相比于陆地无线传感器网络, 水下传感器网络拥有更大的传播时延, 导致许多已经比较成熟的MAC协议不能直接应用于水下。提出了基于压缩感知的水下传感器网络预约多址接入协议, 充分利用水下环境中的长传播时延, 使网络中各节点能够在时间和空间上对信道资源进行共用, 实现多个用户同时进行信道预约, 提高了信道的利用率。在考虑多用户分集基础上, 该协议使成功预约到信道的用户可以利用有限的全部带宽资源进行高速传输, 以此来提高整个网络的吞吐性能。仿真结果表明, 与传统的RTS/CTS方案相比, 该协议具有更高效的信道预约能力, 更高的数据传输效率, 以及更好的吞吐性能。  相似文献

在认知无线电网络中,媒体接入控制(MAC)协议的主要功能包括信道感知、选择和接入控制,其中感知时间和传输时间的长度对网络的性能有着重要的影响。在动态无线网络环境下,如何合理分配感知时间和传输时间是个挑战性问题。提出了一种双天线多信道分布式认知无线电MAC(TM-MAC)协议,不需要在传输之前对信道进行感知。节点可以在其它节点传输数据的同时对频谱资源进行检测,然后利用空闲的频谱资源通信。建立了数学模型分析在饱和网络状况下MAC协议的吞吐量。仿真分析表明TM-MAC协议能够有效提高网络的吞吐量。  相似文献

基于有效竞争预约接人、无冲突轮询传输的思想,该文改进了支持节点移动性和多跳网络结构的依据用户妥善安排的多址接人(UPMA)协议,然后利用网络仿真工具OPNET构建了UPMA协议的仿真框架,并仿真了由自组织分群算法所获得群的群内无线传输情况。该仿真框架为UPMA协议详细配置了物理层和数据链路层模型,可以设置不同的信道特性以及应用场景。在此基础上,该文分析了UPMA协议的信道吞吐量、平均消息时延和平均消息丢弃率,并将其与带冲突避免的载波侦听多址接人协议(CSMA/CA)、轮询协议进行了性能比较。仿真结果表明,UPMA协议可以提供较高的吞吐量、较低的平均消息时延和较小的平均消息丢弃率。  相似文献

DSR协议是一种典型的按需多跳路由协议,能够很好地实现既有网络之间的无缝连接又能适应网络的动态变化。为满足无线Mesh网络需求,在分析DSR协议的基础上,本文提出了一种新的安全增强的无线Mesh网络多径DSR路由协议-SE_DSR协议,其基本思想是采用多径路由发现机制为协议提供负载均衡和路由容错能力,采用双向路径信任评估和单向证书链验证的方式为协议提供安全保障。相比传统安全协议,SE_DSR协议虽然牺牲了少量存储开销,但它在保证路由安全的同时缩短了路由发现时延,提高了数据传输速率。性能分析和仿真实验表明,该协议在提供负载均衡和容错的同时还能有效防御多种攻击,具有较高的网络吞吐量和较强的安全性能。  相似文献

为保证无线网络中多媒体数据的传输质量,提出了一种适用于无线网络的流媒体传输机制(WMTCC)。该机制通过发送探测报文区分网络拥塞丢包和链路误码随机丢包,准确判断网络的拥塞状况,实施发送速率调节,保证了流媒体服务质量(QoS)。由于准确区分出无线链路误码丢包,该机制在链路误码率较高时能维持较高的网络吞吐量。仿真实验结果显示在高误码率无线网络中,该机制可以获得更高的吞吐量和更大的拥塞窗口,并且发送速率的变化更加平滑。  相似文献

对于无线自组网而言,由于网络拓扑与路由选择的随机性,容量的分析显得尤为复杂。研究了能量约束对无线自组网容量性能的影响。该网络具有路由汇聚功能,且节点的发送过程基于分时竞争发送协议。在假设能量缓存中的能量值足够大时,节点就能发送数据的前提下,提出了一种基于闭合排队网络的容量分析模型。该模型同时考虑了数据细节、能量缓存以及随机接入协议。然后研究了能量约束对随机接入协议设计参数的影响,以优化网络性能。最后分析了能量约束对最大稳定容量、稳定域以及分组丢弃率的影响。仿真结果验证了所提分析模型的准确性。  相似文献

在城市小区和广阔的农村建立低成本的无线网状网,为无线终端用户提供高速的接入服务,是一项极具现实意义的工作.设计了一种适合于此类网络的MAC层协议称为Mesh-MAC,该协议建立在已有的IEEE 802.11硬件产品基础上,每两个节点之间的通信是由一对方向天线完成,通过一种全新的时间同步方案,可以实现M ESH网内高效的数据转发.仿真结果表明,与IEEE 802.11及2P协议相比,Mesh-MAC协议在吞吐量和端到端传输延时等方面,都有明显的改善.  相似文献

