Linear and nonlinear dielectric studies of AgNb(1-x)Ta(x)O(3) (ATN) ceramics (x ≤ 0.6) were carried out in the temperature range of 80 to 673K. The temperature dependences of third-order nonlinear electric susceptibility X3'(T) exhibit two distinct maxima: at the temperature of the weak ferroelectric phase appearance, M(1)-M(2) transition, and at the temperature of the Nb/Ta ion dynamics freezing, Tf. For AgNbO3, they appear at 325K and 448K, respectively. With increasing Ta concentration, both maxima shift toward lower temperature: 4K/%Ta (M(1)-M(2)) and 5.6K/%Ta (T(f)). The X3' (T) maxima indicate changes of the Nb/Ta ion dynamics and their contribution to electric susceptibility. At T(f), a partial freezing of the Nb/Ta ion displacements to the disordered antipolar, antiferroelectric array takes place. At the M(1)-M(2) transition, further freezing of Nb/Ta displacements to polar weak relaxor ferroelectric or dipolar glass transition occurs. This polar state coexists with the ground antiferroelectric state. Studies of the aging process showed that below T(f) the aging influence on electric susceptibility is substantial, whereas above Tf it may be neglected. This means that for ATN ceramics in the concentration range used for applications, there is no aging process in the room temperature region, which is an additional advantage of this system.  相似文献

The measurement of continuous wave fields by a digital (pixellated) screen of sensors can be used to assess the quality of a beam by finding its formant modes. A generic continuous field F(x, y) sampled at an N × N Cartesian grid of point sensors on a plane yields a matrix of values F(q(x), q(y)), where (q(x), q(y)) are integer coordinates. When the approximate rotational symmetry of the input field is important, one may use the sampled Laguerre-Gauss functions, with radial and angular modes (n, m), to analyze them into their corresponding coefficients F(n, m) of energy and angular momentum (E-AM). The sampled E-AM modes span an N2-dimensional space, but are not orthogonal--except for parity. In this paper, we propose the properly orthonormal "Laguerre-Kravchuk" discrete functions Λ(n, m)(q(x), q(y)) as a convenient basis to analyze the sampled beams into their E-AM polar modes, and with them synthesize the input image exactly.  相似文献

We carefully evaluate how porous silicon (pSi) surface oxidation by ozone (O(3)) and the resulting changes in nanocrystallite surface chemistries (e.g., SiOSi, SiH(x) (x = 1-3), O(y)SiH (y = 1-2), and SiOH) influence the pSi photoluminescence (PL). We discover a relationship between the pSi PL and the O(2)SiH band amplitude.  相似文献

We consider two inverse problems for estimating radiative coefficients α(x) and α(x, y), respectively, in Tt(x, t) = Txx(x, t)-α(x)T(x, t), and Tt(x, y, t) = Txx(x, y, t) + Tyy(x, y, t)-α(x, y)T(x, y, t), where a are assumed to be continuous functions of space variables. A Lie-group adaptive method is developed, which can be used to find a at the spatially discretized points, where we only utilize the initial condition and boundary conditions, such as those for a typical direct problem. This point is quite different from other methods, which need the overspecified final time data. Three-fold advantages can be gained by the present Lie-group adaptive method (LGAM): (i) no a priori information of radiative coefficients is required, (ii) no extra data are measured, and (iii) no complicated procedure is involved. The accuracy and efficiency of present method are confirmed by comparing the estimated results with some exact solutions for 1-D and 2-D cases.  相似文献

In this study, the activity concentrations of some radionuclides in tap water samples of the Eastern Black Sea region of Turkey were measured. The activity concentrations of radionuclides (214)Pb, (214)Bi, (40)K, (226)Ra and (137)Cs were determined using high resolution gamma ray spectrometry. Furthermore, (222)Rn activity concentrations in tap water samples were measured using Liquid Scintillation Counting. The mean specific activities of (214)Pb, (214)Bi, (226)Ra, (40)K, (137)Cs and (222)Rn in tap water samples were 6.73, 6, 19.16, 168.57, 5.45 mBq l(-1) and 10.82 Bq l(-1), respectively. These values are comparable with concentrations reported for other countries. The effective doses were determined due to intake of these radionuclides as a consequence of direct consumption of tap water samples. The estimated effective doses were 6.878 x 10(-4) microSv y(-1) for (214)Pb, 4.800 x 10(-4) microSv y(-1) for (214)Bi, 3.916 microSv y(-1) for (226)Ra, 0.763 microSv y(-1) for (40)K, 0.052 microSv y(-1) for (137)Cs and 5.848 microSv y(-1) for (222)Rn.  相似文献

