| Abstract: | Objective To understand reasons for pursuing master′s degree among postgraduate nursing students,and to provide targeted education.Methods Twelve full-time first-year postgraduate nursing students were investigated by using deep interview.Results The main reasons that postgraduate nursing students pursued master′s degree were academic pursuit,social development,requirements of job,creating conditions for employment and educational complex.Conclusion Education and career guidance should be taken to help postgraduate nursing students establish right professional values and promote their core competencies. |
