一种新型基片集成脊波导结构的设计

摘    要:为了解决基片集成波导带宽窄的局限性,设计了一种新型的基片集成脊波导(ridge substrate integrated waveguide, RSIW)结构。该结构在传统的基片集成脊波导基础上采用了不同介电常数的两层介质板,同时在其两侧还设置了两排周期性排列的空气孔。仿真结果表明:所设计结构的单模工作带宽达到10.88 GHz,相对带宽B达到了4.42,相比其他结构的单模工作带宽和相对带宽分别提高了57%和18.8%;该结构在整个通带范围内表现出了良好的传输特性,能够覆盖整个超宽带范围的应用。该设计为解决基片集成波导带宽窄的局限性以及实现紧凑型宽带互连提供了参考。

Abstract:In order to solve the problem of the narrow bandwidth of the substrate integrated waveguide, a new type of ridge substrate integrated waveguide (RSIW) is proposed. Based on the traditional RSIW, the structure is composed of two dielectric layers with different permittivity, and there are two rows of air holes arranged periodically on the both sides of the structure. Simulation results demonstrate that the single-mode working bandwidth of the proposed structure is up to 10.88 GHz, which is 57% and 18.8% higher than that of RSIW1 and RSIW2. Moreover, the B value of the proposed structure is 4.42, and the structure exhibits good transmission characteristics over the whole passband, which can be suitable for applications covering the entire ultra-wideband. The design provides a reference for solving the narrow bandwidth of the substrate integrated waveguide and forming a compact broadband interconnect.
