文章认为随着3G网络的部署,各种移动互联网业务的展开,网络的业务模式与运营模式发生深刻的变化,而智能手机成为这种变化的关键因素。相应地,应用安全管理框架、应用软件的安全认证机制、与其他设备之间的互联互通能力、动态电源管理等与未来智能手机技术走势密切相关,应当给予充分关注。新形式下,手机生产厂商将会逐渐向平台厂商转变,为运营商提供的是对业务的支持能力,包括硬件、协议、存储能力等,而不是具体的业务。运营商、互联网服务提供商则成为业务开发的主体。 相似文献

Some respondents already complete web surveys via mobile devices. These devices vary at several levels from PCs. In particular, we expect differences when grid questions are used due to the lower visibility on mobile devices and because in questionnaires optimized to be completed through smartphones, grids are split up into an item-by-item format.This paper reports the results of a two-wave experiment conducted in Spain in 2015, comparing three groups: PCs, smartphones not-optimized, or smartphones optimized.We found similar levels of interitem correlations, longer completion times for grid questions for smartphone respondents, and sometimes less non-differentiation for PCs. Thus, using the item-by-item format for smartphones and PCs seems the most appropriate way to improve comparability. 相似文献

VWorld is run by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport of South Korea and provides national spatial information, such as aerial images, digital elevation models, and 3D structural models. We propose herein an open platform for 3D spatial information based on WebGL using spatial information from VWorld. WebGL is a web‐based graphics library and has the advantage of being compatible with various web browsers. Our open platform is also compatible with various web browsers. Accordingly, it is easily accessible via the VWorld site and uses the three‐dimensional (3D) map program. In this study, we describe the proposed platform configuration, and the requests, management, and visualization approaches for VWorld spatial information data. Our aim is to establish an approach that will provide a stable rendering speed even on a low‐end personal computer without a graphics processing unit based on a quadtree structure. We expect that users will be able to visualize 3D spatial information through the VWorld open platform, and that the proposed platform will become the basis for various applications. 相似文献

Thanks to the availability of various mobile applications, lots of users shift from desktop environments, e.g., PCs and laptops, to mobile devices, e.g., smartphones and tablets. However, there are still some desktop applications without counterparts on mobile devices, such as some integrated development environments (e.g., eclipse) and automatic industry control systems. In this paper, we propose Modeap, a platform-independent mobile cloud service that can push all desktop applications developed for various operating systems from cloud servers to mobile devices. Modeap follows a design principle of complete detachment and regeneration of desktop user interface, i.e., the essential graphical primitives of the original desktop applications will be intercepted and then translated into standard web-based graphical primitives such that the interactions between users and remote cloud applications become possible via mobile web browsers. In this way, all desktop applications built upon the same set of graphical primitives can be used on mobile devices in great flexibility without installing any new software. We have developed a proof-of-concept prototype that provides Windows applications from cloud server to mobile web browsers. The results of extensive experiments show that the proposed framework can achieve our design goals with low latency and bandwidth consumption. 相似文献

传统的web应用使用专用的硬件资源,这些硬件资源仅为某种特定的应用提供服务。而在云计算环境下,许多不同的web应用需要共享云平台资源。因此,当将传统的web应用迁移到云平台下时,将会出现一系列的挑战,主要的问题是面对大量不同应用请求时的流量控制和负载均衡控制。基于此,提出了云计算环境下的分布式路由系统Distributed Routing System(DRS),DRS主要用于解决当许多web应用在云环境下同时运行时面临的流量控制和负载均衡问题。实验表明DRS能够有效地转发应用请求到后台轻负载服务器,并且有着较低的时延。 相似文献

Heart failure is a chronic disease that alternates intense and weak phases and requires repeated and frequent hospital treatments. The use of automatic instruments for a remote and ubiquitous monitoring of biological parameters relevant to heart failure pathophysiology offers new perspectives to improve the patients' quality of life and the efficacy of the treatment. The platform described in this paper represents an implementation of an automatic remote monitoring tool where smartphones play a crucial role. They are not employed just to communicate through traditional client‐server applications and they are not only the hub of information sent by sensors, but they also act as intelligent processors and autonomous sensors of the patients' motion through a high‐accuracy activity recognition algorithm. The proposed platform combines the evolution of health systems and the consequent needs of modern telemedicine with the current context‐aware capability of recent smartphones, obtained by implementing specific algorithmic solutions, and with the anything, anytime, and anywhere communication capability of the pervasive communications paradigm. Performance evaluation focuses on the accuracy of the activity recognition estimation, on its applicability to real life, and on the data exchange between smartphones and medical server, allowing to envisage the potential of the designed platform.
