Lead-free ceramics (Na0.47Bi0.47Ba0.06)TiO3, (Na0.47Bi0.47Ba0.06)0.95Ca0.05TiO3, and (Na0.47Bi0.47Ba0.06)0.95Sr0.05TiO3 (BNBT, BNBT-Ca, and BNBT-Sr, respectively) were obtained via solid-state sintering. Due to the different radii between Ca2+ and Sr2+, the mean radii of the A-site cations in BNBT-Ca, BNBT, and BNBT-Sr are different. Effects of radii of the A-site cations on crystallite structure, microstructure, piezoelectric, and dielectric properties of the ceramics were investigated comparatively. X-ray diffraction and Raman spectroscopy results reveal the lattice distortion due to the doping. With the increase in the mean radii of the A-site cations, lattice parameters, tolerance factor, band-gap energy, average size of grains, dielectric constant, and piezoelectric constant of the ceramics increase. The results imply that structure and electrical properties of BNBT-based ceramics are associated with radii of the A-site cations, which provides a possible route to tune structure and electrical properties of BNBT-based materials by changing radii of the A-site cations.  相似文献

Energy-storage properties of [(Bi1/2Na1/2)0.94Ba0.06]La(1−x)ZrxTiO3 (BNT-BLZT, x=0, 0.02, 0.04, and 0.06) lead-free anti-ferroelectric ceramics fabricated via the conventional sintering technique were first investigated. Calculation from the X-ray diffraction results reveals that BNT-BLZT ceramic possesses a single perovskite structure phase. In addition, the P–E hysteresis loops measured at room temperature show that the BNT-BLZT (x=0.02) ceramics obtain the maximum P value of 37.5 μC/cm2 and the largest energy-storage density Wmax is 1.58 J/cm3. The temperature dependence of dielectric permittivity εr and dielectric loss tanδ illustrate that the addition of Zr can improve the piezoelectric properties of BT-BLZT ceramics. These properties indicate that BNT-BLZT ceramics might be a promising lead-free anti-ferroelectric material for energy storage application.  相似文献

A route exploring the morphotropic phase boundaries (MPB) region in (Bi.5Na.5)TiO3-BaTiO3-(Bi.5K.5)TiO3 ternary system has been designed based on the phase diagram. X-ray diffraction (XRD) has been performed to determine the phases of the prepared samples. The dielectric, ferroelectric, and piezoelectric properties of [(1-x) 0.9363(Bi.5Na.5)TiO3–0.0637BaTiO3]-x(Bi.5K.5)TiO3 (BNKBT100x) ternary lead-free piezoelectric ceramics are investigated as the functions of x and sintering temperature. When x was varied from 0 to 0.11, the BNKBT100x ceramics show single perovskite structure sintered at 1130–1210?°C. These ceramics show large dielectric permittivity, small dielectric loss, and diffused phase transition behavior. Well-defined ferroelectric polarization-electric field (P-E) hysteresis loop and relative large piezoelectric and electromechanical coefficients are also found in these ceramics. When increasing x, the electrical performances first increase, then decrease. The same rule is found when varying the sintering temperature. The optimized composition and sintering temperature are finally obtained.  相似文献

The Na0.47Bi0.47Ba0.06Ti1-xFexO3-Δ lead-free piezoelectric ceramics (BNBT-100xFe, x?=?0, 0.01, 0.02, 0.03) were synthesized by using the solid-state reaction technique. X-ray powder diffraction patterns demonstrate that the doping Fe2O3 has totally diffused into the crystal lattice of the ceramics and form a pure perovskite structure. Enhanced piezoelectric property is obtained at x?=?0.01, which is reflected on the enhanced remnant polarization (Pr) and a giant piezoelectric constant (d33) up to 168 pC/N. The increasing ferroelectric-to-relaxor phase transition temperature (TF-R) on dielectric permittivity curves suggest the enhanced ferroelectric characteristics with increasing the Fe3+ content. By using the complex ac impedance analysis, the grain, grain boundary and electrode effects are all detected at the appreciate composition. The resistivity behavior of the samples is sensitive to the doping Fe3+ concentration, and additionally, the oxygen vacancies play an important role in this characteristic.  相似文献

