We consider a general multiple-antenna network with multiple sources, multiple destinations, and multiple relays in terms of the diversity-multiplexing tradeoff (DMT). We examine several subcases of this most general problem taking into account the processing capability of the relays (half-duplex or full-duplex), and the network geometry (clustered or nonclustered). We first study the multiple-antenna relay channel with a full-duplex relay to understand the effect of increased degrees of freedom in the direct link. We find DMT upper bounds and investigate the achievable performance of decode-and-forward (DF), and compress-and-forward (CF) protocols. Our results suggest that while DF is DMT optimal when all terminals have one antenna each, it may not maintain its good performance when the degrees of freedom in the direct link are increased, whereas CF continues to perform optimally. We also study the multiple-antenna relay channel with a half-duplex relay. We show that the half-duplex DMT behavior can significantly be different from the full-duplex case. We find that CF is DMT optimal for half-duplex relaying as well, and is the first protocol known to achieve the half-duplex relay DMT. We next study the multiple-access relay channel (MARC) DMT. Finally, we investigate a system with a single source-destination pair and multiple relays, each node with a single antenna, and show that even under the ideal assumption of full-duplex relays and a clustered network, this virtual multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) system can never fully mimic a real MIMO DMT. For cooperative systems with multiple sources and multiple destinations the same limitation remains in effect.  相似文献

This paper investigates the rate performance of full-duplex (FD) relay systems under the effect of channel estimation error and residual loop-back interference. The study considers both one-way and two-way amplify and forward (AF) relaying schemes. Power allocation techniques, applied at the sources and the relay, are proposed and shown to be effective that leads to near optimal solution. Comparison between the half-duplex (HD) and FD systems using optimum power allocation are made. Also, the impact of channel estimation error and loop-back interference on the rate of FD transmission are compared. It is shown that the destructive effect of loop-back interference dominates the effect of channel estimation error. Finally, assuming a bidirectional network, the performance of two-way analog network coding (ANC) scheme is compared to the plan of using two one-way AF relaying connections. The results show that it is better to use FD ANC for low transmission power and HD one for high power than using two one-way relaying schemes.  相似文献

In an interference-limited system, the interference forwarding by a relay enhances the interference level and thereby enables the cancellation of the interference. In this work, interference forwarding by a half-duplex dynamic decode-and-forward (HD DDF) relay in a two-user Z-channel is considered. In the two-user Z-channel, one user is interference-limited while the other user is interference-free. The diversity gain region (DGR), which characterizes the tradeoff between the achievable diversity orders between the two users, is an appropriate performance metric for the Z-channel. Closed-form expression for the achievable DGR with the interference forwarding by the HD DDF relay is presented. The multiplexing gain regions (MGRs) where the HD DDF protocol achieves better DGR over the direct transmission scheme, full-duplex decode-and-forward (FD DF) and FD partial DF relay assisted Z- channel are identified. The HD DDF protocol is shown to achieve better DGR than the FD DF and FD PDF relay for a large range of MGR. The achievable DGRs for the HD DDF, FD DF, and FD PDF relay-assisted Z-channel and direct transmission scheme are presented for various interference levels and multiplexing gain pairs.  相似文献

在无线携能(SWIPT)网络中,带有缓存队列的一对半双工SWIPT中继可以在一个时隙内完成信息同时收发,实现虚拟全双工通信。针对SWIPT虚拟全双工网络的资源分配问题,该文研究了缓存队列机制的最佳SWIPT中继选择与子载波能量分配方案。首先建立数学模型,参考注水因子辅助搜索算法,以最大化能效为目标,在满足能量、信息传输速率、最佳接收中继干扰等多个约束条件下,通过求解优化问题选择SWIPT最佳转发中继,同时得到最佳转发中继的子载波能量分配最优解。仿真结果表明,与最大化端到端可达速率为目标的联合资源分配算法相比,所提方案考虑了SWIPT网络中继间干扰。且当源端发送功率较大时,所提方案可以获得较高的能效。   相似文献

为了更好地抑制全双工多入多出技术(MIMO)中继系统的自干扰,提高信息传输速率,提出了一种新型的波束成型组合算法。该组合在源节点和目的节点采用奇异值分解的波束成型向量,而在中继站采用基于最大化信干噪比接收波束成型来抑制中继端的自干扰,以及最大化信泄噪比发射波束成型矩阵来减少中继发送端泄漏到中继接收机的信号组合波束成型算法。为了降低复杂度,随后引入了交替迭代结构来进一步优化中继接收和发送波束成型矩阵,并比较了不同组合波束成型方案的和速率性能。仿真结果表明,与现存的波束成型组合相比,当干噪比较低时,提出的组合算法能够提供更优的和速率性能。  相似文献

