| Abstract: | West-line project of water diversion from the Yangtze river into the Yellow River will create efficiencies in agricultUralirrigation, water supply for cities and towns, increase of power generation in the YelloW abover stem, social and ecologicalenvironment improvements. There will be directly economic efficiency of RMB 21. 3 to 80. 8 billion at 2030 level witheconomie efficiency per unit water diversion of RMB 4. 73 to 4. 15 per m3 corresponding to different plans of 4. 5 to 19. 5billion m3 water diversion from analysis, and at the same the social, ecological and environmental effects will be significant. |
