| Abstract: | By comparing the differences among Shanghai, Beijing, and Shenzhen in earthquake loads, wind loads, ground conditions, local standards and other factors, the reasons for the high steel content of RC structures and the proposed scope of steel content in Shanghai are given in this paper. |
