Analysis of water and soil conservancy census results of Fangchenggang City

As shown by the results of water and soil conservancy census, one of the components of the first China census for water, hydraulic erosion areas in Fangchenggang City mainly distribute in Fangchenggang district and Shangsi County with relatively developed agriculture. Agricultural production characteristics lead to serious surface damage , but the water and soil conservancy measures consisting of terrace fields, water conservation forest, closed land only involve less areas, unable to meet the requirements for water and soil conservancy. It is suggested to in crease investment of water and soil conservancy works, transfer agricultural production mode, increase investment of infrastructure construction, so as to realize sustainable social and economic development.
