基于区域分割的自适应Loop细分算法

摘    要:提出一种基于Loop细分算法的自适应算法.该算法主要是通过对离散点曲率的分析,将控制网格划分成相连的多个区域,并对各个区域进行局部细分,以达到整体优化的效果.同时针对区域划分所产生的边界裂缝,提出一种新的算法来消除裂缝.实例表明,该算法能用较少的面片数获得理想光滑的曲面,从而提高了模型渲染速度.

Abstract:A new adaptive subdivision scheme is presented based on traditional Loop subdivision scheme.The method divides the control mesh into many connected regions and afterwards refines these local regions by analyzing the curvature of discrete points in mesh to obtain the purpose of global optimization.Simultaneously aiming at the boundary crack produced by region partition,a new scheme of processed crack is provided.Practical examples show that the method could achieve a desirable amount of surface quality by fewer facets in the approximation,and then increase the speed of model romance.