This article studies the microstructure and piezoelectric properties of a ceramic lead-free NBT under different amount of ZnO doping. X-ray diffraction shows that Zn2+ diffuses into the lattice of (Bi0.5Na0.5)TiO3 to form a solid solution with a pure perovskite structure. By modifying the zinc oxide content, the sintering behavior of (Bi0.5Na0.5)TiO3 ceramics was significantly improved and the grain size was increased. The piezoelectric coefficient d33 for the 1.0 wt.% ZnO-doped (Bi0.5Na0.5)TiO3 ceramics sintered at 1050 °C was found to be 95 pC/N, and the electromechanical coupling factor kp = 0.13. However, the piezoelectric coefficient d33 for the 0.5 wt.% ZnO-doped (Bi0.5Na0.5)TiO3 ceramics sintered at 1140 °C was found to be 110 pC/N, and the electromechanical coupling factor kp = 0.17.  相似文献

A series of (1-x)(0.7Bi0.5Na0.5TiO3-0.3Bi0.2Sr0.7TiO3)-xNaNbO3 (BNT-BST-100xNN) lead-free ceramics were fabricated using conventional solid-state reaction technique. The phase behavior, microstructure, dielectric, ac impedance and energy-storage properties of the sintered ceramics were systematically investigated. XRD patterns and surface SEM micrographs revealed the introduction of NaNbO3 didn't change the perovskite structure of BNT-BST at low doping level. The NaNbO3 doping gave rise to slimmer P-E loops and thus gained enhanced energy storage properties. Therefore, a maximum energy storage density of 1.03 J/cm3 was achieved at 85 kV/cm at x = 0.01 via increasing the dielectric breakdown strength (DBS). Temperature-dependent dielectric permittivity illustrated the enhanced relaxor characteristics, implying the long-rang ferroelectric order was further damaged due to the introduction of NaNbO3. The results above indicate the sintered ternary ceramics can be a promising lead-free candidate for energy storage capacitors.  相似文献

Eu-doped (Bi0.5Na0.5)0.94Ba0.06TiO3 (BNBT6-xEu, x=0.00–2.00 at%) lead-free piezoelectric ceramics have been synthesized by the solution combustion method. The effect of Eu doping concentration on the phase structure, microstructure and electrical properties of BNBT6 ceramics has been investigated. The XRD analysis confirms that the europium additive incorporates into the BNBT6 lattice and results in a phase transition from the coexistence of rhombohedral and tetragonal phases to a more symmetric pseudocubic phase. The SEM images indicate that the europium additive has little effect on the ceramic microstructure and the average grain size is about 2.0 μm. The electrical properties of BNBT6 ceramics can be improved by appropriate Eu doping. The 0.25 at% Eu doped BNBT6 ceramic presents excellent electrical properties: piezoelectric constant d33=149 pC/N, remnant polarization Pr=40.27 μC/cm2, coercive field Ec=2.95 kV/mm, dielectric constant εr=1658 and dissipation factor tan δ=0.0557 (10 kHz).  相似文献

Bismuth-doped barium–strontium–titanate ceramics of the formula (Ba0.8Sr0.2)(1−1.5y)BiyTiO3 were prepared using a conventional solid-state reaction method. The structure, dielectric properties, and ferroelectric relaxor behaviour of all compositions were thoroughly investigated. The findings revealed a broad dielectric anomaly and a shift in dielectric maxima towards higher temperatures with increasing frequency. The diffuseness degree indicator γ was about 1.68, and dielectric relaxation was noted to follow the Vogel–Fulcher relationship, with Tf=185 K, f0=1.18×1010 Hz, and Ea=0.35 eV, which further supported the spin-glass-like properties of BBSTs. The latter were also noted to display significant ferroelectric relaxor behaviour that could be attributed to the presence of Bi3+ doping ions. The degree of relaxation behaviour was noted to increase with the increase in bismuth concentration. Raman spectra were investigated as a function of temperature, and the findings confirmed the results from X-ray and dielectric measurements. Among the compositions assayed in this solid solution, 10% Bi-doped Ba0.8Sr0.2TiO3 yielded promising relaxor properties that make it a strong candidate for future industrial application in the production of efficient and eco-friendly relaxor ferroelectric materials.  相似文献

