DF/HF化学激光器需要体积庞大的压力恢复系统才能够工作。为了综合考虑激光器和压力恢复系统一体化设计,对DF/HF化学激光器的两种喷管的内流场采用了CFD技术进行了模拟,比较了它们的总压损失的差别和内流场的不同,并讨论了这种不同对整个激光器性能的影响。计算结果表明,细喉道的喷管不但有利于减小激光器增益发生器的尺寸,而且它的总压损失近似于标准喷管,从而不会增加激光器后部压力恢复系统的体积。  相似文献

The pure effects of strain in strained-layer InGaAs-InGaAsP multiple-quantum-well (MQW) Fabry-Perot (FP) lasers operating in the 1.5 μm region are measured separately from the quantum effects by using lasers whose active layer wells have the same thickness but different amounts of strain. The gain peak wavelengths of transverse electric (TE) and transverse magnetic (TM) modes and the difference between TE- and TM-mode gain peak wavelengths increase when compressive strain is introduced. The differential gain coefficient and the gain saturation coefficient of the lasers are determined by measuring relative intensity noise (RIN) spectra and are found to increase with increasing compressive strain. 原子干涉仪通常采取拉曼脉冲序列对原子波包进行相干操作,高功率的拉曼光可让更多的原子参与速度敏感型受激拉曼跃迁,有利于实现信噪比高的原子干涉仪条纹。研制高功率的拉曼激光器对冷原子干涉仪的实验研究具有重要意义,文章报道了基于注入锁定技术实现的高功率拉曼激光器的实验结果。主激光器经过1.5 GHz声光调制器产生1级衍射光作为拉曼光的种子光,注入到两个从激光器后锁定,并实现功率放大。两个拉曼光的频率相差3.0 GHz,频率调谐范围为200 MHz。  相似文献

The wavelength tuning properties of strained InGaAs quantum well lasers using an external grating for feedback is reported. Tunable laser oscillation has been observed over a range of 170 nm, between 840 and 1010 nm, under pulsed current excitation. The optimal conditions for broadband tunability for the InGaAs lasers are different from GaAs lasers, which is attributed to a difference in spectral gain curves. Together with an optimised GaAs quantum well laser the entire region between 740 and 1010 nm is spanned.<>  相似文献

针对多机编队空对地激光制导精确打击时激光角度欺骗干扰问题,对多目标时指示激光信号的方位和编码特征进行了理论研究。结果表明:当指示激光信号时间差小于任一信号的重复周期且信号的重复周期为整数倍关系,或者指示激光信号时间差大于激光欺骗干扰设备解码时间时,激光欺骗干扰设备可以对组合信号进行解码,并分析了相应干扰方法。上述两种情况之外则会组合为伪随机序列码信号,激光欺骗干扰设备不能正确解码及实施干扰。  相似文献

A formula is given for the natural linewidth of high-gain lasers, which is applicable to arbitrary three-dimensional geometries. This formula agrees with Petermann's result for lasers with transversely inhomogeneous gains (K-factor) and with previous results for the effect of small mirror reflectivities. It does not agree with the Schawlow-Townes (ST) formula used by most authors in evaluating the ?=?nr/?ni factor of conventional semiconductor lasers. The difference between the two formulas is significant when the mirror power reflectivity is less than about 0.6. Furthermore, the modified formula gives directly the linewidth of lasers coupled to long external cavities. Saturation effects, however, are neglected in this letter.  相似文献

Detailed measurements of the lock band for injection-locked semiconductor lasers are discussed. The results are presented as fringe visibility versus frequency difference versus coupling. Fringe visibility is obtained by interfacing equal-intensity portions of the radiation from the master and slave lasers. A theoretical model that correlates well with the data is presented. Both theory and experiment amply demonstrate the influence of antiguiding on the structure of the injection-lock band  相似文献

We studied mutual injection locking of two individual continuous-wave$hbox Nd:hbox YVO_4$lasers that were coupled through an external section. The two lasers lased at the same wavelength with a stable output power and interference fringes with high contrast ratio in the combined beam profile showed good mutual coherence of the two lasers. Mutual injection locking was also achieved without active stabilization for individual lasers with a large cavity length difference and low$Q$-factors. The calculated combined output power under symmetric pumping agreed with the experimental results. Even when output couplings of individual lasers are not optimized, the output coupling of the combining section can be optimized to make the extracted power very close to the sum of maximum powers that can be extracted from individual free running lasers under optimal output coupling.  相似文献
