| Abstract: | An efficient asymmetric synthesis of (R)-benzylic amines in optical purity 36–90% had been achieved by alkylation of a chiral ketimine prepared from D-camphor and benzylamine. Diastereoselectivity in the alkylation is dependent on the alkyl halides. |