In this paper, we develop capacity approaching turbo coding schemes for half-duplex relay systems as an extension of our previous work on coding for full-duplex relays. We consider the use of specific signal constellations (e.g., binary phase-shift keying) in transmission, develop practical coding schemes to be used at the source and the relay nodes, and describe a suitable information combining technique at the destination node. Unlike the full-duplex relay systems, the destination node does not perform joint decoding of multiple consecutive blocks; instead, it works with one frame at a time. Furthermore, for the half-duplex relaying scheme, the optimization of the length of the listening period for the relay node is an issue. By utilizing the information theoretical tools, we perform this optimization, and use it in our development of capacity approaching coding/decoding schemes. Specifically, when the fraction of time turns out to be less than the transmission rate, the relay node is unable to decode all the information bits transmitted, and a partial decoding approach has to be used. Through a comprehensive set of examples, we observe that the proposed scheme is promising to approach the corresponding information theoretical limits (bounds). In particular, for all the cases studied, we have obtained bit error rates of $10^{-5}$ or lower within 1–1.5 dB (in most cases, around within 1.2 dB) of the constrained capacity under a variety of channel conditions. Extensions of the proposed scheme to coded modulation and to multiple-input multiple-output systems are also described.   相似文献

User cooperation is a powerful tool to combat fading and increase robustness for communication over wireless channels. Although it is doubtless a promising technique for enhancing channel reliability, its performance in terms of average source distortion is not clear since source-channel separation theorem fails under the most common nonergodic slow-fading channel assumption, when channel state information (CSI) is only available at the receiving terminals. This work sheds some light on the end-to-end performance of joint source-channel coding for cooperative relay systems in the high signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) regime. Considering distortion exponent as a figure of merit, we propose various strategies for cooperative source and channel coding that significantly improve the performance compared to the conventional scheme of source coding followed by cooperative channel coding. We characterize the optimal distortion exponent of a full-duplex relay channel for all bandwidth ratios. For the half-duplex relay channel, we provide an upper bound which is tight for small and large bandwidth ratios. We consider the effect of correlated side information on the distortion exponent as well.  相似文献

To alleviate the shortage of spectrum resources and improve the power utilization of cognitive radio networks,a resource allocation algorithm of full duplex cognitive relay networks with energy harvesting was proposed.In the algorithm,the coefficient for power splitting of the relay and the transmit power of the secondary users were jointly optimized to maximize the throughput of the secondary users under the interference to primary users and energy harvesting constraints.Since the optimization of the algorithm was non-convex,it was transformed into two sub-optimizations,the sub-optimization of the coefficient for power splitting and the sub-optimization of the power transmitted of secondary users,which were the solvable convex sub-optimizations.Then,the final solution of the original optimization was obtained with the iterative algorithm.Simulation results show that the throughput of the proposed algorithm,can obtain 2 times throughput of the networks with half-duplex power splitting algorithm and 1.5 times throughput of the networks with full-duplex time switching algorithm.  相似文献

Resource allocation is investigated for fading relay channels under separate power constraints at the source and relay nodes. As a basic information-theoretic model for fading relay channels, the parallel relay channel is first studied, which consists of multiple independent three-terminal relay channels as subchannels. Lower and upper bounds on the capacity are derived, and are shown to match, and thus establish the capacity for the parallel relay channel with degraded subchannels. This capacity theorem is further demonstrated via the Gaussian parallel relay channel with degraded subchannels, for which the synchronized and asynchronized capacities are obtained. The capacity-achieving power allocation at the source and relay nodes among the subchannels is partially characterized for the synchronized case and fully characterized for the asynchronized case. The fading relay channel is then studied, which is based on the three-terminal relay channel with each communication link being corrupted by a multiplicative fading gain coefficient as well as an additive Gaussian noise term. For each link, the fading state information is assumed to be known at both the transmitter and the receiver. The source and relay nodes are allowed to allocate their power adaptively according to the instantaneous channel state information. The source and relay nodes are assumed to be subject to separate power constraints. For both the full-duplex and half-duplex cases, power allocations that maximize the achievable rates are obtained. In the half-duplex case, the power allocation needs to be jointly optimized with the channel resource (time and bandwidth) allocation between the two orthogonal channels over which the relay node transmits and receives. In this paper, we present a hierarchical modulation-based cooperation (HMC) scheme to overcome capacity degradation due to half-duplex transmissions in conventional cooperative relay systems. In the HMC scheme, two relay terminals are used for both transmit and receive operations, i.e., full-duplex transmission. This scheme reduces the required number of time slots for cooperation. Utilizing this cooperative mechanism, the HMC scheme achieves cooperative diversity at the destination node by combining the signals delivered from the source and relay nodes. In addition, we derive a closed form of the end-to-end bit error rate for the HMC scheme, which is utilized to determine an optimal power ratio for hierarchical signals at the source node. In concurrence with the HMC scheme, we develop the best relay selection scheme for a practical wireless communication networks.  相似文献