Novel lead-free [(Bi0.5Na0.5)0.94Ba0.06]0.97La0.03Ti1-x(Al0.5Nb0.5)xO3 ceramics (BNBLT-xAN) were prepared by the conventional solid state sintering method. The dielectric, ferroelectric, ac impedance and energy-storage performance were systematically investigated. Temperature dependent permittivity curves showed that relaxation properties of sintered ceramics gradually diminished with the increase of AN. The introduction of AN gave rise to a slimmer polarization hysteresis loop (P-E) and an enhanced dielectric breakdown strength (DBS). Therefore, the optimum energy-storage performance were realized at x?=?0.05 with the energy-storage density (Wrec) of 1.72?J/cm3 and energy-storage efficiency (η) of 85.6% at 105?kV/cm, accompanied with the excellent temperature stability and fatigue performance. The results demonstrated that BNBLT-xAN system was a promising lead-free candidate for energy-storage applications.  相似文献

Piezoelectric Bi0.5(Na0.82K0.18)0.5TiO3 thick films were prepared by aqueous gel-tape casting. Bi0.5(Na0.82K0.18)0.5TiO3 nano-powder with perovskite structure prepared by sol–gel process was obtained. The average particle size was 200 nm. A stable Bi0.5(Na0.82K0.18)0.5TiO3 suspension with 46 vol% solid loading and <1 Pa s viscosity was prepared when 0.8 wt% of ammonium polyacrylate was added with the pH value controlled in the range 7–9. The plasticizer glycerol had a positive effect on the fluidity of the suspensions. The tensile strength and strain to failure of the green tape were 0.42 MPa and 0.04 mm/mm when the addition of glycerol was 50 wt% of the premix solvent. The resulting about 100 μm thick films had relative permittivity of 910, dielectric loss of 4.9% at 10 kHz, remanent polarization of 24 μC/cm2, coercive field of 56 kV/cm, and longitudinal effective piezoelectric coefficient d33eff of 102 pC/N. The good performance illustrated that gel-tape casting was the effective way to prepare Bi0.5(Na0.82K0.18)0.5TiO3 thick film.  相似文献

Lead free piezoelectric Bi0.5(Na0.5K0.5)0.5TiO3 (pure and 1 wt.%, 2 wt.%, 4 wt.% Sb-doped) ceramics were synthesized away from its MPB. The crystalline nature of the BNKT ceramic was studied by XRD and SEM. Depolarization temperature (Td) and transition temperature (Tc) were observed through phase transitions in dielectric studies which were found to increase after Sb-doping, thus increasing its usable temperature range. In the study of relaxation behavior, the activation energy for relaxation was found to be 0.33, 0.43, 0.57 and 0.56 eV for pure and Sb-doped samples, respectively. All samples were found to exhibit normal Curie-Weiss law above their Tc. Doping of Sb was found to restrain the diffused character of the pure sample. In P-E loop, Sb-doping was found to increase the ferroelectric properties.Pure and Sb-doped BNKT ceramics exhibited high values of piezoelectric charge coefficient (d33) as 115, 121, 129 and 100 pC/N, respectively.  相似文献