Abstract

In this paper, we are concerned with the stability robustness of characteristic polynomials with perturbed coefficients for linear discrete‐time systems. An upper bound on the allowable coefficient perturbation of a Schur polynomial with retaining stability is obtained. The proposed upper bound is directly formulated in terms of the polynomial under consideration and its value can be determined by numerical computation. 采用Navier-Stokes (NS)方程对激波诱导扰动界面的Richtmyer-Meshkov (RM)不稳定增长过程进行了二维数值模拟,分析了初始扰动条件对反射波前后界面扰动增长的影响,并与已有的模型预测结果进行了对比和分析。研究结果发现:单模初始的扰动振幅和扰动波长都直接影响反射波前后的界面增长速率;多模随机初始的扰动振幅和扰动波长对于反射波前后界面增长的影响没有单模扰动明显,其扰动增长行为均和单模大波长扰动的增长行为相似。  相似文献

When flowing at a low shear rate, blood appears hyperechogenic on ultrasound B-scans. The formation of red blood cell (RBC) aggregates that also alters blood viscosity is the microscopic mechanism explaining this acoustical phenomenon. In this study, Monte Carlo simulations were performed to predict how RBC clustering increases ultrasound scattering by blood. A bidimensional Gibbs-Markov random point process parameterized by the adhesion energy epsilon and an anisotropy index nu was used to describe RBC positions for a hematocrit H = 40%. The frequency dependence of the backscattering coefficient chi(f) was computed using Born approximation. The backscattering coefficient chi0 at 5 MHz and the spectral slopes n(x) and n(y) (chi alpha f(nx) or f(ny)) measured, respectively, when the insonification is parallel and perpendicular with the RBC cluster axis were then extracted. Under isotropic conditions, chi0 increased up to 7 dB with epsilon and n(x) = n(y) decreased from 4.2 to 3.4. Under anisotropic conditions, the backscattering was stronger perpendicularly to aggregate axis, resulting in n(x) < n(y). The anisotropy in scattering appeared more pronounced when epsilon or nu increased. These two dimensional results generally predict that low-frequency blood backscatter is related to cluster dimension, and higher-frequency properties are affected by finer morphological features as anisotropy. This numerically establishes that ultrasound backscatter spectroscopy on a large frequency range is pertinent to characterize in situ hemorheology.  相似文献

The phase-transition temperatures and piezoelectric properties of x(Bi(1/2)Na(1/2))TiO3-y(Bi(1/2)Li(1/2))TiO3-z(Bi(1/2)K(1/2))TiO3 [x + y + z = 1] (abbreviated as BNLKT100(y)-100(z)) ceramics were investigated. These ceramics were prepared using a conventional ceramic fabrication process. The phase-transition temperatures such as depolarization temperatures T(d), rhombohedraltetragonal phase transition temperature T(R-T), and dielectric-maximum temperature T(m) were determined using electrical measurements such as dielectric and piezoelectric properties. The X-ray powder diffraction patterns of BNLKT100(y)-100(z)) show the morphotropic phase boundary (MPB) between rhombohedral and tetragonal at approximately z = 0.20, and the piezoelectric properties show the maximum at the MPB. The electromechanical coupling factor k(33), piezoelectric constant d(33) and T(d) of BNLKT4-20 and BNLKT8-20 were 0.603, 176 pC/N, and 171 degrees C, and 0.590, 190 pC/N, and 115 degrees C, respectively. In addition, the relationship between d33 and Td of tetragonal side and rhombohedral side for BNLKT4-100z and BNLKT8-100z were presented. Considering both high Td and high d(33), the tetragonal side of BNLKT4-100z is thought to be the superior composition. The d(33) and T(d) of BNLKT4-28 were 135 pC/N and 218 degrees C, respectively. Moreover, this study revealed that the variation of T(d) is related to the variation of lattice distortion such as rhombohedrality 90-alpha and tetragonality c/a.  相似文献