针对多跳中继传输系统的信息安全传输问题,提出了一种基于全双工模式下多节点协作干扰(FD-MCJ)的物理层安全传输方案。该方案利用通信网络中的中继节点发送干扰信号恶化窃听节点的接收性能,同时中继节点根据信道状态信息(Channel State Information, CSI)自适应的选择两种情况下的安全传输方案。本文首先利用泊松点过程对窃听节点位置进行安全建模;然后,根据CSI可用程度,给出不同的安全传输具体方案,在考虑系统的跳数、天线间自干扰以及发射功率和干扰功率等因素下,推导FD-MCJ方案下系统保密中断概率的闭式解;最后,数值分析和蒙特卡洛仿真表明,理论推导的正确性以及多跳中继系统中采用全双工多节点协作干扰方案能够有效提升系统安全性能。   相似文献

在多中继协作通信系统中,提出一种基于放大转发协议的全双工中继选择算法并进行了相应的理论分析。由于全双工中继中自干扰的存在,为保证通信的质量,首先利用传统的最大化边界信干噪比算法选择一个中继,然后利用中继的最优功率放大因子来减小自干扰对系统的不利影响。基于最优放大因子的全双工中继选择方案在系统中断概率、中继节点功率消耗、目的节点接收信干噪比方面都优于采用最大化边界信干噪比的系统。最后,我们利用蒙特卡洛仿真结果证明了该选择算法的优势。   相似文献

在存在一个半双工自适应窃听者的通信模型中,分析了采用非正交多址(Non-orthogonal Multiple Access,NOMA)技术合作系统的性能。提出了一种新型的合作NOMA方案,该方案在中继转发时,强用户可充当中继协助转发弱用户信号,而弱用户采用全双工技术向窃听者发送干扰信号,提高了通信链路的安全性和用户的服务质量。合法接收端采用连续干扰消除(SIC)技术,以解码来自叠加信号的各个消息。在已知窃听信道统计信道状态信息(CSI)的情况下,分别推导了2个用户的安全中断概率和中断概率的闭合表达式,并通过Monte-Carlo仿真验证。理论分析和数值模拟结果均表明所提出的NOMA用户合作方案在保密率方面优于非合作方案的性能。  相似文献

为了优化双向单中继全双工系统的能效,在中继节点引入无线携能技术,提出了一个双向无线携能全双工中继系统。该系统中继节点以功率分割方式进行能量收集,将收集的能量用于解码转发,在保证用户的服务质量需求下,将能效优化问题转化为能量消耗最小的优化问题,依据传输时隙以及各时隙信道容量需求进一步划分为两个子优化问题;然后,以能效最大化为目标,根据各时隙的信道容量求出传输功率,利用解码转发特性求出传输时间和功率分割因子,得出能效最优解。仿真表明,所提出的双向无线携能全双工中继系统的能效是单向无线携能全双工系统的1.3倍、双向全双工放大转发中继系统的2倍和双向全双工解码转发中继系统的2.6倍。   相似文献

To alleviate the spectrum shortage problem and security threats in heterogeneous network (HetNet),multi-antenna full-duplex relay was introduced for communication between femto base station (FBS) and legitimate user.With the aid of multi-antenna full-duplex relay in FBS network,the secrecy performance of HetNets could be improved.Under a stochastic geometry framework,the fundamental analysis model to evaluate the secrecy performance in multi-antenna full-duplex relay aided HetNet was set up.To be specific,the exact expressions for the secrecy outage probability of the typical user,serving relays and HetNet were derived respectively.Then,based on the theoretical analyses and simulation results,the influences of transmit power and antenna number of both macro base station and FBS on secrecy performance in HetNet were examined.Finally,the results show that introducing multi-antenna full-duplex relay for FBS networks improves the secrecy performance of HetNet.  相似文献

When multiple single-antenna half-duplex (HD) nodes communicate with a full-duplex (FD) base station equipped with multiple transmit and receive antennas, the uplink nodes would generate inter-node interference (INI) on the downlink nodes. We propose a base station assisted INI suppression scheme. The scheme is to design a proper amplify-and-forward matrix at the base station so that the sum achievable rate of the uplink and downlink is maximized. We derive the close-form expression of the amplify-and-forward matrix, which is the product of a parameter optimization and a zero-forcing beamforming (ZFBF) matrices. Finally, we investigate the performance of the proposed INI suppression scheme in a single cell.  相似文献

基于分布式天线的全双工中继系统结合了全双工中继两跳同时同频传输的能力和分布式天线高效覆盖的特性,为提升小区边缘和严重阴影衰落区域的频谱效率提供了一种有效途径。在自干扰抵消非理想的多用户场景下,利用分布式多天线波束成形可实现对系统中自干扰和多用户干扰的联合抑制。为此,该文首先建立了在各分布式天线节点独立发射功率约束下最大化多用户端到端和速率的最优化系统模型,进而提出一种双层迭代算法,解决原问题的非凸性求解难题。仿真结果验证了算法的有效性,表明在多用户分布式天线全双工中继系统中,所提波束成形设计能够有效抑制自干扰和多用户干扰,显著提高系统频谱效率。  相似文献
