摘    要:OSF的分布式计算环境(DCE)和OMG的通用对象请求代理体系(CORBA)是当今中间件的两大主流技术。它们都能屏蔽分布工系统中存在的异构性,开发分布式应用程序。而且,它们 将在很长的一段时间内共存下去。为了解决更高层的中间件平台之间的异构性,文中介绍了一些实现CORBA与DCE互操作的研究工作,并讨论了在应用层基于应用对象-桥来实现DCE与CORBA互操作的方法。首先,文中给出了桥的基本概念和3

Abstract:Middlewares are platforms to mask any heterogeneity which may exist in a distributed system. OSF's distribution computing environment(DCE) and OMG's common object request broker architecture (CORBA) are the two main platforms in use today and will continue to coexist for a long time. Some research work on implementing interoperation between CORBA and DCE is described in the paper. Here presented is an appication level approach, based on an application object bridge, to implement interworking between DCE and CORBA. A basic concept and three different types of bridge (static, on demand, and dynamic bridge) are discussed. Two key technologies involved in implementing an on demand bridge are described as well. Finally, a prototype of on demand bridge and its implementation technology are also given.
