could be predicted for electrical connectors.  相似文献

Connector fretting propensity is generally evaluated through an exhaustive series of experimental tests, making the connector design and validation process time consuming and costly. Thus, a method using modeling and simulation techniques to predict the influence of various design factors on vibration-induced fretting propensity in electrical connectors would be very beneficial to those responsible for connector design and application. One approach is to use detailed finite element models for the connector system to relate the actual dynamics of the contact interface to the threshold vibration levels required for the onset of fretting and the relative motion transfer function. The present study describes one such model for a single tin-plated blade/receptacle connector pair. Concurrent simulation and experimental studies were performed to evaluate the threshold vibration levels as a function of excitation frequency, interface friction coefficient, and normal force. Good correlation between the experimentally observed results and those predicted by the models were obtained. Some insights and observations with regard to the effectiveness of such a modeling approach are also presented.  相似文献

SC-type single-mode optical fiber connectors specifically developed for subscriber loop networks are discussed. The properties and design of precision zirconia ceramic ferrules which have been found to be ideal for high-performance, low-cost single-mode optical fiber connectors are described. A design approach featuring a plastic-molded rectangular connector housing using a push-pull coupling mechanism which has also been found to be suitable for durable, compact, and low-cost connectors is presented. SC connectors used with 10/125 single-mode fibers exhibit insertion loss of 0.06 dB and return loss of 38.6 dB, with no degradation during and after mechanical and environmental tests. To realize higher packaging density, duplex-ferrule connectors, quadruple-ferrule connectors and optical attenuators have also been developed on the basis of the SC connector design  相似文献
