| Abstract: | This paper, with an engineering case of foundation pit support in Qingdao, analyzes the technical difficulties of vertical excavation in deep foundation pit confined by adjacent buildings and complicated surroundings, and states the advantages of applying steel-pipe pile with prestressing anchor cable. Moreover, the announcements are also discussed on constructing such support structures in vertical excavation of deep foundation pit. |