In order to obtain a new system of (Bi1/2Na1/2)TiO3 (BNT) based lead-free incipient piezoceramics with large strain for practical applications of actuators, we investigated the effect of B-site complex-ion (Fe0.5Nb0.5)4+ (FN)-doped Bi1/2 (Na0.82K0.12)1/2TiO3 ceramics on the phase structure, dielectric, ferroelectric, piezoelectric and electric-field-induced strain properties. All samples exhibited single perovskite phase with pseudocubic symmetry. The room temperature electric-field-induced polarization (P-E) and strain (S-E) hysteresis loops indirectly illustrated ferroelectric-to-relaxor (FE-RE) phase transition. The increasing content of FN doping decreased the FE-RE phase transition temperature, TF-R to below room temperature and induced the reversible FE-RE phase transition, giving rise to a large strain of 0.462% with a normalized strain, d*33 of 660 pm/V at a critical composition of x = 5. A fluctuation of the dielectric curve for BNKT-5 mol% FN ceramics in the spectra around 80 °C before and after polarization suggested that the large strain response can be induced via delicate mixing of the FE and RE phase.  相似文献

Li2CO3 has been used as a sintering aid for fabricating lead-free ferroelectric ceramic 0.93(Bi0.5Na0.5TiO3)-0.07BaTiO3. A small amount (0.5 wt%) of it can effectively lower the sintering temperature of the ceramic from 1200 °C to 980 °C. Unlike other low temperature-sintered ferroelectric ceramics, the ceramic retains its good dielectric and piezoelectric properties, giving a high dielectric constant (1570), low dielectric loss (4.8%) and large piezoelectric coefficient (180 pC/N). The “depolarization” temperature is also increased to 100 °C and the thermal stability of piezoelectricity is improved. Our results reveal that oxygen vacancies generated from the diffusion of the sintering aid into the lattices are crucial for realizing the low temperature sintering. Owing to the low sintering temperature and good dielectric and piezoelectric properties, the ceramics, especially of multilayered structure, should have great potential for practical applications.  相似文献

Piezoelectric sensors and energy harvesters require piezoelectric materials with large piezoelectric responses and good thermal stability. However, a commonly accepted concept is that the promotion of depolarization temperature of Bi1/2Na1/2TiO3-based lead-free ceramics is usually companied by deterioration of piezoelectric properties. In the present study, the effects of acceptor-Fe doping on piezoelectric property and thermal depolarization behavior of Bi1/2(Na0.8K0.2)1/2TiO3 ceramics are investigated. Fe doping at an appropriate level (≤ 3.0%) improves piezoelectric property and thermal stability simultaneously, due to the stabilization of long-range ferroelectric order. Piezoelectric constant d33 increases from 125 pC/N to 148 pC/N with Fe amount of 3.0%, and then decreases. The depolarization temperature Td is promoted continuously with Fe addition, from 76 °C for the undoped sample to 118 °C for the sample with Fe amount of 5.0%. It is proposed that the piezoelectric property and thermal stability can be simultaneously improved by stabilizing the long-range ferroelectric order in Bi1/2Na1/2TiO3-based systems with obvious relaxor character. This work provides a new insight into the improvement of Bi1/2Na1/2TiO3-based lead-free piezoelectric ceramics.  相似文献

CuO as a sintering additive was utilized to explore a low-temperature sintering of 0.92(Bi1/2Na1/2)TiO3-0.06BaTiO3-0.02(K0.5Na0.5)NbO3 lead-free piezoceramic which has shown a promise for actuator applications due to its large strain. The sintering temperature guaranteeing the relative density of greater than 98% is drastically decreased with CuO addition, and saturates at a temperature as low as ∼930 °C when the addition level exceeds ca. 1 mol.%. Two distinguished features induced by the addition of CuO were noted. Firstly, the initially existing two-phase mixture gradually evolves into a rhombohedral single phase with an extremely small non-cubic distortion. Secondly, a liquid phase induced by the addition of CuO causes an abnormal grain growth, which can be attributed to the grain boundary reentrant edge mechanism. Based on these two observations, it is concluded that the added CuO not only forms a liquid phase but also diffuses into the lattice. In the meantime, temperature dependent permittivity measurements both on unpoled and poled samples suggest that the phase stability of the system is greatly influenced by the addition of CuO. Polarization and strain hysteresis measurements relate the changes in the phase stability closely to the stabilization of ferroelectric order, as exemplified by a significant increase in both the remanent strain and polarization values. Electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) spectroscopic analysis revealed that the stabilization of ferroelectric order originates from a significant amount of Cu2+ diffusing into the lattice on B-site. There, it acts as an acceptor and forms a defect dipole in association with a charge balancing oxygen vacancy.  相似文献