The growth of mobile and ubiquitous computing has increased the demand for wireless communications, which in turn raises interference levels and spectrum pollution, causing problems of network coexistence. The coexistence assurance between these devices and wireless sensor networks is a big challenge. This paper proposes a new medium access protocol, DynMAC (Dynamic MAC), which uses mechanisms of dynamic channel reconfiguration, recovery from lost links and reconfiguration of transmission parameters based on the properties of the cognitive radios, to deal with this problem. Simulations and experiments using a real WSN testbed, were performed to validate our protocol. Results show that the proposed mechanisms solve the WSN configuration problems, in noisy and interference environments, and enable the coexistence with different networks and devices operating in the same frequency spectrum, while maintaining application requirements in critical deployment scenarios.  相似文献

In wireless networks, users expect to get access to the network securely and seamlessly to share the data flow of access points anytime and anywhere. However, either point-to-point or point-to-multipoint methods in traditional wireless networks make the network bandwidth decrease rapidly, which cannot meet the requirements of users. Recently, a new wireless broadband access network, wireless mesh networks (WMNs), has emerged. As one of the key technologies in WMNs, wireless routing protocols plays an important role in performance optimization of WMNs. Therefore, in this paper, we address the on-demand routing protocols by focusing on dynamic source routing (DSR) protocol and ad hoc on-demand distance vector (AODV) routing protocol in WMNs. Then, we use the OPNET modules to establish the simulation models of DSR and AODV protocols in WMNs. Simulation and results show that, DSR protocol that is based on the dynamic source routing is not suitable for wireless transmission, while AODV routing protocol that is based on the purpose-driven routing is suitable for wireless transmission with rapid change of network topology.  相似文献

This paper presents a novel cross-layer approach (LLE-TCP) designed for performance enhancement of TCP over a large variety of wireless networks. LLE-TCP avoids TCP ACK packet transmission over the wireless channel. As a result, the saved time can be utilized by the nodes for data packet delivery. The proposed scheme enhances the protocol stacks of the wireless sender (or a base station) and the receiver with cross-layer ARQ agents which support ACK suppression. ARQ agent suppresses the outgoing ACKs at the receiver side and generates them locally at the sender or base station.The performance evaluation of the proposed approach is performed via simulations as well as IEEE 802.11 testbed experiments for single-hop and infrastructure network scenarios. LLE-TCP demonstrates the performance improvement in the range of 20–100% depending on the transmitted TCP/IP datagram size.Among the factors contributing to performance enhancement are: medium busy time reduction, reduced sensibility to link errors, reduced round trip time (RTT), and improved congestion control.A good level of throughput fairness as well as a fair coexistence with state-of-the-art TCP modifications ensures proper functionality of the proposed approach, while performance advantages extended even on non-LLE-TCP users favor an incremental deployment of the technique in existing networks.  相似文献

Recent years have witnessed the remarkable development of wireless embedded network systems (WENS) such as cyber-physical systems and sensor networks. Reliable bulk data dissemination is an important building module in WENS, supporting various applications, e.g., remote software update, video distribution. The existing studies often construct network structures to enable time-slotted multi-hop pipelining for data dissemination. However, the adopted transmission mechanism was originally designed for structureless protocols, and thus posing significant challenges on efficient structured data dissemination. In this paper, we investigate the problem of structured bulk data dissemination. Specifically, we propose reliable out-of-order transmission and bursty encoding mechanisms to transmit packets as many as possible in each transmission slot. As a consequence, the resulting transmission protocol (ULTRA) can fully utilize each transmission slot and propagate data in the network as fast as possible. The performance results obtained from both testbed and simulation experiments demonstrate that, compared to the state-of-the-art protocols, ULTRA can greatly enhance the dissemination performance by reducing the dissemination delay by 34.8%.  相似文献

Cognitive heterogeneous cellular networks (CHCNs) are emerging as a promising approach to next-generation wireless communications owing to their seamless coverage and high network throughput. In this paper, we describe our reliance on multi-antenna technology and a secrecy transmission protocol to ensure the reliability and security of downlink underlay CHCNs. First, we introduce a two-tier CHCN model using a stochastic geometry framework, and derive the probability distribution of the indicator function for a secrecy transmission scheme. We then investigate the connection outage probability, secrecy outage probability (SOP), and transmission SOP of both primary and cognitive users under a secrecy guard scheme and a threshold-based scheme. Furthermore, we reveal some insights into the secrecy performance by properly setting the predetermined access threshold and the radius of detection region for the secrecy transmission scheme. Finally, simulation results are provided to show the influence of the antenna system, eavesdropper density, predetermined access threshold, and radius of the detection region on the reliability and security performance of a CHCN.  相似文献

