在北东东向分布的华南地震带内,从巴士海峡到闽粤赣三省交界有呈北西向分布的地震密集带。它与北西向分布的巴士系断裂构造相一致。此组构造与华南地区其他北西向构造的重要区别在于,它起自菲律宾海板块的边缘,其动力主要来自该板块向欧亚板块不均匀的推挤作用。巴士系构造是华南地区新构造活动性最强的构造,沿着此组断裂曾有过大量强烈的地震活(?),包括6级、7级和8级地震。在未来10年内,此带的强震活动有逼近粤东、闽南沿海地区的趋势。  相似文献

卫星图像分析显示 ,青藏高原东北隅存在非常清晰的毛毛山 -南华山 -六盘山、香山 -天景山、烟筒山、牛首山 -罗山 4条弧形断裂带和南鄂尔多斯环形构造。分析了弧形构造的运动特征和南鄂尔多斯环形构造的形态 ,认为青藏高原东北隅弧束断裂的成因是印度板块向NNE俯冲导致青藏高原NEE向移动所产生的推挤力 ,受到南鄂尔多斯环形构造的阻挡 ,形成了 4条向固原、泾原收敛 ,向NWW、NW方向撒开的弧束断裂。造成撒开部分NWW—NNW向断裂左旋走滑、NW—SN向断裂右旋走滑、收敛部分逆冲挤压的特  相似文献

海丰震区发育着规模宏大的 NE 向海丰——梅陇断裂及一系列与其平行的次级断裂.同时,还存在与其共轭的断续分布的 NW 向断裂.震群中的三个子群的主震的震源机制解非常类似,其中一节面为 NE,另一节面为 NW.从余震的空间分布及极震区的长轴方向来看,2月26日 ML3.3和4月9日 MLL,4.2地震的断层面为 NE 向;而3月14日 ML,3.4地震,其断层面应取 NW 向.又据137个小震的四个台的 P 波初动符号的组合特征,可划分为八个类型并作出相应的迭加震源机制解.综上所述,本区破裂过程,主震及Ⅰ、Ⅳ 类地震是岩块沿NE 及 NW 向共轭构造的粘滑;Ⅱ——Ⅴ、Ⅶ、Ⅷ 类地震是岩块在粘滑过程中对前后邻接岩块引起平行滑动方向的挤压(前)和引张(后)的转换应力场所产生的剪切破裂.   相似文献

渤海是我国东部陆缘海湾地震活动性最高的地区。研究渤海的地震活动特征,对探讨我国沿海地震的成因、沿海现代地质构造活动性质以及海洋石油开发都有一定意义。本文研究了渤海的历史地震资料,除中国大地震目录已发表的地震外,本文新增补了2次6—61/2级地震和3次5级左右地震。讨论了1969年渤海大地震的震源深度,大地震目录给出的深度为35公里(位于地壳以下)。根据其他作者的最新测定的结果和作者等人重新测定的微震震源深度,认为1969年渤海大地震的震源深度为25公里较合适,渤海地震都位于地壳以内。渤海地震活动的时间分布与华北地震区完全一致,渤海地震是华北地震区的一部分。渤海内部的现代构造运动是以水平构造应力场作用下的走滑运动为主要特征。渤海地震活动与北北东向的郯庐断裂的右旋走滑活动以及与其共轭的北西西断裂的左旋走滑活动有关。  相似文献

—?Source parameters for thirteen earthquakes in the SE Adriatic region have been determined using P and SH body-waveform inversion. The results of this modeling are combined with eleven other earthquakes with M?≥?5 whose focal mechanisms have been determined mainly by waveform modeling. The results confirm that movement on mainly low-angle reverse faults causes the deformation in coastal southern Yugoslavia through Albania up to the Lefkada Island in NW Greece. This zone of thrusting has a NW–SE trend (N34°W), follows the coastline, and dips towards the continent. The slip vectors of these events trend at ~N229° along the Dalmatian coasts, to ~N247° along Albania and NW Greece. The deformation is attributed to the continental collision between the Adriatic block to the west and Eurasia to the east. Along the mountain line in eastern Albania (Albanides Mts.) and in NW Greece (Hellenides Mts.), E–W extension is occurring. The E–W extension associated with the orogenic belt could be attributed to a variety of models such as: gravity, internal deformation of the thrust wedge, a probable down bulge of the dense lithosphere of the Adriatic block beneath the Eurasian lithospheric plate in combination with the compressional stresses applied along the collision belt.  相似文献

In this paper we discuss the seismogenic structures of the two earthquakes occurring in the Beibu Gulf waters,based on the investigation of geological structure,faults,geophysical fields,seismicity and earthquake focal mechanism.The results show that the NEE trending faults along the boundary of the Wushi depression are the dominating seismogenic structures,and the NW trending faults are the key factors of stress concentration.The results also show that high seismicity has a significant relationship with the late Cenozoic deposition center in the Beibu Gulf,and their NE-NEE trending boundary faults are important to the identification of seismogenic structures.The special arcuate fault segment or the intersection point of the NW trending faults and NE-NEE trending boundary faults is a possible location of future earthquakes.  相似文献

Detailed analysis of intensity for ten damaging historical earthquakes in the central arcuate belt between the Himachal and Darjeeling Himalayas was carried out in the backdrop of isoseismal eccentricity, source depth and Indian plate obliquity. Results indicate that the elongated axes of the isoseismals and strike of ruptures for shallow earthquakes are almost parallel with strike of the Himalayan arc, and clearly conformable with the obliquity. An empirical power law relationship between eccentricity and focal depth established under the present study illustrates that the deeper events are more influenced by the bending of the penetrating Indian lithosphere, whereas the shallower events are principally controlled by the obliquity. A positive correlation between eccentricities and obliquity obviously supports this inference. The present study further reveals that the constant decrease in Indian plate obliquity from Himachal to Nepal-Bihar Himalaya is well compatible with the graben structures and horizontal shearing along this arcuate segment.  相似文献

根据1999~2009年网络工程GPS观测资料计算得到的应变率参数,研究了中国大陆地壳的应变应力场及其地壳现今的水平活动特征。结果表明,中国大陆地壳西部青藏亚板块的压应力主方向围绕藏南和阿萨姆构造结向北、东、南依次辐射撒开。新疆亚板块自西向东由近SN向变为NE向。中国大陆东部地壳的压应力主方向自北向南由NEE变为近EW向,再变为SEE向。中国大陆主压应力作用强度西部显著大于东部。中国大陆地壳西部强于东部,南部强于北部,现今西部地壳以挤压、走滑为主,东部地壳既有挤压、走滑,也有拉张。  相似文献
