利用国产1.48μm泵浦LD和优质掺饵光纤研制了一种实用化的掺饵光纤放大器,小信号净增益28dB,噪声系数5.1dB,增益谱宽大于20nm,最大输出功率达4.8dBm和11dBm。实验研究了EDFA在FM/FDM模拟电视光纤系统的应用,利用EDFA作为系统的功率提升和中继放大器,分别成功地进行了185km和224km的系统传输试验。 相似文献

介绍了863计划光电子主题光电子器件试验床(Testbed)的概况及其最新的实验结果。采用4只国产DFB激光器组件为光源、3台国内研制的掺铒光纤放大器作级联放大,实现了在1550nm波段、4路622Mb/s信道、相邻信道波长间隙为2nm的282Km单模光纤无再生中继传输,系统误码率优于1×10-12。实验表明,随着我国高性能的量子阱半导体激光器和掺铒光纤放大器的研制成功,进行下一代光纤通信技术的研究,包括开展具有多级掺铒光纤放大器放大的高速大容量波分复用光纤通信系统的研制和开发已有了坚实的基础。 相似文献

在国内首次研制了使用1个光纤放大器的10频道102km无再生中继“WDM+EDFA”全光光纤传输实验系统。每频道传输码率为140Mb/s或280Mb/sNRZ。所用光纤放大器为增益平坦型,小信号增益为35dB。系统全部采用国产DFB激光器,各频道波长分别为1531、1535、1537、1545、1547、1549、1551、1559、1561nm,在波长为1551nm的频道内布置了2路频分复用(FDM)系统。波长分布遍及整个光纤放大器的通带。经无再生中继传输102km后,在误码率为1×10 ̄(-9)条件下,实测了尚有数dB以上(最大为12d8)的功率裕量。系统使用光栅合、分波器作为波分复用和解复用器,频道间隔为2nm及其整数倍,系统具有18个频道的能力。 相似文献

提出了一种用以克服等信道间距划分、波分复用(WDM)+掺饵光纤放大器(EDFA)陆上光纤通信系统中光纤色散和四波混频(FWM)效应的新方案。采用1550nm处色散为-2.89ps/km/nm的小色散单模光纤(small-dispersionsingle-mode-fiber,SDSMF)可避免严重的FWM效应,同时利用ITU-TG.652非色散位移光纤(non-dispersion-shiftedfiber,NDSF),在EDFA整个带宽范围内(1530~1570nm)补偿SDSMF引入的负色散。采用此方案,一个10路×10Gb/s、10级EDFA级联的等信道间距(1nm)光纤通信系统,经近千公里的光纤传输后,FWM和色散引入的恶化量将分别小于1dB。 相似文献

通过实验研究了光孤子源的产生及光纤孤子的传输。采用增益开关分布反馈半导体激光器作为超短脉冲源,用1.48μm激光泵浦的掺饵光纤放大器作为第一级功放,用F-P腔谱窗降啁啾技术产生变换限制脉冲,用另一只1.48μm激光泵浦掺饵光纤放大器作为第二级功放,得到了重复频率为2.5GHz的高功率变换限制光孤子脉冲;进行了30km光孤子传输实验,观察了光孤子的传输特性与高阶孤子的压缩特性。 相似文献

The development of optical sensors for spacecraft applications requires that all components be as lightweight as possible. One method to reduce the weight of a multispectral optical system is to eliminate beamsplitting optics and multiple detectors by patterning a filter array directly onto a CCD. However, techniques commonly used in the production of these filter arrays result in decreased image resolutions. This can greatly impact the performance of sensors used for applications such as planetary probes. To address this issue, we have studied the patterning of multilayer dielectric optical coatings in a small scale, two dimensional array, which will allow development of a four color sensor with a resolution one-half that of monochromatic sensors (compared to one-fourth or less for a four color striped array). We have developed ion milling techniques for the preparation of optical filter arrays which are patterned on a scale as small as 7.5 μm, enabling each pixel of a CCD to have its own associated filter. This paper presents details of the fabrication of these multispectral arrays, and discusses problems associated with pixel-sized filters. 相似文献

A novel spectrometer that is based on the use of the thermal lens effect for sensitive measurements of absorption in the near-IR region has been developed. In this instrument the near-IR excitation light (from 1515 to 1590 nm) was provided by an erbium-doped fiber amplifier (EDFA). An acousto-optic tunable filter (AOTF) was used to spectrally disperse the light from the EDFA. The AOTF was used in a new configuration in which, instead of the diffracted light, the transmitted light was used. The heat generated as a consequence of the absorption of the near-IR excitation beam by the sample was monitored by a He-Ne laser. The sensitivity of this spectrometer was found to be at least two to three times higher than that of conventional transmission measurements. Its application in the sensitive determination of nucleotides (adenosine, cytidine, guanosine, and thymidine) is described. 相似文献

An optical waveguide structure consisting of side-polished single-mode fiber covered with thin a-Si:H planar waveguide is studied as a channel-dropping narrow-band filter and fiber-optic polarizer. Spectral and polarization characteristics of the structure are measured in the wavelength region of 600–1600 nm, for the different values of the a-Si:H film thickness and the superstrate refractive index. The FWHM of the filter is about 8 nm for the asymmetric waveguide and 10 nm for the symmetric one. The discrimination of the resonance minima for two polarizations varies from several tens for the symmetric PWG up to several hundreds of nanometers for the asymmetric PWG. The optical losses in the off-resonance region are less than 0.3 dB. The measured value of the extinction coefficient of the fiber-optical polarizer is 32.5 dB. 相似文献

The hit-miss transform serves as a region-of-interest locator for cells from cervical smear images that show abnormal changes, which are indicative of malignancy, in their nuclei. An optical implementation of the hit-miss transform algorithm uses an analog spatial light modulator for gray-scale modulation at the filter plane of a 4f optical correlator. Gray-scale modulation at the filter plane improves correlator performance in comparison with a binary phase-only filter (BPOF) by reduction of the edge enhancement of kernels used in morphological detection of cancerous cervical cells. The hit-miss transform with a gray-scale amplitude and binary phase optical filter (GABPOF) for the hit filter and a BPOF for the miss filter shows a 47% reduction in total error versus the use of only BPOF filters to locate abnormal cells. 相似文献
