| Abstract: | A low-loss and high-repeatability 4 × 4 optical matrix switch fabricated by using rhombic glass-block switch elements is described. The maximum loss was 1.3 dB and the crosstalk was less than ?55 dB, with a switching delay of less than 18 ms. |