In the paraxial regime of three-dimensional optics, two evolution Hamiltonians are equivalent when one can be transformed to the other modulo scale by similarity through an optical system. To determine the equivalence sets of paraxial optical Hamiltonians one requires the orbit analysis of the algebra sp(4, R) of 4 x 4 real Hamiltonian matrices. Our strategy uses instead the isomorphic algebra so(3, 2) of 5 x 5 matrices with metric (+1, +1, +1, -1, -1) to find four orbit regions (strata), six isolated orbits at their boundaries, and six degenerate orbits at their common point. We thus resolve the degeneracies of the eigenvalue classification.  相似文献

We describe the accurate measurement of the radius of curvature of a concave mirror in a Fabry-Perot interferometer with a finesse of 78,100. The radius of curvature of the concave mirror is determined by measuring the free spectral range and the transverse-mode range with the frequency response functions. The radii of curvature at two orthogonal (x and y) axes on the mirror surface resulting from the polishing nonisotropy were accurately measured to be r(x) = 1008.46 mm and r(y) = 1006.94 mm, respectively, with an accuracy of 8 × 10(-5). This accuracy is the best to our knowledge. The power dependence of the radii of curvature to the cavity internal intensity at a steady state was measured to be dr(x)/dI(c) = +60 μm/(MW/cm(2)) at the x axis and dr(y)/dI(c) = +47 μm/(MW/cm/(2)) at the y axis to an intensity of 2.1 MW/cm(2).  相似文献

Herein, we present a lithium-doped fullerane (Li(x)-C(60)-H(y)) that is capable of reversibly storing hydrogen through chemisorption at elevated temperatures and pressures. This system is unique in that hydrogen is closely associated with lithium and carbon upon rehydrogenation of the material and that the weight percent of H(2) stored in the material is intimately linked to the stoichiometric ratio of Li:C(60) in the material. Characterization of the material (IR, Raman, UV-vis, XRD, LDI-TOF-MS, and NMR) indicates that a lithium-doped fullerane is formed upon rehydrogenation in which the active hydrogen storage material is similar to a hydrogenated fullerene. Under optimized conditions, a lithium-doped fullerane with a Li:C(60) mole ratio of 6:1 can reversibly desorb up to 5 wt % H(2) with an onset temperature of ~270 °C, which is significantly less than the desorption temperature of hydrogenated fullerenes (C(60)H(x)) and pure lithium hydride (decomposition temperature 500-600 and 670 °C respectively). However, our Li(x)-C(60)-H(y) system does not suffer from the same drawbacks as typical hydrogenated fullerenes (high desorption T and release of hydrocarbons) because the fullerene cage remains mostly intact and is only slightly modified during multiple hydrogen desorption/absorption cycles. We also observed a reversible phase transition of C(60) in the material from face-centered cubic to body-centered cubic at high levels of hydrogenation.  相似文献

Cd(1-x)Mn(x)S nanocrystals (NCs) were successfully grown in a glass matrix and investigated by photoluminescence (PL), electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) and magnetic force microscopy (MFM). We verified that the luminescent properties of these NCs can be controlled both by changing the x concentration and by thermal annealing of the samples. The EPR and PL data showed that the characteristic emission of Mn(2+) ions ((4)T(1)-(6)A(1)) is only observed when this magnetic impurity is substitutionally incorporated in the Cd(1-x)Mn(x)S NC core (site S(I)). Besides, it was observed that the emission ((4)T(1)-(6)A(1)) suppression, caused by the Mn(2+) ion presence near the surface (site S(II)) of the Cd(1-x)Mn(x)S NCs, is independent of the host material. The MFM images also confirmed the high quality of the Cd(1 - x)Mn(x)S NC samples, showing a uniform distribution of total magnetic moments in the nanoparticles.  相似文献

In the framework of geometrical optics we consider a two-dimensional transparent inhomogeneous isotropic medium (dispersive or not). We show that (i) for any family belonging to a certain class of planar monoparametric families of monochromatic light rays given in the form f(x,y)=c of any definite color and satisfying a differential condition, all the refractive index profiles n=n(x,y) allowing for the creation of the given family can be found analytically (inverse problem) and that (ii) for any member of a class of two-dimensional refractive index profiles n=n(x,y) satisfying a differential condition, all the compatible families of light rays can be found analytically (direct problem).
