Advancing China's pyrite-based sulphuric acid production

A great deal of sulphur import in China for sulphuric acid production has influenced supply and 'demand of world sulphur market, resulting in high price of sulphur. So it is necessary to advance sulphuric acid production based on pyrite, an important indigenous resource in China, which can be long-term and stably supplied to ensure stability and safety of China's sulphuric acid industry. Pyrite-based sulphuric acid production would be progressing towards large scale, concentrate feed for effective use of iron, high waste heat utilization and low sewage disposal and SO2 emission.