The bismuth layer-structured Na0.5Bi4.5-xPrxTi4O15 (x?=?0, 0.1, 0.2, 0.3, 0.4, and 0.5) (NBT-xPr3+) ceramics were fabricated using the traditional solid reaction process. The effect of different Pr3+ contents on dielectric, ferroelectric and piezoelectric properties of Na0.5Bi4.5Ti4O15 ceramics were investigated. The grain size of Pr3+-doping ceramics was found to be smaller than that of pure one, the maximum dielectric constant and Curie temperature Tc gradually decreased with increasing Pr3+ contents, and the dielectric loss decreased at high temperature by Pr3+-doping. Moreover, the activation energy (Ea), resistivity (Z’), remanent polarization (2Pr) and piezoelectric constant (d33) increased by Pr3+-doping. The NBT-xPr3+ ceramics with x?=?0.3 achieved the optimal properties with the maximum dielectric constant of 1109.18, minimum loss of 0.00822 (250?kHz), Ea of 1.122?eV, Z’ of 7.9?kΩ?cm (725 ºC), d33 of 18 pC/N, 2Pr of 12.04 μC/cm2. The enhancement was due to the addition of Pr3+ which suppressed the decreasing of resistivity at high temperature and made it possible for NBT-xPr3+ ceramics to be poled in perpendicular direction, implying that it is a great improvement for Na0.5Bi4.5Ti4O15 ceramics in electrical properties.  相似文献

Er3+ doped K0.5Na0.5NbO3 (KNN) lead-free piezoelectric ceramics were synthesized by the solid-state reaction method. The upconversion emission properties of Er3+ doped KNN ceramics were investigated as a function of Er3+ concentration and incident pumping power intensity. Bright green (~555 nm) and red (670 nm) upconversion emission bands were obtained under 980 nm excitation at room temperature, which are attributed to (2H11/2, 4S3/2)→4I15/2 and 4F9/24I15/2 transitions, respectively. The upconversion emission intensity can be adjusted by changing Er3+ concentration, and the mechanism of upconversion processes involve not only a two-photon absorption but also a three-photon absorption. In addition to the admirable intrinsic piezoelectric properties of KNN, this kind of material may have potential application as a multifunctional device by integrating its upconversion and piezoelectric property.  相似文献

(Bi0.5Na0.5)0.94Ba0.06TiO3 (abbreviated as BNBT6) ceramic of near MPB composition was synthesized by two different processes. The first one is the addition of pre-synthesized BaTiO3 and pre-milled Bi2O3, Na2CO3, BaCO3 powders and calcination powder milled with a high energy milling machine in order to obtain a nano-particle size. The second one is a conventional one to compare with the former process. The pre-milling and the pre-synthesis process of raw materials lowered the calcination temperature to the extent of 59 °C as compared with conventionally fabricated BNBT6. The particle size of the powder exposed to heavy high energy milling reduced to 50–70 nm, whereas that of the conventionally ball-milled powder without the pre-milling and the pre-synthesis process had a larger size of 280 nm. To investigate the effects of the modified process on the characteristic of BNBT6 ceramics, the dielectric and the piezoelectric properties of sintered specimens fabricated by the two different processes were evaluated. It was found that the properties of the nano-sized BNBT6 ceramic near the MPB composition were increased by the modified mixing and milling method, showing superior characteristics in terms of the piezoelectric/dielectric constant and sintering density compared with those of the conventional process. The modified mixing and milling method was considered to be a new and promising process for lead-free piezoelectric ceramics owing to their excellent piezoelectric/dielectric properties.  相似文献
