Abstract:From August to October,2006, a temporary seismostation network was densely set up in Tangshan-Luanxian region to record the microearthquake. This network was composed of 30 digital seismographs, and the intervals between stations were about 2 to 5 km.Among these stations two were located at the Dachengshan Park and the Nanhu Park in Tangshan, which were used for earthquake observation experiments under strong interference background. For nearly 3 months, 398 hypocenter locations were recognised of which their signals were received simultaneously by more than 4 stations. In the same period, however,only about 40 earthquakes can be found in Regional Seismic Catalogue. It shows that more microearthquakes can be observed by the temporary seismic station network, and thus it provides plentiful basic informations for techtonic study in the observed region.
