Research on Technology and Security of Software-Defined Networking

This paper outlines the origins and development of SDN and OpenFlow. The OpenFlow technical standards are illustrated and presented, as well as the details of the SDN/OpenFlow technologies. The future technology trends are forecasted. Meanwhile, the in-depth discussion and analysis of how to implement network security and innovation application in the new network architecture are presented. An SDN security policy architecture model with a SDN security paradigm is given. Moreover, the idea of three type applications including network management, security management and security services is proposed in the paper.
