| Abstract: | When the content of antimony in lead-base alloy is more than 0.5 %, the determination of thallium has serious interference according to the national standard method （GB/T4103.12- 2000）. We dissolved Pb-Sb alloy by H2SO4, K2SO4, then filtered and matrix precipitation of lead, and added FeC13, NH4Cl in filtrate. Ammonia was used to control acidity, thus turning Sb3＋ into Sb（OH）3 and removal of Sb. Filtrate was extracted by amyl acetale and crystal violet colorimetric. Through the investigation of precision and recovery, we believe that the method is accurate and reliable. |
