The Core Problems and Key Technologies of Pan-Spatial Information System

This paper analyses the current status and existing problems of Spatial Information System. And it further defines basic concepts and characteristic of Pan-spatial Information System. We put forward a new technological roadmap for constructing Pan-spatial Information System which is based on multi-granularity spatio-temporal ob-jects. And it makes clear that what scientific problems, key technologies and research contents are needed to be solved. At last, we point out the expected benefits of the research.