DSR犤1,2犦协议是一种用于无线Adhoc网络的路由协议。笔者在Linux操作系统下实现了DSR路由协议,并以此为基础,搭建了一个无线Adhoc网络的实验床(Testbed)。在实验床的真实场景中,笔者从路由性能、协议开销和TCP业务的传输性能三个角度对DSR协议进行了一系列实验和性能评价工作。论文对该实验床的搭建和所得到的性能测试的结果进行了介绍。实验中,发现在无线多跳Adhoc网络的环境下,TCP业务的性能很差,此外也给出了对这种现象的解释。  相似文献

介质访问控制协议在很大程度上决定了无线自组网的性能。本文在介绍CTMAC协议的基础上对该协议的并发规则进行了证明,并从理论上讨论了CTMAC协议的开销。通过模拟并与IEEE802.11和MACA-P比较表明,CTMAC协议可以有效地提高网络吞吐量。  相似文献

In wireless ad hoc networks, the major quality of service (QoS) concern and challenge in the design and analysis of contention-based medium access control (MAC) protocols is to achieve good throughput and access delay performance in the presence of hidden terminals, which are defined as the terminals out of the radio coverage area of an intended transmitter but within that of the receiver. We propose and analyze in this paper a new dual-channel random access protocol, called “Double Sense Multiple Access” (DSMA), for improving QoS support in wireless ad hoc networks. By separating the transmissions of ready-to-send (RTS) and data packets into two time-slotted channels and by introducing a novel double sense mechanism, DSMA completely solves the hidden terminal problem and can guarantee the success transmission of data packets. By taking into account the most complex network scenario in which all transmitters are hidden terminals with respect to each other, key QoS metrics such as throughput, blocking probability and access delay are derived mathematically for the proposed DSMA protocol. 多跳无线网络中网络拥塞的出现将严重降低网络的性能。基于802.11e提供的区分业务类型的信道接入优先级机制,提出了一种对尽力而为(best-effort)类型业务动态调整其优先级进行网络拥塞控制的协议。该算法的主要思想是对发生网络拥塞的节点提升其业务流传输的优先级使其获得更多的传输机会以缓解拥塞状况,并对严重的网络拥塞状况采取反向施压的策略降低上游节点业务流的转发速率。仿真结果表明,该算法有效地提高了网络重负载情况下的吞吐量。  相似文献

随着无线网络的快速发展和Internet中流媒体视频的巨大成功,无线网络中的视频服务有望在不久的将来得到大规模部署,无线网络上的实时流媒体传输技术已成为研究热点,而其中视频安全组播协议是一个关键问题。但是,由于无线网络中有限的带宽和有限的存储空间,外部的攻击与自适应机制带来的安全性问题在无线流媒体视频中是不可避免的。一个精心设计的密钥管理算法不仅可以明显地提高流媒体视频的性能,还能够保证可靠的数据嵌入以及实时视频应用提供安全支持。如何设计一个高效的密钥管理算法,是当前流媒体视频应用中一个备受关注的问题。针对无线视频应用,针对一个处于开放和不安全的网络环境中的自适应视频应用的密钥管理算法进行了研究,并进行了算法评价。  相似文献

民航无线宽带专网CAWN是大型机场运行业务数据的通信手段。CAWN的接入认证及其数据传输的安全性涉及到航空机场的安全运行和乘客的个人隐私等。文章在研究了大型航空机场无线覆盖的网络结构和安全性要求的基础上,提出了基于IPSec的CAWN接入认证和数据传输安全机制的方案.根据国内某机场的CAWN组网方式搭建了实验系统,验证了IPSec的接入认证功能,并对系统的功能和性能进行了测试。实验结果表明加载了IPSec模块的系统能够实现接入认证功能和保障数据传输的安全性,且总体网络性能指标稳定;虽然网络吞吐量略有减小,以及网络延时略有增加,但是能够满足航空机场网络通信的要求。  相似文献

Busy tone multiple access protocols have been used in multihop networks to reduce the effect of the hidden terminal problem. Due to complexity, the performance of these protocols for large networks has not been analyzed. In this paper, using a Markov chain model and an approximation, we are able to analyze and evaluate the throughput performance of the non-persistent CSMA protocol, the conservative busy tone multiple access (C-BTMA) protocol and the ideal destination-based busy tone multiple access (ID-BTMA) protocol for large networks. The throughput comparison of the protocols is given. The results show that in a large multihop network, the BTMA protocols have a better performance than the non-persistent CSMA protocol and the ID-BTMA protocol has a better performance than the C-BTMA protocol at light channel loads.  相似文献

The setting of the physical carrier sense is critical in wireless networks, since it often has to account for contrasting objectives like limiting the overall interference while ensuring high concurrency among wireless transmissions. This paper proposes an analytical approach for evaluating the impact of carrier sense setting on the throughput efficiency of wireless access networks. A time continuous Markov chain is used to describe the system, and to further gathering performance measures in terms of throughput and collision probability. Numerical results obtained through the model and further validated against simulations are used to derive qualitative dimensioning criteria for the carrier sense under different network conditions.  相似文献
